    Nice radio, looks clean!
I purchased mine in 1976 and quickly found out that I already owned that radio, a Comstat 25B, just that the channel selector knob was different. Lafayette put the infamous "Clown Nose" knob on it (and changer some of the tubes due to supply changes) and called it the Comstat 35. The best of the Comstat radio line, IMHO< was the Comstat 25A which had the neat feature of having a switch on the back to change from 5 watts down to 100 milliwatts.
I still have the three radios, all working, as well as the Comstat 23 radios and the Comstat 25.
The 35 is a great radio, I (and many other CB'ers of the time) didn't like the "Clown Nose" knob.
