Greetings from Portugal, Toooon forever thanks to Shearer and Sir Bobby Robson he was manager of my town club FC Porto . Many thanks for this wonderful tour !
If you want to see a decent statue (or 3!), you should pay a visit to Portman Road. Such a good tour. Proper history and the ground is pretty much untouched for years.
For a relatively modest-sized club Ipswich has a fascinating history. My first visit to Portman Road was when the east stand had just been finished (the one where the away fans sit) in the mid-70's. I think that stand is looking pretty tired now but it does the job. I was at school during Robson's heyday but what makes me really proud of the club is the 1961-62 league title winning side which came from obscurity and gave football a shock. Jackie Milburn was manager of Ipswich for a short spell.
Thanks for the tour and just subscribed to your channel. As a g long suffering Geordie of the club with nothing won and to cheer about since the old Fairs cup in 1969. Could this be our time as the richest club on the planet now and at last give the Geordie nation something to shout about. We've had a stadium and the great support for a long time now we only need a team good enough to win some silverware. I see you have lots of videos to watch and should keep me busy for awhile cheers.
I'm dropping a comment here simply because look how far my fantastic football club has came since you paid a visit 2 years ago! hopefully you pay a visit this season with a totally different feel to the club!
Done this before St James a couple years back great to bring back some memories of doing it. Thanks for your video. Just subscribed can’t wait for the future content
St James' Park is one of those stadiums that you don't have to be an NUFC fan to enjoy the tour. There are statues of Sir Alf Ramsey and Sir Bobby Robson outside Ipswich Town's ground. I was on a course in a conference suite that overlooked the Bobby Robson statue which had been unveiled the week before. There was a steady stream of onlookers, including one bloke who picked up his dog so it could get a proper look.
Again Top class video man really love this stadium you’re videos always cure my Boredom even though I’m not always bored this Just makes my day love stadium tours except park head and the rest of the Scottish league but yeah I support rangers so I liked the ibrox tour 🤣Thanks for taking minutes or hours (days) making videos for us.😃😃
You're welcome mate, thanks for the support lately I really do appreciate it and it helps the channel grow! Hopefully I can keep on making videos you enjoy. Thanks again mate! New video coming Wednesday next week :)
That old skool classic Geordie accent @2:45 unfortunately that specific Geordie accent much like the Northumbrian accent is dying out and being replaced with Mackem sounding toon supporters
It's on my list I'm just waiting for them to restart their tours! A lot of clubs still haven't started them back up after covid but as soon as it's on I'm there! Thanks for watching
It would be great if you get an opportunity to come back for a match now that all the Sports Direct sh*te has been removed and now that Wor Flags are back in the stadium.

As an American fan of the Magpies who will probably never get to see a game there, thank you for this

Thanks for watching mate! The tour was class, gotta get here for a game!
The slightly slanted pitch kills my OCD😂
To be honest the facility and technology is better than my old trafford
That old skool classic Geordie accent @2:45 unfortunately that specific Geordie accent much like the Northumbrian accent is dying out and being replaced with Mackem sounding toon supporters

Looks like 2 seperate stadiums glued together. Totally lop sided.
Newcastle has a beautiful stadium. Just a terrible team right now 😂😂🤣
Stadium is amazing! I hope the team can return to where they belong!
