I built a stop shaped like a capitol "E" to put in the bed to the front of the cargo box made out of 2x6's to stop the front tires before the ATV can touch the bed or glass.
Yes, but those nylon straps are too low and they do stretch and the ramp shifts around. My ramps came with non stretchable chains that attach the top end of the ramp tightly onto the tailgate and wrap around the two tailgate cables on each side. No way is the ramp slipping off from the end of the tailgate.
Yes they do, which is why I own a set. You cannot load a riding mower with flat ramps as the deck will hang on the edge of the tailgate. Arched ramps load the cargo at a straighter flatter angle at the top to clear the edge of the tailgate.
First time owning a quad and the first quad you buy is a can am outlander 1000 xmr lmao and cant even load it up on strapped ramps. should of bought a 400 lol
+David Davis I have a Honda 350 fourtrax and have drug moose out of the bush and all kinds of crazy stuff... don't need a 1000cc... especially a kid like that... start with something smaller
He'll get it eventually. I learned the hard way that you can't back one on. My ended up rolling off the ramp with me on it. No damage. Wheeler landed on all fours, and so did I.
+Hunt Guy He probably had to get a friend to help him lol! Probably would have back it down sideways off the ramps and flipped it without them lmao. I feel bad for the xmr!
+dkhill27 i use longer ramps with a lifted truck . but i really never use a 4wheeler on my own . so we just push it up the ramps now . i have a loading dock on a steel building at home now so i can just drive it right on the truck.
My ramps came with chains that attach the top end to the top of the tailgate by wrapping them around the tailgate's support cables on each side. Also drive the ATV up steadily without pausing or stopping until it is all of the way onto the bed. The stopping and jerking are a good way to pull the ramps off of the tailgate and drop it and the ATV backwards over onto the ground. I don't believe that this guy had it in low gear. Mine easily crawls in low gear with barely any throttle at all.
Well you know he'll never take It anywhere to ride he's just going to leave it in their and ride around with it in the truck like he's the greatest rider out there lol
I guess it's go big or go home. It can get expensive buying a smaller cc ride and then out grow it in a few months of constant riding. May be good for the occasional user. It's a shame he's scared of it and has only ridden it once in a while. In a few months I've grown really comfy on my first dirt bike being a 450. Just have to get past the fear and be cautious until you feel comfortable doing certain things like gassing it or wheeling.
Damn, I am on the verge of getting Honda four-wheeler...I am fairly confident I can get it up the ramps....but now I am going to puckering wondering if I can back it off the ramps without spilling.
Really ? If this guy is this scared of the machine, he has no business owning it. People who buy big power simply because they can, when in fact they should be on a 400 or smaller are the ones who end up as statistics...hopefully they don't take anyone with them.
He's a good sport to get videoed, but here's the thing, you have to be able to ride before you can load. But in order to learn to ride you have to load. To help my son I first parked by truck so the ramp was not real steep and he got it right away. On a typical field day I may load/unload 6-8 times and it gets hairy when I am tired and things are wet. Also having a headache rack is good insurance.
fuck thats a huge looking bike, i just stepped up to a 700 grizzly from a old 450 foreman, and that feels like a big difference to me, this thing probably towers over my new grizzly
Well! After forcing myself to watch that, thinking that window was history, I thought the comment section on this should be entertaining, and YUUUP! I was right about that! LMFAO!!
Good job. We all have a first time on everything. Keep safe practicing and you can be as expert as all these other guys out there riding their cool atvs
+ROTAXD h elopes like he's never felt throttle response and is being cautious about how he load you guys talking crap would replacing the back glass on the truck
+cole morrison It's a ATV dude, Not a sports bike, or any other motorcycle. Even though it has a larger and more powerful engine, it doesn't mean it has so much power it's dangerous beyond comprehension. It has 82 HP, which really isn't that much. My 1976 Honda CB750 puts out 79 HP, and it's not scary fast. It's fun. Now if it was a R1, GSXR 1000, CBR1000RR, BMW S1000RR, Hayabusa, ect, then yes, getting a 1000 would be a very stupid decision because those bikes create on average of 179 HP. Even a 600cc sports bikes creates around 130HP. Almost double that Can Am. Plus a bike is much lighter.
