    We don't have oil burners here in Texas so it was nice seeing your video on how it works. Your video skills are next level for sure. Thanks for the video.

    Riello burners are a high end burner, when set up right ,serviced regularly either gas or oil they will work properly, nothing wrong with a direct vent set up. Good job on that one Steve

    Nice one, Steven. The kneeling doesn't bother me but bothers some customers with bad knees. I have a couple customers who made me take their knee pad. They kept telling me, you need a pad. I'm like, why not. It does help. Baby taking a personal day. She earned it.

      i personaly do not have a issue with my knees . at all so i do not think of it unless i am doing a lot of cralling in a crall space then i will use the knee pads only makes good sence

    Steve great job on this buddy. You're becoming a great cameraman. You should make your own movie based on burners and boilers and call it "Make New Mama"

    Great video Steve, Riellos seem to be ah, different. Anybody who has worked with oil heat, can appreciate those gloves.

    Have you ever had a solenoid cable breakdown I am from England and have a nuway burner changed the controller nozzle filters pump but it appears the solenoid is not powering up ?

    Hmm, I would be inclined to come up with a way of burning the waste oil in that "Twin Turbo Double Gundy Incineration Station" you have out in your yard.... Ya know... the more BTUs the better right?

    Nice job Steve!... I tried to bleed my Riello 40 F5 by jumping 5 & 6 but the motor didnt run like it did here. I assume now from seeing this video, its cause the boiler wasnt calling for heat?

    • @stevenlavimoniere
      @stevenlavimoniere  8 років тому

      yes turn up the tstat and if the boiler is calling for heat it will run .and you can shut it off at service switch on boiler . to work on it . 5&6 will just run motor so you can blead it good with out it shutting off

    What the heck was that , steve , a pressurized replacement charge , like co2 , never seen one before like that , is it specific to blow out plugged lines , this guy has every tool in the book.

    • @potatolew4495
      @potatolew4495 4 роки тому

      Yes that is a co2 purge tool, they are available in any HVAC supply house. Don't go to home Depot or other box stores looking for one as it would be like finding the golden ticket. If you have a HVAC supplier that is open to the public or a plumbing store surley they will be able to help you.

    looks like you are starting to get some heating calls already
    so if an oil company filles one tank all the junk will get pushed into another tank?

    • @stevenlavimoniere
      @stevenlavimoniere  8 років тому

      file one tank and it will equilize so both tanks have the same amount in them .through equilizing line between tanks the muck should end up in filter and get changed out once a year

    Have you had to take care of an oil furnace that had puff back?

  • @Guyhakverdi
    @Guyhakverdi 8 років тому

    Steve, I thought only 90+% AFUE appliances can be direct vented. So this boiler I assume is 80% correct? So is it ok in your state to direct vent 80% appliances? Btw excellent work!

    • @stevenlavimoniere
      @stevenlavimoniere  8 років тому +1

      no oil boilers have direct vent units and are probley 86% or so effencent 80 + i believe your better off with a chimney and regular boiler in my oppion .this type of unit smell and fumes out side in that area can be a issue with a chimney the fumes get relieced up in the air less chance of smell fumes ect. i guess there is draybacks on every unit .
