This is great, thanks, and I subscribed. I just came back to golf a couple of years ago, after twenty years away from it. Not surprisingly, at 70, I've lost a lot of distance, and as I age, it will be normal for my yardage to drop quickly from here. I don't particularly want that to happen. ;) I'm in reasonable shape, so my question has been, what exercises do I need to do to gain back a bit of yardage, and to keep from losing any over the coming years. For right now, I'm still struggling to regain my old accuracy, so more distance is a longer term goal, not a current priority. I mean, 20 yards further on a ball into the woods is a ball much deeper into the woods. ;)
Happy to help! I'd still try to gain speed regardless of how bad accuracy is, not to mention the benefits for our bodies off the course. I have a program for those 55+ that many people in their 70's have found great success with. I wish fitness training would fix accuracy, but I have never been told it makes it worse.
@@CodyWescottGolf The older you get, the more importance fitness is, and that includes not only strength, but aerobics, plus flexibility, dexterity, and balance. FWIW, my performance average on drives, per Shotscope, is approaching 227, so I'm doing OK for my age. On the other hand, that's long enough to get into some pretty deep trouble if I hit a pull-hook or a banana slice. LOL
Hello. Just found your channel. Have you done any rotation work with the Whatsthatstrap?
Yes I have! Great accessory tool. 💪🏻