WOW what a NEWB! ROFL! im sorry dude but you need to get out in the woods ride hard and learn some skills your as nervous as a baby bunny! you just get on and go lol! Im sure by now you load like a vet!
This guy should have returned it right then if he couldn't get in oh the truck. He's lucky the came out and helped lol my guy handed me the key and walked inside.
BRILLIANT! Another human with more money than brains.
Nothing spoils a Sunday ride quite like the sound of a cracking back glass !!! lol. Take all the time you need dude...
I built a stop shaped like a capitol "E" to put in the bed to the front of the cargo box made out of 2x6's to stop the front tires before the ATV can touch the bed or glass.
I think a nice little trailer is just wheat you need :)
He dosent even know how to back one up, let alone hook one up lol
guys chill out he was learning. I hope he has fun on that thing
+#212 If he can't load the damn thing in the bed of a truck he is possibly dead by now if he even drives the goddamn thing. Money and shit for brains.
CheckEngineLightOn I bet you were a little worried loading your quad if u even are smart enough to start it
+#212 Sounds like your another goddamn genius. Yes i can start it, i can fix it and i can drive it and i sure didn't start out with a 1000cc XMR.
Spends $15000 USD on a 1000cc high performance Can Am, and cant drive it up the ramps.
Probably rich
+Isaac W These kinds of idiots make me sick.
+Isaac W at least he has the money to replace that back window
+CheckEngineLightOn I know
Genius, he was an employee of the dealer...which makes it even worse.
At lest they remembered to attach the ramps to back of the truck.
Yes but it looks like the bumper pipe of the quad is going to touch the rear window before the tires touch the bed wall.
This makes me feel better about my bad life choices.
😂😂 let me know if y'all need more baby milk
Here is a tip on loading, you need to find a ditch and level out the bars it will drive into the box easier
Love That little kid feeling when you just bought it and are afraid to park it!!
But, you think this was bad? Wait until you have to BACK it down the ramps. I think that XMR just became a Garage Girl.
yup, been in his garage for 4.5 months
Been in Garage now for 22 months hasn't been rode sonce
Nice one
I CANT WAIT FOR THE VIDEOS OF HIM ACTUALLY RIDING THIS THING...SHOULD BE PRICELESS
Standing behind the ATV is real smart.
Like a lot of stuff in life - it's a delicate balance of "don't be TOO timid", and "don't be TOO caveman"!😟🤪
Arched ramps facilitate break over angles & less stressful loading.
Yes they do, which is why I own a set. You cannot load a riding mower with flat ramps as the deck will hang on the edge of the tailgate. Arched ramps load the cargo at a straighter flatter angle at the top to clear the edge of the tailgate.
First time camera guy too.
give back 2 minutes of my life!
glad to see he is trying to sell it. people like that have no business on atvs
Holy crap my 10 year old brother can load quads into trucks with ease. This guy has problems
Excels above the rest. Dude is practicing loading and unloading at the same time.
enjoy your new xmr. Sweet machine buddy.
Legend has it he is still trying to load it to this day.
First time I ever did it (11-12 years old) I nailed it. So, if THIS guy can't even do it, I can tell he has a long road ahead of him.
First time owning a quad and the first quad you buy is a can am outlander 1000 xmr lmao and cant even load it up on strapped ramps. should of bought a 400 lol
Well done, great effort for a first time loading.
I'm 11 years old and I've been loading my four wheeler into the truck since i was 8
Quad rider 😂😂😂
@@EXPGAMINGgotteemyou're*
with him having no experience he shouldnt start with something that big.. he is scared to death of it
I agree. I told him several times but he wanted the best of the best. now he's scared of it and only drove it once
hell, I still have my Honda 350.... and perfectly fine with that....
+David Davis I have a Honda 350 fourtrax and have drug moose out of the bush and all kinds of crazy stuff... don't need a 1000cc... especially a kid like that... start with something smaller
+David Davis tell him pass it this way I'll break er in for him
+David Davis wait he only drove it once? Dammm
I bet he doesn't know a single thing about that xmr. Probably just walked in and said "Oh! that one looks nice! I'll take it!"
