I love watching you gazing out of the window at the scenery. I use to do that when we had our van. We have been without a motorhome for 12 months while we wait for our new one to be built. We pick it up in less than 48 hours! We are so excited and I will think of you when I get to a nice spot and get to gaze out. Thanks for keeping me going for the last 12 months!

Scotch Pies, minced Mutton, my Grans/Mum used to make Shepheards Pie with Lamb. Never run across a Scotish Pie before so, I gugled it. Looks allright, there a maker in Nth Geelong. Love the Church on the left on the way in to Porpatrick. Well the Mitsubishi on the right isn't parked on double yellow lines but they are white. Learned that from the Sweeney😂Intriguing the house behind the wall on the water. Good stuff m8s, keep up the good walk, stay vertical Eh!

Thanks for the tour around Portpatrick. I visited briefly in 1999 with a friend before we set off to hike the Southern Upland Way, a 200 mile hike to Cockburnspath on the north coast, which starts at Portpatrick. It was one of the most memorable experiences but we never had time to look around the town properly, so it was great to see it. Love your videos. 🙂
Some glorious skies and reflections there. So lucky with the weather. Loved the derelict buildings on the harbour at Port Patrick. Don’t mention naan bread. Graham’s trying to be good! I have been watching your journey through North Wales and Was interested in your comment about criticism of your driving tips. When I first got my licence in NSW I enrolled in an advanced driving course run by the NSW police. My instructor was a senior constable ORourke who was a Garuda in Ireland who came to Australia on holiday and liked it so much he emigrated and joined the police force here. He was a stickler who told me near enough is not good enough. I have never forgotten his first words never trust the other driver to do the right thing, be vigilant. His lessons have stayed with me in nearly 50 years of driving and in that time I have never had an accident or a speeding ticket. Police tips are the best.
It’s not just Scotland delivering,the pair of you do too. That walk with the drop either side and the rickety old hand rail put me on edge, same as the drops from the castle but it was still good to watch.Thanks for the effort u put in to your videos, I really like them.🩷🫶🏻

You guys need to visit the Scottish Borders. So much history with Royal Burghs. Lots of Abbeys, castles etc and outstanding scenery. Jedburgh has 2 car parking places which are free. X😊

I came over to Scotland on the ferry from Ireland after visiting and loved Ireland and we went to London and we went and stayed in the cotswolds which I loved ….i am really enjoying your travel videos and love watching what you are cooking 💛

Portpatrick is one of my favourite places . We holidayed there maybe 10 times until my brother passed away .The Crown Hotel has a very fine restaurant with seafood second to none .Galloway is such a peaceful area of Scotland
One of my labradors suffered an adder bite in Galloway. Touch and go for a while but she survived . The vet said if she had been a small dog it could have been a different story . Be careful in the long grass
It's was the same here ferries and ships are limited now approaching Belfast giving big wash behind them. A few people, out for innocent walk on the beach were washed out to sea. There was an agreement reached ships have a lower speed now on the approach. We have many cruise ships these days it's a busy place.
I wanted to get a van once I retired, travel NZ, a recycled hippie.. Didn't work out that way , Im raising grandsons instead. So... now I live vicariously through these two.😊
Butteries need to be warmed and then smothered in butter and syrup! 😋 They were sent on fishing trawlers, hence the high salt content to preserve them for longer. Enjoy! 😊

The lovely weather continues. This really is a beautiful little corner of Scotland, overlooked by so many people rushing for the Highlands, including myself until a couple of years ago. Great watch, cheers 👍🐸
We do have a lot of indian restaurants here in Norway. But they often serve their dishes with no spices. Probably because they often get complaints from Norwegian customers that the curry is too spicy. The basic Scandinavian food is not very much rich in flavours. If you travel to Norway, try the west coast. The food here is very much shellfish and lots of different types of fish. We also have fish n chips here. They usually serve it with garlic aioli, not with green peas and curry. Unfortunately there are no ferries from the UK to Scandinavia. You need to travel here by sea from Holland. There is one ferry left, the "bacon ferry" from Immingham to Esbjerg in Denmark, but they stopped private travels a few years ago. The bacon ferry from Denmark supply most of the UK with bacon.
@@thomasraden3793 we were lucky the ferry was running from Emshaven to Kristiansand when we visited Norway in 2022. We are hoping they start up a ferry service again from the UK to Scandinavia 😀

@@thomasraden3793 we were lucky the ferry was running from Emshaven to Kristiansand when we visited Norway in 2022. We are hoping they start up a ferry service again from the UK to Scandinavia 😀

Thanks for this interesting video, all the small towns on the sea front look like ghost towns!!! the drone footage was lovely, the climb up to the ancient castle was well worth it!!! Can't help but imagine how very difficult it mus have been to live there so very long ago!!!!

Often they are empty but we carry them so we can shed clothing layers. I also somewhere waterproof to hide my cameras if we encounter heavy rain.
