The videos have evolved so much over the years. I still remember when Trump tried out cursed blade and there were all those cool voice lines from wow. Or the first time I saw trumps face dancing on the overlord sprites. Honestly you can come back to this channel every so often and the experience still stays fresh. I appreciate that so much

there's nothing wrong with the videos but I wouldn't say they've changed really at all lol
One of the things early on (IIRC) was that Jens was making his own deck tracker manually for each video - must have been so much work, but it looked so cool before commercially available trackers came out.
The first opponent lost the game when he was forced to play 5 star magtheridon.
I know that every great deck has to start somewhere, but that 2nd game was insane for 1 win arena!
It's actually not that rare these days. This arena meta is a joke. I miss the old grindy arena with bad cards.
@@Pedun42 I legit have stopped playing Arena because of this. Like 60% of my runs end in total frustration and I consider myself a decent Arena player.

Haven’t played HS for a while, what’s this tier list?
i came back to hearthstone not that long ago and now that ive settled in with the new cards i feel horrible knowing i passed up a arena run where i got offered both zephrys and dragon queen alexsrtasza in a draft that had no duplicates anyway, i guess "wish for the perfect card" didn't seem like what it actually is at first.
Highlander decks in a nutshell
1.Hath 1 of each card you like
2.Play dragon queen (or genie)
3.Win

Bro that hunter match had me screaming "No I actually dont lose any damage because all my 1 HP minions keep trading and I would lose them all to explosive" - thats such bs. Just pop it BEFORE you play new minions and youre gucci. You lost like 20 dmg there. Imagine running a 2 mana "gain 20 armor" and still losing.
I once got both alex and magic boi in a highlander deck.....and you all know goddamn right that I disconnected three straight times after the second win, oh and also I had the dragon breeder so I got often a second alex

i had a deck with both DQA and Zephrys but forgot midway through the draft because i did something else at the same time and picked 3 doubles got 10 wins anyway.

Arena these days are wild, I played against a pally who played turn 5 Ysera who then proceeded to trample me.