Send it my dude. Cant act scared going up
He'll get it eventually. I learned the hard way that you can't back one on. My ended up rolling off the ramp with me on it. No damage. Wheeler landed on all fours, and so did I.
The first time I loaded a four wheeler I was 15 and did it by myself. It's not that hard. I wanna see him backing down it though haha
+Hunt Guy He probably had to get a friend to help him lol! Probably would have back it down sideways off the ramps and flipped it without them lmao. I feel bad for the xmr!
i was 8 when i loaded a quad for the first time it was 99 honda 300 and i did it on my own first try.
I'd wear a helmet (if I was that mechanically gifted) 24 hours a day.
First rate camera work, said no one ever! Sheesh!
somebody get this guy a trailer stat!!!!
nice camera work at the end.
Try that on a 8" total lift on 35's. Thats when it gets fun
+dkhill27
i use longer ramps with a lifted truck .
but i really never use a 4wheeler on my own . so we just push it up the ramps now .
i have a loading dock on a steel building at home now so i can just drive it right on the truck.
First time loading ATV?.. How about first time making a video on a cell phone? Geeez.
He should have just eased it up...
it was like loading a spooky horse into a trailer!
Is this guy still alive? I would imagine he killed him self on that quad by now. Classic example of a moron with more money than brains.
He has only rode it once since this video. been sitting in garage for a little over 3 months now. lol
+David Davis you should ride it
+Galaxy Thirst - I did, on his street. Rode it like it should be rode lol
+David Davis haha
+David Davis why buy such and awesome expensive machine if he isn't even gonna ride it?
Kid doesn't belong on a can am, he belongs on a Honda.
Just drive up in the box geeeeez !!! must be a Pollock lol
Cheeeerist Almighty. My 12 year old has been loading/unloading her machine for 2 years. Her first time was far less painful to watch.
Dude i have a truck with an 8" lift on some 37" tires..... Thats when shit gets scary !
+Alexzander Garcia Thats when you just need a trailer
I'm sure he'll do great in the woods
My ramps came with chains that attach the top end to the top of the tailgate by wrapping them around the tailgate's support cables on each side. Fast forward 4 days Tucker is still trying to get on the ramp.
In the words of an immortal, mans gotta know his limitations.. he obviously got no clue..
Perfect example of more money than brains, he needs a 90cc quad
Well you know he'll never take It anywhere to ride he's just going to leave it in their and ride around with it in the truck like he's the greatest rider out there lol
I guess it's go big or go home. It can get expensive buying a smaller cc ride and then out grow it in a few months of constant riding. May be good for the occasional user. this is a first time driver period, doesnt know to break and is very timid
And that is the easiest part :D backing it up is the worst
Damn, I am on the verge of getting Honda four-wheeler...I am fairly confident I can get it up the ramps....but now I am going to puckering wondering if I can back it off the ramps without spilling.
1st times a charm. Good job dude! Ignore all these asshats that think they're the shit. Have fun out there and be safe!
Really ? If this guy is this scared of the machine, he has no business owning it. People who buy big power simply because they can, when in fact they should be on a 400 or smaller are the ones who end up as statistics...hopefully they don't take anyone with them.
this guy shouldn't be anywhere near an atv. he's going to get hurt
lol good luck unloading
He's a good sport to get videoed, but here's the thing, you have to be able to ride before you can load. But in order to learn to ride you have to load. To help my son I first parked by truck so the ramp was not real steep and he got it right away. fuck thats a huge looking bike, i just stepped up to a 700 grizzly from a old 450 foreman, and that feels like a big difference to me, this thing probably towers over my new grizzly
Yea it's bigger than my honda. It weighs 940lbs
Shoulda got a smaller 4 wheeler for his first one for sure. He was scared to death of it
Maybe someone should do it for him next time. lol
Well! After forcing myself to watch that, thinking that window was history, I thought the comment section on this should be entertaining, and YUUUP! I was right about that! LMFAO!!
