Enjoyed the tour and updates. Pleased you haven't got a Crafter, my list would just keep growing. Our refit is still on going. Yes your question is? The answer many times is what the hell I have started.
Hi Colin. as always thank you for the fab information and fun filled videos we so look forward to Fridays. looking back as we always do through your previous videos the SPRING CLEAN one about 12 months ago I think we noticed your pressure hose looked smaller than most that are about but we couldn't make out the name on it ....... can you help with that please ? thank you keep the great entertainment coming please and of course the content speaks for itself. Happy Days. all the very best Jill 🤣🙋♀x
Hiya, thats awesome and no worries at all... glad to be of help. The pressure washer was given to us by our in laws and there isn't a brand anywhere on the unit... I think it was a cheapish one though... sorry I don't know...
Hey Colin, as for cab lighting and to save us from the issue you (and we have) had, switched them off. We have not had that issue again since, but saved others, using the very same gadget you got, to prevent hrs waiting, for a 60s job...lights are ace though!!
Very interesting video - I think you are very brave dismantling bits of your van. Love seeing all the things you do to it, mood lighting impressive. I’m glad I didn’t bother getting a bonnet protector. Stay well and safe.
Hey Colin, as I have now heard you say so many times, the reference to the 'don't know what to put in that compartment', I just had to tell you what we've put there, hoping that the gazillion of your other fans will also provide their uses. We used it to house our Audison Bit One Controller unit. Looks ace, as you might say👍. Hope to see ya at Camper Jam.
You’ll get the marks on your bonnet out easily with a dual action machine polisher. I use a Das6 Pro v2, a light compound would sort it. A wee glaze then wax.
Hahaha thanks Tim... no technicals here 🤣🤣! Yeah I realised after I'd uploaded the video, then watched another video where they called them A Pillars 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 ooops
Cols velvet disco inferno boudoir. No issues with the Crocs - My pair are bright red, a true Boro fan... 😂 I carry a Marshall bluetooth speaker when I am travelling, as its got more umph than the standard VW unit and speakers. Plus i can use it when parked up, and linked to whatever music app you like its a real travelling gem. A few tidy upgrades added there, looking good on the van, and nice to see that plasticoat stuff in real world use.
Hi Colin at first I thought you were having Bacon as a reward 😅 I would use Velcro tape on your front mats and on the steps. Better if anything spills and runs under. You can easily remove them but no movement. I also prefer the stretch bibs that cover a little more. Less likely to leave marks. The new headlining is a much better match for your seats and suits the van colour a lot more. Don’t get surface mount tweeters go for in pillar or co-axial on your mid units.
Haha Michelle said that too.... 🤣🤣! We tried velcro previously (could have been cheap stuff though, you know me 🤣) and they kept falling out so I short of screwing them in 🤣 stapling was the next best option :) Stay awesome matey
@@Yorkshirepoptopadventures you can get cheap tapes but look for ones that use 3M adhesive. Same for all adhesive pads and stick on hooks, it’s only the adhesive that matters just look out for the 3M. You can also get high strength double sided adhesive carpet tape which we used on the rugs on a tiled floor, prevents doggy from slipping. Great for keeping mats and trim in place. Also for felt lining door pockets and drawers to stop rattles.
I’m sure it’s not an issue on your van 🤞 but be careful covering the A pillars if you have airbags behind them. Same for the roof liner if you have curtain airbags. Love the video, vast improvement on the 4 way stretch.
Hi Colin, I love your videos. I just wanted a bit of advice. I am a real dinosaur when it comes to tech, but I would really like to know of a decent camera that is idiotproof as well 😂 but not too expensive. Many thanks Julie 😊
Hey, thank you! Re: cameras, you can't go far wrong with Sony, lightweight and super easy to use. Have a look at the Sony A6400 (with the kit lens to start with) and you can literally use it as a point and shoot in auto or if you're feeling brave, try some of the manual functions... try grabbing a used one from MPB Photographic as that'll make it a bit cheaper too ;)
Another brilliant video, can I ask, did you under coat the side step before spray painting or cleaned and spray paint? Just before I do mine thought I'd ask, thanks col x
Thank you, after reading the tin it says that it didn't need a primer so I just whacked it on and it went on beautifully... ill update after a while to see how it's doing
Hate crocs, I think that they look rubbish, but..........I have a pair which get worn nearly every day, coz they are so practical and easy to use, so after resisting for years, I finally crossed over to the dark side and bought some. Does that make me a bad person? 🤣🤣
Love your videos…..but all Crocs should come with a free T-shirt with the slogan “I’ve given up on life, and all I want to be is comfortable” in big letters on the front🫣

