thanks for speaking up about this and the points u have raised, esp how such mockery and “playful roleplay humour” may in fact induce social stigma- i think this method of social moderation of comments like you and the tiktok gal speaking up is needed to articulate and educate such implications, esp when the impact of it can’t be seen through a single comment (to be reported). this might be a running joke to a bunch who, most often did not know better and had not considered this properly!
the comments saying it’s just jokes or ppl r just being sensitive are part of the problem and contribute to the poor stigma against those facing mental health issues. we all should do better.

Come on la. I have genuine mental health issues. I suffer from depression, and anxiety. It’s funny.
