Lovely, lovely top the colours are really pretty I also like the jeans I think I have that pattern 🤔 you are getting well prepared a head of autumn which really all said and done is not that many weeks away ...where has the summer gone 😮 I'm still waiting for it😂😂😂. Looking forward to the next video thanks Dianne for sharing. Susan🌺🌼🌸... Oh love the top you have on.
Hi Susan, I know what summer? I don't think I have really sat out with a book this year as soon as I have had a minute the sun has gone in! Oh well embrace the seasons. The top is in inky grove viscose jersey and the pattern was a burda one but I have changed it a few times as it was too baggy. ☺
Your makes are beautiful. I really love your tops and your fabric choices. I haven't tried any big 4 patterns, I usually go for indie patterns. I'm tempted to try that top 😆
I've made that top a couple of times myself. I find it a really comfortable wear. I'm still a bit nervous to try making jeans yet, although I would like to do so. I'm busy still thinking about summer as we are travelling over the other side of the world for a couple of months during our winter, to visit family and I am expecting (at least hoping) it will be considerably warmer with their summer than ours has been, so although I agree it is getting cooler, I just can't get my head around what I should make for here before I go for our autumn. I've just a couple more things to make and then no doubt with the cooler south Yorkshire weather, I will be scrambling to make something warmer. Your top and jeans look great
Hi Sharon, that sounds exciting and great that you will actually get a bit of summer. I feel we have really missed out this year just a few very hot days then that was it, blink and you missed it. I do have a number of summer dresses that have not been worn much so I am easily slipping into the warmer makes ideas while at the same time hoping for more sun yet! Enjoy your travels. ☺
Hi, good goal as it is all too easy to fall into the dresses making from all the patterns that are out there and go in your wardobe on a cool day and reach for the same jeans. I am trying to make more practical things sometimes but I still do love a dress. 😄
Thank you it was originally a burda pattern but i have changed it quite a lot as it was wide necked and baggy so I took it apart and remade it. The fabric is called inky grove from Minerva.
Hi Anne, it started out as a Burda top pattern but I have changed it since it was too wide at the neck, a baggy style and a big drop shoulder. I took it apart and re-did it my way. ☺
Very pretty makes❤❤❤
Thank you Brenda☺

Suzanne
Hi there, glad you are feeling inspired.☺
I really like the New Look top and both fabrics are lovely. You did a great job constructing the top and jeans!
Thank you☺

Hi. I really like the New Look tops you made. The fabric is very nice for both tops. Jeans look great too. Have a nice day.
Hi Rose, thank you☺
I’ve made and really like NL 6543. My goal is to make wearable pants this year. Very nice autumn outfit

The top and the jeans both look great.
Thank you Gillian. ☺
Interesting to see the lower pocket position. I like them higher myself so I don't sit on it if objects in back pocket
Hi, I never use my pockets they are purely decoration😀maybe the odd tissue but that is usually a distaster in the wash😂
Love your makes. I've made the top , I really like it. The jeans turned out really well. Look forward to seeing your next autumn makes. Thank you 🎉
Hi Bridget, thank you the top is very simple isn't it. ☺
@Dianne-ut5vr Hi Dianne, yes, it is, but this allows you to fiddle with to alter it's look easily.
love the jeans!
Thank you Linda, I hope they keep well over the months. ☺
Like the blue patterned t shirt you’re wearing- what pattern is that?
Thank you it was originally a burda pattern but i have changed it quite a lot as it was wide necked and baggy so I took it apart and remade it. The fabric is called inky grove from Minerva.
What pattern is the top you are wearing in the video?
Hi Anne, it started out as a Burda top pattern but I have changed it since it was too wide at the neck, a baggy style and a big drop shoulder. I took it apart and re-did it my way. ☺
