- To say I was wowed by this camp spot is an understatement, I absolutely LOVED it and I hope you guys enjoy this weeks video as much as I did staying at this campsite...
It might not be to everyone's taste, but this fit my "almost perfect" ideal when it comes to campsites... You'll see...

I love the campsite. It goes to prove that simple is best.
Sounds cheap buts its actually very expensive. For a family with 2 kids over 12 and 2 dogs it’s £58 a night! I use lots of comparable sites for £18-25 per night. Some in North Wales are a tenner.

Brill simple peaceful site Mr C 😁You were right when you said I’d want this on our list to visit! - loved the way you kept the overdubs to a minimum to enhance the peaceful feel of the place…anyone would think you knew what you were doing!!! 😂

We also have one of the ground protectors , don’t take up lots of space in the van ;-) You can’t beat a good fire whilst camping :-)

Thanks for another balanced and informative review for the likes of me with a campervan. One thing that would be helpful during your campsite reviews and when you're describing the site facilities, price etc, would be to mention the opening times of the site, ie is it open all year, only March to Sept etc etc. Spoiler alert, I found out that Seatoller closes after the first week of October

Hi Colin, I just want to say that your videos are an inspiration mate. I have been following your journey for a while now and decided to give it a go too. Campervan, camping and just walking about does wonders for ones headspace. Keep it up bud!

We saw the Bowder Stone last year and were similarly unimpressed - just a big rock from a rockfall 🙄. Lovely area, pretty campsite to get away from it all if that’s what’s needed. The waterfalls looked impressive after all the recent rain. Thanks for sharing. Hope you and the family have a lovely bank holiday weekend.
Haven't watched for a wee while, but boy oh boy am i pleased i did. Great little film as per usual, have camped at Seatoller quite a few times and it is a great little place, enjoyed the Q&A keep them coming bonnie lad 👍👍

Love that campsite on my visit list. Have been to lodger falls nightmare to figure out access and need lots of rain as we found not much in way of waterfall if been dry. Ashness bridge is nice if not been before. Great low shot of river 📷
I’ve also got the Flipside 450. My lightweight bag but when I want all my gear I have a Shimoda Explore 35. Amazing bags. I’m a Landscape and Wildlife photographer. Too introverted to do wedding photography.

You'd already gone by the time I woke up (about 8 am ish), so I couldn't say goodbye. It's totally understandable though, considering the distance you had to cover the next day.

Lovely site - thanks for sharing - the hotel at the waterfalls looked interesting until I saw the price! Did one of the mountain goat bus tours in November (highly recommended) and we went past that and it drew my interest. great photos as always, very clever shots. Lovely campsite stayed there a couple of nights couple of year ok. It was 8 pound a night. Unbelievable value

I stayed here a few weeks ago, pissed down the whole time, it's the closest you can get to roughing it without roughing it lol
Always love your videos, give me a positive kick!! I know you like the lakes and have a similar campsite to this one that I think you’ll like. Hoathwaite Farm, it used to be National Trust but is now run by the local farmer and his family. Very basic by the side of Coniston Lake, but if you avoid bank holidays, it’s always very quiet and chilled. We have a caravan here just past the farmhouse, it’s a great spot

Ahhh, got our fix of YPT tonight. Did I notice new music?, 🎶 plus is that a new camera for filming. It was very sharp and clear, or was it just my new contact lenses. You should try a new feature- ‘Cooking with Col’. Mind you not much to say when doing a pot noodle.

Hey buddy, it still gets under the 2m height barriers, but each conversion is different. It always best to check the height of yours with a tape measure to be on the safe side ;)

If you were to change your van, what would you opt for
I'm not 100% sure I'll be honest. I love the versatility of this sized van.
But if you were to force my hand, I'd probably say something crafter/sprinter size
Are you a tweezers and pipette kind of food photographer or do you let the chef deal with most of the presentation?
Haha I'm a I'll photograph what the chef puts in front of me, if it's crap I'll send it back kind of photographer 🤣
Having said that, I'll shift around the chips to make them look nicer, spray water on the salad to make it look juicier etc..... ;)
I have a set of T6.1 door cards new if you want them free and you can fit these to make content
