Streaks and blotches. I just sprayed a colorshift pearl and got some streaks. I adjusted the gun PSI down a few and the second coat covered it better. I was spraying it in the clear coat too which a lot of people don't do. But I needed to make all mistakes now on my test hood panel. What do you do with pearls to avoid streaks and blotches? I sprayed it at 30 PSI then toned it down to 27 PSI the second coat which was a little better with a 1.4 tip.
Do you use 4:1 or 2:1 clears are you reducing you clearcoat are you adding reducing your frist sec or coats of clear...or spraying clearcoat and harder only..no reducer.
What cap did you use on prolite? It's hard to compare using a gun with just one type of cap. Prolite has HVLP, LVLP, conventional and hybrid I have great results with a high solids clear using LVLP T110 cap 1.3 tip lays out flat.
I have a car no one in my area not even Maaco will touch. It’s a 2013 Smart Fortwo passion hardtop. I want to tackle it myself then but I have three turbine sprayers only. Is it same concept? I never sprayed a car yet. Thinking sanding with 180,320,400 then spraying it. Going from red to pink.

In the video you say your using a thick clearcoat on the second coat... so are your using 4:1 on the frist coat and 2:1 on the other coats
