The old interior was so cool. The two tone was so beautiful ❤
I miss the two-tone badly!
Just picked up a high mileage 2017 QV 3 months ago... carbon sport seats and CCBs... 1 owner, fully serviced its entire ownership. Had serviced at the dealership here in Pa and given a perfect bill of health!!! Dont be afraid to purchase one of these with miles! They're the performance bargain of the decade!
Where do see the asking prices going in 2025-26?
Damn! Glad you got such a find! Wish I could converse with the owner and have a chat about how he treated the car lol.
i drive alpha all my life.
Well if you cant affoard a new alpha you can not sustain one used for spare parts a more expensive then ferraris.
just sell it believe me my friend.
I know you are trying to stay on a budget, but honestly, in 2020 Alfa Romeo made so many adjustments to the Giulia, Software and Hardware, resolving pretty much all of the original issues older models had... To get a Quad could be worthy a bit more of a sacrifice (economically) and get at least a MY 2020
That’s a good point, 2020 was a big adjustment for the QV, maybe if I can save a little more a 2020 may be worth it!?
If you drive a 2020 and a 2019 back to back you will prefer the handling and raw sound of the 2019. All the changes to suspension and interior made it a less desirable car in my opinion.
@@NealsBrush
@@NealsBrush Rather have the 2020 with the touch screen and interior upgrades.
@@NealsBrush I own a 2023 and used to have a 2019. Indeed, the driving characteristics of the 2019 were superior. Do I regret my choice? Sometimes, yeah.
As it was said, try for a 2020 model, better interior and got rid of the gremlins. It may be a little more money but worth it in my opinion.
Thats what im seeing. Seems like I may have to up the budget!
Love the spec. Inside appears to be super clean on this side. Make sure leather is in good shape. Get maintenance records and take to your old dealership for inspection. If no maintenance records, pass.
That’s the biggest thing i need to cover is maintenance! If I can pull those and make sure it’s pristine then it may be worth my time.
You know it's funny I was checking this out for myself n then I was you live out there I should forward this to you but your already there lol
You should get this mans
Looks great! Have it looked over, thoroughly before you pull the trigger.
Right on!!
Ron... buy it!!! Offer 35k!
Out the door price?
You absolutely need a QV 🙌🏽 2020 has the port injection, but not sure if it’s worth it the extra budget. You can upgrade literally everything to 2020 on a 2017.
Once you buy it let me know 🙌🏽
You know I'll be reaching out to you for all of the advice! 💯💯
@@RonsRides I got a QV blueprint shirt with your name on it 🤝
Ron, you mentioned this car has 56000 miles. The dealer website and cargurus says 46000 miles The only thing that would hold me back from purchasing. This car is that it has 3 previous owners. That's just me. Trofeo white is beautiful. I have a ti sport in that color.
Yeah Im not sure why the discrepancy between miles on the site versus actuality, might be a red flag.
Make sure to check ✔️ it before pull the trigger on it , regular maintenance done no major issues, no crashes ect.. the taillights you can change for the clear ones .
Yup ✔✔✔ and good point on the lights.
Definitely buy it before someone else does. Do rhe service and feel comfortable knowing the car will be reliable
✔💯
Ron... buy it!!!
Thinking hard!
Get the '20+ with the multiport injection. There's a reason they added port injection to the engine ;).
2020 seems like the way to go!
Looks like a nice car. It would be cool to see it as a project car. But tbh you seemed more excited when you were filming the GT.
Maserati is what brought me to this Italian world so it has a special place in my heart.
The engine doesn’t have to be dropped to replace the accessory belt, which is supposed to be replaced every 4 years or 36k miles. Also, carbon mirror caps weren’t standard, they were always an optional component.
