This game improved some things about the movie like Venom's appearence and how he convinces sand man of helping him, still has its dumb flaws
Aside from it being out of character for Venom to threaten innocents. Buuuuut, Topher's Eddie was kind of a selfish asshole, so whatever. He does have a fat ass in the game though, so I'll give him that.

@seemago No, this was not an improvement on the story in regards to Venom recruiting Sandman to join him . Sandman, with all his powers, doesn't even attempt, DOESN'T... EVEN...ATTEMPT, to try and fight Venom to save his daughter. Um? Why?....You just see Sandman peel over and just give up for no reason. That was dumb
This sandman adds so much depth to the movie version. Especially with how he initially turns down Venom’s offer because he doesn’t wanna kill spidey. This might honestly be my favorite incarnation of Sandman

Venom in SM3 is not the same as Venom in the comics or even the newer films. It has no personality no emotions nothing, it just makes people angry in the way a virus makes you ill and Eddie in this is pretty bent on getting Peter killed

Of course, considering we're not even sure if that's the real Flint Marko or a sand based copy of his body and memories, the price is, her soul becomes his (you work out the consequences of her body being maintained by a soul that she does not keep close).
I remember seeing the part with Eddie and Flint on the bench which is played differently to how Flint and Eddie first met up in the film but what was different to me was that I didn't think he would exactly threaten to kill his daughter if he didn't cooperate.

Back in the day this is like the best game for me
One pet peeve I always had with the movie venom is he is too scrawny, throughout the years venom has mainly been portrayed as being bigger and more muscular, I like that they kinda took this into consideration for his design in the game.
really thats your 'pet peeve' he doesn't even look bad when he was 'scrawny' in the movie although he wasn't scrawny at all but original he had a more slender and a more creepier design which btw majority wouldve preferred... funny how that works.

its not the typical slimey, gooey look that other iterations of venom have but it's a more twisted version of Bully Maguire's suit since it did connect with him a lot and it passed it on to Eddie but because of Eddie actively wanting to be bad and has nothing to lose anymore (except the symbiote) the venom has its own flare compared to Peters... and if you know about the human sized concept art that made it in the actual suit making of the venom suit then tha suit is meant to be for Peter's if he was bonded to it just a little bit more longer

I really like that, the scene where it bonds with Eddie looks real to this day.
What I also lovd about this Venom is the fact that, as you said, it mimics the web pattern of Tobey's suit, just in a very distorted/erratic way. It's a trait unique to this particular Venom, and it's a shame almost evey other Venom is just black.
I mean, even in the comics it's stated that the Symbiote powers were an impront of Peter's, so it makes sense that it would imitate Spider-Man's suit as well.
If you search online concept art of Venom from the videogame "Spider-Man: Friend or Foe", you'll get the perfect "buff" Raimi Venom!
To this day he remains my favourite design of the character, i don't care what anybody says. I like him so much that just two days ago I purchased online the old Hasbro toy, since I never owned it.
By the way, I dunno if you've seen the news but Marvel just dropped Green Goblin and Doc Ock figures from No Way Home. Hope they give Raimi's Venom a figure as well in the future, maybe with an articulated jaw and tongue!

Venom’s design is much better here and the motivation in getting Sandman to join him is 10x times better than the moment in the film. They definitely improved him quite a bit here. Just swap his voice with his PS2 SM3 voice, and we got the definitive Raimi Venom.

So I'm guessing this venom can't heal its host that got impaled to deep below. I'm guessing the symbiote gotten to weak from the sounds when he fell and both died. I know the tom hardy venom movie is different from how he got healed after he impaled by riot.

This version is extremely weird after seeing the other incarnations of Venom in games.