Good job. We all have a first time on everything. Keep safe practicing and you can be as expert as all these other guys out there riding their cool atvs
u must mean first time on an atv :-)
right
Probably his first time on anything with an engine. The goofball looks like he just hopped the fence from some third world dump.
+ROTAXD h elopes like he's never felt throttle response and is being cautious about how he load you guys talking crap would replacing the back glass on the truck
nice ass quad for a first timer
I remember being 5 years old again.
Full throttle go the man says 😂😂😂😂😂
Best can am commercial ever
Guarantee he hits that back window lol
I liked it because it made me laugh
Why do I feel embarrassed after watching that. It wasn't even me on the bike. good lord.
i was waiting for him to put it threw the rear window.
I know I was nervous the first time but it aint that bloody hard. Has this bloke even been on a quad before?
no, he hasn't
+David Davis Grand idea of his though to buy a *1000 cc* as a new bike...
Horrible throttle control
Lol
Hater, it says FIRST TIME , give him a break at least he made it new guy u fool
did that rear window survive?
That Chevy about took a shit right there like oh no lol
Lmfao! What this guy needs they sell at toys r us.
Who gets a 1000 for the first atv
+cole morrison It's a ATV dude, Not a sports bike, or any other motorcycle. Even though it has a larger and more powerful engine, it doesn't mean it has so much power it's dangerous beyond comprehension. It has 82 HP, which really isn't that much. +nuckin futz , that's not the point, the point is why would u trust someone with no experience with a 15,000$ machine
You got a point there. That guy didn't even know how to use the rear brake...
+Nucken Futz you've clearly never ridden a can am before
lmCIoudz Do I need to? They're all the same.
He can make a atv truck load he is just very careful that atv is expensive doe
The ramp straps should be hooked at the top directly to the tiedown points in the bed so the ramp tops can’t move
This guy likely wears a life jacket in the bath tub too
WOW what a NEWB! ROFL! im sorry dude but you need to get out in the woods ride hard and learn some skills your as nervous as a baby bunny! you just get on and go lol! Im sure by now you load like a vet!
Only drove it once. He is selling it now
ahhh MAN! NEVER GIVE UP, NEVER SURRENDER!
big machine for a newb but just takes seat time..
+Traveling Doc 2016 yeah I mean your loading a xmr 1000 on a half ton.. I'd be nervous myself
it just come with experience i guess probably the FIRST time he drove it period, NOT a good place to start..
He's a little woose I think it's his first time riding too
Some people can't do nothing I tell ya. It ain't that stinkin hard to load a darn ATV on a truck. C'mon.
I know it makes me mad 😂😂
200th like
I think you might want to get a trailer, it will make it 10 times easier for you
He's scared of a trailer too
Wow! A noob that fresh dropped 18K on a quad he clearly has no clue on how to drive. (Head shake)
not 18k try like 12
***** depends on dealer
+Tyler Colby 14,500k
Brand new quad with everything on it is almost 19k
Straight from the horses mouth too (can-am off road says the price I listed)
Wow people like this do not need to own can ams
amen, he should have bought a honda 420cc for his first
probably should have come up with another 900.00 and bought a decent trailor to haul it on.
This guy should have returned it right then if he couldn't get in oh the truck. He's lucky the came out and helped lol my guy handed me the key and walked inside.
lol Did someone run out and buy a huge bike that they are scared of? Hmmmmm?... I bet they did lol
I don't understand whats so scary about loading a quad into a truck? Lol
i remember my first fourwheeler
I'd have trouble too trying to load during an earthquake.
The guy in background looks like walter white
Should start him on 90cc Scrambler.
amen
Nice quad
lain ageh gas...euweuh kawanen
First time i ever did this i had too much speed and bent the back of the bed into the cab. Dont know why this reminded me of that
OK, it was his first quad and first time loading it. so, how is he now???
LMAO, the boy has not loaded it nor drove it in a little over three months from this video. last time he went riding I loaded it into trailer for him
Damn, what a shame....
can you believe that there's people like this in the world and they're allowed to drive a 2-ton truck kind of fucking scary
That poor can am