Man that belt job being $2k when I worked at the dealer I thought it was such a laborious job because of that. Also im going to link you to the sticker, those mirrors didnt show up in the additional options: www.carfax.com/phoenix/sticker/v3/ALFA/0MzLNIGWwazn7OrWm1-zfQWrLJwtbHfie1DW7ZS5exNSKV6Iv_E0fmkOIFPmspE9iCxWzqNHVN_NjareJ7TQyGmRib0hMsx08X8PvXlv2d8LxOTsa8MpJoHtwcUZM8Ynsh2DkWmqHu66Mdd33FiwMGvQ9DMX_TSbdSniBfSB9GtijloFPhcpTpZhSs6iwzrQpHD5j7tPtIolpPW5epUfjfLDxJYiC47-ABOeiU80O1EFHjsD_5l005O5Z3CapLBPPu6AQlmHFTL4A_NFMMPo-UOI6vCrYRNy4GQ432T-0oF1rJJfDjGgXLmR5jR-pf_qsboLELQKJRjG_L7oQvXkJDyax3phOnMYRxfe1NUwOJLksqjrzYxLFG-ONj4XLMq1FAoZ.cfx
@@RonsRides I’ve watched the video a few times and I’ve zoomed in on the mirrors. From what I’m seeing, those are aftermarket mirror caps, not OEM. The carbon weave is “wrong”. They would definitely be mentioned under “standard equipment” on the window sticker.
Love the content BTW, I myself have a 2019 Giulia QV also in Trofeo tri-coat, only 9,300 miles.
Miles are higher than I’d want, but it looks like a winner. If the history was good, I’d grab it. I like the way the white highlights the carbon.
Yeah was a little afraid. Of the miles. While it looks pretty legit, I would at least put around 40k miles in its lifetime so that 100k mark will creep up for sure.
@RonsRides add extra coverage for peace of mind for those 40k miles that you intend to pit on it you should be fine as long the car was properly maintained
@@RonsRides my wifey 2019 stelvio is almost 70k running like champion no problem ever always have done the maintenance on time in the dealership and I have extra warranty for just in case moments.
Ron, you have been around and likely driven every model year of the🍀 since it was introduced, so most of your fans will not have the insight that you do on the subtleties of each model year.
Thats very true! There are a lot of owners or people who have spent time under the hood and can give me some great insight moving forward.
@@RonsRides During the last year I owned my 2018 I had an oil change and the mechanic brought to my attention a small oil leak that was going to cost over $10,000 to repair out of warranty. Of course 95% of this was labor cost. I never saw an oil leak in my garage, but the mechanic said I would not know because of the under body tray in place. Maybe to protect yourself, buy a warranty to cover you at least three years. You don’t know what is lurking on the car right now. Maybe this is why the original owner traded it in. My car hobby has burned me a few times and I have learned to be very cautious.
Dont get a qv unless you get an extended warranty. Nothing beats piece mind on a 50k engine
Go for it....I'm looking at a 2019 Stelvio Quadrifoglio with 69k miles....what do you think
My answer is simple, depends on how much you plan on driving it and if the service records are up to par!
Service records are good. Also it's being sold by an Alfa Romeo dealership.
I test drove it today...may be a little Too wild for me😅
Yes
🙌🏾
I have a 2017 Ti so I know that engine (and its issues) like the back of my hand now. Its been 7 years now; any weaknesses of the Quad's motor should be well known by now. I haven't really studied that motor but I also have not heard about any really disastrous issues like Benz piston cracking or Toyota's recent nightmares.
Im glad you havent heard anything crazy, I do want to scroll down in the forums and just see if any red flags pop up!
Very hard to walk away from. What’s the lowest a 2017 will go to ? Not much less. Insist on timing and water pump tho. It’s a beauty. Mileage is below average and if a weekend car it’ll average out better. Check out 911 mileages on older vehicles!
Right, its in great shape besides that rear diffuser, def wondering the story on that and the maintenance records.
Alfa romeo giulia are luxury and affordable compared to Mercedes and BMW
they've already dropped the price more than $1k. is it certified [for at least a year]? Did they perform the 60k service already?
That what I would need to find out if I can make it work then maintenance records are a must!
Get a Stelvio! Lol
I already have an SUV daily!
Nah, The Granturismo MC is still winning
Im still looking!
Plus EVERY alfa romeo car are LEASED not financed
I would pass this one up. Save a bit more for the later years'
