Nice to see you away in the new caravan, we put up our Isabella 400 for the first time just last week, fabulous awning and fits our Bailey Valencia perfectly, we didn’t need a heater as the weather in Cornwall was SCORCHIO 🌞🥵 for the whole holiday, hope you get good weather too , the heater does look posh though. The ground sheet you have is it a Isabella

We've got the Draftstoppa, really quick and easy bit of kit. I like the look of that rotating heater too, plus in Trewethett, as it rotates, you're a little lighthouse doing your bit for maritime safety. Great vlog as always mate, great to see you back in a 'van 👍
Graham it’s good to see you did the same as us on the first trip. Our shelf was in 3 pieces after putting the milk in. I checked out the price and thought sod it. Glad it’s all working 👍
Nice to see you guys finally out in the Caravan. You can fit the Draught Stopper with the locks on, but it can be a bit fiddly and does not sit as nicely. I stick the wheel locks on the other side. Has Morten-in-Marsh gone down hill much. We haven't been for a couple of years but we're planning on maybe going Christmas/ New Year.
Not sure if you have Kids but as grandperants last week we got our sons FISHER PRICE tape recorder out the loft. So 28 years old and it still works fine.

Graham, I think we are on our 4th fridge door shelf during the 4 years we've had the caravan. The first mishap was the upper shelf broke and the contents dropped and took the lower one out. When I enquired at a caravan dealership about buying replacements they said they are about 30 odd pounds each, after picking myself up from the floor I mentioned the caravan wasn't 12 months old, they said put in a claim with the suppling dealer. I did and had them replaced foc.
Glad all is well. Can empathise regarding passing the crash scene ... I do the same southbound on the A90 where a woman side swiped my previous van in 2017.
Really pleased to see you out amongst it once more Graham, getting used to doing what ICVs should be doing… 👏🏻 Just remember, imho, one cannot leave too much of a gap matey… ✅
And as for the fridge..... 1. The moulded "lugs" the fridge door shelves slide on to...... One of them snapped off. Had to Araldite it back on. Not very easy as the skin of the inside of the fridge door, lined with foam, is VERY thin plastic. Came off again after a year or two so I had to do it again this week. 2. A few years back, I think on a trip to Northumberland, I obviously forgot to lock the fridge door after filling with food & drink. Got to the other end and obviously the door had opened during the journey. Amazingly the shelf had obviously jumped off the lugs (only time that has ever happened), and it was on the floor in the middle of the caravan, maybe 6 feet away from the fridge. But the milk, bottle of wine etc were still in position on the shelf, unspilt and looking as if the shelf had been taken out for a photo opportunity! No damage, no mess, and the fridge door had shut itself (though not locked itself). As if the shelf and it's contents had playing (like "Toy Story,") when the owner was out of the room.
Thanks for watching. On the awning floor? It’s an “outdoor rug” from Home Bargains about 20 quid. Same sort of material as the Kampa carpet. Not wool like plastic.. more expensive elsewhere cheapest was at Home Bargains
Could you please tell me the length of your awning? we have ordered the same model caravan for pickup next year. We are not planning to change our awnings.
Hi Graham I hope you don't mind me asking but who were you insured with? I've got quotes for Ripe insurance which are much cheaper than other quotes I've had - do you have any feedback on them ? Thanks

I was just shocked at the price ripe have quoted me it seems too good to be true. However their reviews are really good and their connections with ariva give me more confidence like you said. What's that saying- if something is looks too good to be true......
We also have that mat, Aldi wasn’t it, but we will only use it on hard standing. Regards the beer I drink Guinness which I don’t chill and San Miguel which I keep in a cool box and change the freeze packs every day. And yes we have a Bailey and think the EHU awning side is a stupid idea. Would be nice if someone from Bailey was following your blog. But I think the main problem is that the battery is under the bed.
Out of interest did you have the car’s towbar checked out following the bump? RE the demons, I had a bump on a roundabout where someone hit me, and I was the same, nervous about it happening again. I found I’d avoid going that route for quite a few years…
What did the person who ran into your caravan say How did he manage to run into your caravan its not as if its not big enough to see We had a person run into side of our caravan but only damage was the hinge on the battery box There was more damage to his car all on wheel arch He tried overtaking us on mini roundabout leading to 1 Lane traffic Tried blaming us until we showed him cameras Couldn't belive he tried overtaking us on roundabout we never felt a thing but what a mess his car wheel arch was In end he said he put his foot down to try to overtake us
Someone hit the van behind me so he was pushed into me. The other driver confirmed this, very apologetic, but really annoying. Hope yours was resolved quickly. Thanks for watching

We had an 8000 series fridge, and broke door bins. Dometic supplied replacements under warranty. Maybe worthwhile checking if yours are covered

I’m insured through Cover4caravans. I don’t know much about ripe TBH. They say they are underwritten by Aviva insurance