I used trimfix spray glue on my side and door steps carpets. Absolutely perfect 👌🏽

Love these DIY vids. Very productive mate 👍
Fab work as always Colin! I always wandered how the mats stay on.

Nice mods there and it’s looking awesome! Have a lovely weekend - all the best, David 👍

A Pillars. 😉
A are the ones at the front. B are the next set from the front (the one your seat belt anchor is on), then C, etc.
We dont come here for technicals 😜
@@timvarley8589 Lol 😂.
Perfect response.

A solid DIY session in crocs Colin! :)
The only way mate 🤣🤣
You had me at "Sticky mess".......
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Like the step upgrades and new mats, not sure I would staple in place, would Velcro not be better for ease of cleaning.
“The, I do t know what to put in there, compartment!” 😂😂😂😂
I agree - I love crocs!
Removing the steps “these came out pretty easy as all the clips were missing”. Story of my life on my old caddy
Haha the clips are literally one time use 🤣🤣🤣
Great video, but I think you missed a bit when you were cleaning 😂

Our bonnet protector came with little rubber feet to stop it rubbing on the bonnet did your new one have these

Yeah it's not an issue on mine but great advice for anyone reading this that does have them though:)
Crocs rock 😊
Great vid but you set all our Alexa’s off 😂😂😂😂
Hahaha ooops 🤣🤣

@Yorkshirepoptopadventures great Colin, thank you so much. And take care.
Thanks
Ah legend thank you
You meant to use paint protection tape Doh!!!! LOL
Would helicopter tape help to prevent the rubbing and damage on the bonnet from the protector.
Hi, Yorkie boy, if they are b pillars where do you think the a posts are? From the front, in order a, b, c.!!
Haha I realised after I uploaded, corrected it in the description 🤣🤣🤣

@Yorkshirepoptopadventures thanks so much, spray paint on order and new carpet..thank you for your videos, your tips and advice have helped me a lot!
Awesome and no problems at all... remember to prep area well by giving it a good scrub and degrease...
Can i ask where you got the suede from? Keen to do the same in my van. Great video btw
Hey buddy, can't remember off the top of my head but I think there is a link in the description to the exact stuff I bought :)
My lights have just come on in the living room 😂
🤣🤣🤣
You should have worn a bonnet too 👍🏻
Oh my! I didn’t turn off now he’s wearing Cycling gear! 😂😂
Sorry about that 🤣🤣
I had the same one and it marked my bonnet 😥
Bit ironic something designed to protect ACTUALLY causes more damage than not having it😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Just before I turn the video off due to the crocs, is your jumper in the first shot from Tesco? 😂
Hahaha no matey, it's from TK Max I think...
We didn't get to see the crocs!!
When I put the headliner down on the floor after taking it out, you get a glimpse 🤣🤣
Hate crocs, I think that they look rubbish, but..........I have a pair which get worn nearly every day, coz they are so practical and easy to use, so after resisting for years, I finally crossed over to the dark side and bought some. Does that make me a bad person? 🤣🤣

Before I watch your video no they are not. If I ever see you out in them your getting mugged off your crocs 😅
🤣🤣🤣🤣
👍🏼🛠🚐
Use a bonnet bra instead!!!
