Corey Walsh’s bike is built to go fast…and get loose. His new Cult / Odyssey build is easy on the eyes and as solid as it comes. We strayed away from a traditional bike check and mic’d up Corey while the crew heckled him for a half hour. ha. Hit play and enjoy.

Those source bike checks with van are cool and informative but I gotta say I prefer this style bike check. Just loose and relaxed. Both are needed but keep these up
I second this thought, personally I’m a big bike nerd so I prefer the source ones (love broc’s and Dan Lacey’s cause of how in depth they went) but like you said these are so much different and the candid mic’d up style is equally as good
I don’t enjoy filming or editing bike checks, so I want to make them as non-conventional as possible when they do happen. There’s a place for both styles, of course. Glad you enjoyed it!

He's 100% right on metal pedals... I ride XC mountain bikes clipped in and there's less movement on freshly replaced metal pins (the short ones) in skate trainers than in my clips
