This is the first Trump Cards in so long...
I'd say that he won't win the challenge, because he's not prepared for LoE. In my opinion Trump is a bit slow at reacting to new situations but he's a beast at managing different possibilities and outcomes given time and statistics.
We'll see.

I laughed so hard through the entire second game. The way the warlock kept saying well played really cracks me up
Completely disrespected curse of Rafaam and it almost cost him. That card is bad unless you do exactly that, then it becomes free hunter hero power every turn.
+Douglas Lawrie Yup, 2 mana deal 8 damage to the enemy hero and remove enemy 2 mana crystals for one turn is a pretty good deal.
+Douglas Lawrie I feel like a very aggressive warlock could make good use of the card. Playing something that doesn't generate card advantage isn't a problem when your hero power does it for you and since you're probably going to be way ahead on the board it forces them into the tough choice of either not having enough mana to answer you or taking 6+ damage off of a 2-mana card. Like you wouldn't play it on turn two obviously, you'd dump your hand of 1 and 2 drops then play it going into about turn four then just keep racing.
If aggro weren't such a boring style to play I'd test it, maybe I'll give it a few games later today to see if that analysis is full of shit or not though.

I have seen a super-agro warlock deck in a (pro) tournament twice already.
The curse was in both those decks, and it was good every single time it was played. 0 mana (kinda) -> do 4 / 6 damage to the face is pretty awesome. Even better than that, because as a super agresive deck, you usually have spare mana, while your oponent, who is trying to control you is the one needing the mana, so you can afford to use the mana to do damage to the face, but the oponent usually does not.
Anyway... Trump has never been known for being very good at understanding new cards / concepts. He has good decision making, and he is good at taking someone's deck and playing it great, but a Prophet of Future OPiness, he is not. u_u

Thoughts on the Anubisath over Bodyguard pick? Both seem pretty terrible but surely a 5/4 with taunt is better than a 4/4 without any text if it dies alone, right? You'd really need a consistently sticky board to make the sentinel work but I'm just not seeing that, seems like a really questionable choice.
Damn... That first game is litteraly my life in arena... Have a very strong opening, then opponent carries out this crazy ass end game.

when new expansion comes out the arena card offerings are usually higher for new cards (when tgt came out it was 4x times for new cards)

say what you want. Playing the curse when you have some kind of advantage, or even if you are just even on board, you force your opponent to waste 2 mana to get rid of it. In this example he just had half a crusader over you, but still he got eight or so dmg for two mana :P
I started HS a couple of months ago so im still pretty bad at arena, but when i had three bad choices to choose from i ended up picking curse in one situation. At the end of the phase where you pick your cards i had ended up with 3-4 curses, witch probably is pretty bad (but kinda fun to play around with), and somehow i got 5 wins, witch is more than i usually get :P

+David Crabb its way better than that, the 9/9 will just get bghed and deal dmg to a 1/1. dr boom is so much more powerful because it creates a board worth lightbombing with just one card

I'm pretty sure freeze Mage has stayed pretty similar between all the metas so you should be fine with the old guide

Mlkshke4 Some people now run a version with Reno and a few subs for duplicate cards. I don't like it personally (although I'm not that experienced at freeze mage), but there are definitely two distinct iterations now.
Animated Armor is not that terrible in arena honestly.
He saved me in 2-3 games (With the help of a duplicate to get more than one). I had a match where I had 9 life 3-4 minions and my opponent had a the 9/5 beast and he was forced to kill the animated armor with it. Might be slowish, but if you don't get taunts or heals as picks, he's better than nothing.

What I recall, it's not safe to put up a new video every few hours. What happens eventually is that people get burnt out from watching the videos from this specific channel.
In the first game at the end, Trump could have picked up a Dire Wolf Alpha and hit into the Deathlord in order to potentially get a minion from his deck.
Not sure what that would have done, but it was a play.
+ZeRedSpy Yeah, I think the only taunt was lil exorcist though which would have put up a worse wall than the alternative. He was very close to being able to survive another turn either way.
Yah I'm pretty sure hes still dead either way since he drew Fen Creeper and I don't think he had any charge minions left (very unfortunate) but it was a chance.

I kinda wished the opponent got a Leeroy or something when Trump refused to play the curse for so long, just to squeeze in his pings when he was winning anyway. There actually were a lot of things that could've killed him (Doomguard or any charge minion + Power Overwhelming/Darkbomb/Soulfire), especially when the WL had played Peddlers.

0:25 you probably need higher than 77% winrate actually because if you reach 12 wins, you'll have less than 3 losses so your winrate will be inflated but your total wins will still be 12 from that arena.
but if you never reach 12 wins, and you have exact 100 wins, that would mean 100 wins 30 looses, thats a 76.9%winrate, roughtly 77%, so the lowest winrate possible is 77%
You can of course have a higher winrate, but saying that you need a winrate higher than 77% is not true.

Also, since in this challenge, the requirement is an average of 10 wins and it is very likely that there will be dispersion around the mean winrate as demonstrated by the normal distribution, it is likely there will be some 8-9 or lower arenas and some 11-12 arenas.
It is untrue. The problem is in the word "need", he probably will have a winrate higher than 77%, if he is able to do the challenge, but he only needs a 76.92% of winrate to complete the challenge
At least once I want Trump to play a Murloc shaman deck, I just like it that much :P

I think cursed is a great card, it trades mana and does 2 damage to them. If they don't get rid of it, then you get free hunter powers every turn.

Can't afford slow plays like turn 5 anymore. The correct play was Conjurer. Ideally you never hero power the entire game unless you'd be floating the mana anyways.

The problem comes down to the power creep in Hearthstone. The cards, on average, get better as each expansion gets released, from what I can tell, so hero power keeps on becoming worse and worse unless you have inspire on your board. It'll get really bad if Blizzard goes through with buffing all the old, bad cards like Booty Bay Bodyguard.
