- Once you've completed the main story, you can go back through New Game+ as the Black Suit which has different much more powerful attacks. Here's the final mission of the game using the Black Suit against Venom.

its because you only get to wear the black suit again once you’re done with the game. In the actual gameplay you would wear the red one

It is cause this mission was meant to be without the symbiote, but the game didn’t program that.
I always liked the design of Venom in this adaptation, it seems very underrated to me, but if there is something I didn't like it was the voice in the movie, something that the game did well.
I liked the design as well,if only the character as a whole was done justice. He had so much potential but got screwed over by the script and other villains being crammed in. Man I can just imagine how awesome he could’ve become.

I remember in the day when there was basically no internet when I originally played this game and I discovered the way I could do this fight with the black suit. Good times.

How can venom die from a stupid blade when he has healing factor?
Maybe in this universe, venom doesn’t have a healing factor. Anyways, it’s weird how peter didn’t die from that same blade as we just see him standing on top of it if the mission fails.

@@ThomasNichols3Eddie was supposed to be eaten by the symbiote originally, with it being revealed after Peter stabs him with a metal pipe. That's likely why the developers killed Venom this way, they had to work on the game with the original script

This game was actually better than the movie, mostly. Also, this is sort of like how it would go in any scenario: Spider-Man is strong already, but is even stronger with the Symbiote. If he still had the Symbiote and fought Venom (or someone and/or something similar to Venom) I think Spider-Man would win.
In reality,venom is only as strong as normal spiderman,since the simbiote only copied hes abilities,and only improved eddies,making him reach peak human strenght,thats why hes stronger than spiderman,and also with the regeneretion and infinite webs
The only thing in this game that's better than the movie is venom.

Game did not age well. I remember playing it back in the day on my shitty PC in like 20 fps or worse, GPU going crazy that i think something broke in PC but graphics these days were good. I failed many QTE because of low fps XD i would like to see proper playable venom in new spider man, not black costume but proper venom

No True, you cant dodge any of venoms attack in this game because there isnt a spidey sensor indicator.
Just so we are clear as well, The spidey sense doesn't trigger by direct actions of venom, but still triggers by indirect actions and surrounding dangers non related to venom.
Because venom was a part of him, spidey sense can't recognize venom as a danger, The same way Peter actions that are painful/dangerous to himself doesnt trigger it.
Venom isn’t immune to spider sense. He is immune to super fast spider reflexes.
I feel like the games story was written at the time where the story for the movie hadn’t finished yet, so the fate of Harry was left ambiguous by the game staff
Probably but all the Tobey maguire spider man games changed things from the movie ( the spider man 1 game has kraven and the spider bots from the comic the second game had black cat and mysterio this game with Harry)I think they were just following tradition

i knew i wasnt trippin when i thought this game looked good even today i would play this open world game the mechanics were awesome honestly OG spiderman series is still my favorite just off nostalgia, the amazing spiderman 2 is up there for me as a whole🤣💯
I'd say the graphics were kind of average even for the time, but yeah, the gameplay and the open world were great indeed, and I always wondered why this game didn't receive more appreciation for the impressive things it did for 2007. In many ways it's like an unpolished version of Insomniac's game, which took some clear inspiration from it, but all that people seem to remember are the memes and "the QTEs were so hard man," lol

Yeah the Wii version is basically a different game with the same title. It’s still a good time so I’d say give it another go!

In the game, they made the fight easier for Peter unlike in the movie. In the game, Peter was fighting venom like a boss and didn’t even have to worry about sandman. In the movie, he had to worry about both and he almost died by sandman’s punches.

А я так и не прошёл песочного на psp... Толи не прошёл из-за потери чёрного костюма (он в игре придавал дополнительную мощь)... Толи реально было сложно.... А потом вторая часть паука удалила мне все сохранения и я навсегда потерял диск с третьей частью.
