That was one great manouver at Minute 28. Bet the cops had a ball with all three of your trucks at that point. Ya done good Lucky! Thanks for the show.
I love your videos because they are so interesting and take me away from an otherwise world with too many news-notable problems and violence. Your videos are fresh and uplifting.
Good morning Doug. You said in the intro you had already seen this so you were going fishing but we all know you had lived it, filmed it, and edited it. So you deserved to go fishing to relax while we enjoyed all of your hard work with you and your teams. Safe travels out there and try to keep the four wheelers from ruining your day. Love seeing your driving skills with the large loads.
An interesting trip with lots of challenges and tight spots. Congrats on the 10K subscribers...... you do a fantastic job of recording with the variety of camera angles and your great editing. You show well that there is way more to your job than meets the eye.

Surprising that it works as well as it does actually. Sometimes we look like a well oiled machine but the truth is we switch out team members almost every day for different reasons. But we come together and still manage to get it done. Of course sometimes you get a new team member who isn’t up to par but the bad ones only make you appreciate the good ones!

Just starting to watch the video, and I'm really impressed. Escort and police vehicles on the ground and F-18s in the sky. Go for it😅. The part where the guy in black is touching the part of the gooseneck, loved the maroon/purple car, fell in love with it, but couldn't he just wait? So three in convoy. Sounds like Rubber Duck 10-4😅😅😅. Can't believe the idiot, who is a fellow truck driver, forcing his way through on the inside of you
A big part of these move is what you don’t see on camera. The trip planning. Because we have a specific route to follow and because these trucks are too big for some truck stops it can be a challenge. A lot of times we will disconnect at a rest area and bobtail to the nearest truckstop for fuel.
Often oversize loads are not technically allowed to run close together. They prefer we disrupt traffic for numerous short periods of time. The trucks were no more than 15 minutes apart for the majority of the trip.
@@bobderemer5015 making sure the teams have distinct channels would clear any radio issues. although the separate channels also detracts from the benefits of the teams being together.
IF I were a customer, In very rough numbers, what would a haul like that cost with all permits, police, pilot cars, etc.? (Acknowledging the competition and probable cost variations between them).
It's doubtful even if Douglas had the numbers that his boss would be happy with them being made public. you can always ask your local police what they would charge for the escort of a load, then you will get an idea.

Often oversize loads are not technically allowed to run close together. They prefer we disrupt traffic for numerous short periods of time. The trucks were no more than 15 minutes apart for the majority of the trip.
Also has less issues with radio bleedover and each load has their own time to manipulate obstacles I imagine.
