Thanks for the great video and information. Instead of the arrow-head, can we use some other customised image such as bicycle, aeroplane, car, bus etc.. to make it more interesting? Thanks
Yes you can. You can have multiple animations on the same slide in Keynote and can control the sequence of how they run using the build order. I use multiple animations in thus video Animated Travel Maps in Keynote Version 2 ua-cam.com/video/XIEBSSKbD0M/v-deo.html as an example. I hope this helped to answer your question. Thank you for your interest in my channel.
The animations are created in Keynote after which you can export the animation to a movie to use however you want. I use the movies in my videos just like any other video clip that I have shot with my cameras. I hope this answers your question.
This whole process is done on an Apple computer. All of the programs used to create this animation are built in to the iMac operating system. The images of the maps just come from either Apple Maps or Google, I have used both. Capture the image with a utility called "Screenshot". The program I use to create the animation is called Keynote. Keynote is the Apple equivalent of Power Point. I use Quicktime Player to capture the video and the audio clips. All of the editing of the tutorial presentation in done in Davinci Resolve (available for PC also). I hope this answers your question and thanks for your interest in my channel.
The equivalent software for keynote in the Windows world is Power Point. I have the apple version of PP on my Mac. I have had this question before. I will give it try and get back to you if I have any success. Thanks for your interest in my channel.
Hi. I gave this a try in PP. Superimposing the map works OK but I could not find a comparable tool for drawing the line that would offer the same functionality as is in Keynote. You can draw lines but you cannot modify the curve as we can in Keynote. Sorry I could not be of more help.
Thanks for your comment. I have done tutorials like this using both Apple Maps and Google Maps and so far I have had no complaints. My channel is not monetized so I am not benefiting financially from the videos. Thanks for your interest in my channel. 👍🇨🇦
I am not very familiar with Keynote on the iPad. It is quite different than the desktop version. I have installed on my device and I will play around with it and see what I can find out.
This a good question. I do not have an iPad Pro but I tried it in an iPad Air. You would probably need to have the pencil to do a good job of the lines. Thanks for you interest in the channel.

Thanks for watching my channel.
Hi,
can you please explain and tell me how do you make the Screenshot movie? What program do you use to film all what you are doing on your PC screen?
This whole process is done on an Apple computer. All of the programs used to create this animation are built in to the iMac operating system. The images of the maps just come from either Apple Maps or Google, I have used both. Capture the image with a utility called "Screenshot". The program I use to create the animation is called Keynote. Keynote is the Apple equivalent of Power Point. I use Quicktime Player to capture the video and the audio clips. All of the editing of the tutorial presentation in done in Davinci Resolve (available for PC also). I hope this answers your question and thanks for your interest in my channel.
@@BikeBoatandTravel Thank you very much. It was really helpful :D

Happy you found it useful. Thanks for your interest in my channel.
It there a way i can make this on windows ? I have tried Icloud it doesn't work on that .
The equivalent software for keynote in the Windows world is Power Point. I have the apple version of PP on my Mac. I have had this question before. I will give it try and get back to you if I have any success. Thanks for your interest in my channel.
@@BikeBoatandTravel 😄 +1 Sub and i will wait for your reply 🙋🏻♂️
Hi. I gave this a try in PP. Superimposing the map works OK but I could not find a comparable tool for drawing the line that would offer the same functionality as is in Keynote. You can draw lines but you cannot modify the curve as we can in Keynote. Sorry I could not be of more help.
@@BikeBoatandTravel no problem bro , thanks for your efforts
Do we not get copy right issues with this if we use it in UA-cam videos ? Like we get in Google maps?
Thanks for your comment. I have done tutorials like this using both Apple Maps and Google Maps and so far I have had no complaints. My channel is not monetized so I am not benefiting financially from the videos. Thanks for your interest in my channel. 👍🇨🇦
How do you zoom in or zoom out with a Screenshot Map ...... ?
Mine is kinda fixed and has no movement.
Is your question referring to after you bring the screenshot into Keynote?
good thank you
Welcome 😊
How can I use the insert in iPad?I can't find it there
I am not very familiar with Keynote on the iPad. It is quite different than the desktop version. I have installed on my device and I will play around with it and see what I can find out.
Can you do it same on iPad pro
This a good question. I do not have an iPad Pro but I tried it in an iPad Air. You would probably need to have the pencil to do a good job of the lines. Thanks for you interest in the channel.
