What do you think about the R6 vs the R6Markii? Which one are you looking at getting and why? Do you think that the upgrades of the R6 mark ii are good enough to justify upgrading? Let me know down below 👇
Yes this is actually somehthing quite noticable to me too. I used the same settings in both Photoshop and Premiere to grade. You will probably have to pull the blues down slightly to match the original R6. It is reminicent of the EOS-R which had a greenish tinge and had to be pulled up a few points on the megentas to get more accurate colours
Great video Kai, handy to see these two cameras compared - I’m in the market for a camera to replace my 1Dx to work alongside an R7 for shooting sport photos and am currently weighing these two up on a ‘buy soon’ vs ‘save a bit longer’ basis. It looks to me like the mk2 has fractionally “nicer” colours, but the extra 4mpx seems to make no real difference, especially as most of my work is in jpegs. I have minimal interest in shooting video at the moment, so bearing in mind that the mk2 costs roughly £2500 while a second hand mk1 is around £1500, it’s hard to see justification for the extra £1k. What do you think?
Thanks Haribo. It sound slike a second hand Mark 1 is the right fit for your situation. I honestly belive that the improved Mark ii is going to suit videomakers more than photographers. 🙏
Sounds like I'm in the same kinda boat as you.... Think I'm going to go for the r6 as I don't do video, and the r6 had everything that I need shooting automotive/roadside and some studio stuff
@@zafarhashmi929 Amazing. I remember using the crop frame cameras at weddings, they would look so good... until the evening time.. then it got super grainy. I quickly moved to the 5DMarkIII and 6D great times 😊
@@KaiCreative No worries. I still knew what you were talking about. Besides when working with such similar things, you do get lost and which is what. I know I do lol

Hi kai, please make video R5 vs R6 mark II v/s Eos R . Which one is best & why.
Excellent Review. I noticed a blueish tinge more on the R6 Markii photos and videos, particularly in the clouds how were they graded?

@@KaiCreative thanks Kai! That’s the way I’m leaning, for sure - I think the extra £1k would probably be better spent on upgrading a lens or two 👍🏻

the buffer is SLOWER on the ll
just noticed he said BOTH camera's were released in 2020 during the intro 1:04
Just a friendly correction, in your video both are from 2020 but the Mk 2 I believe is from last year of this year
Thank You! Yes you are absolutely correct! The Mark 2 was released in 2022 !
Thanks Kai, I’m going for the R6ii
Great choice - what sold you on it?
@@KaiCreative I tried one out on a CPS workshop day & loved it.
The R6 is currently $1600 here in Czech Republic, brand new.
I'm just seeing for fun I got the 250d haha terrible at low light unfortunately
A great camera the 250D - but yes the cropframe sensor doesn't work well in low light. 🙏
@@KaiCreative yeah, when I had to buy,I prominently watched your videos, thank you so much, but yes, the absolute max limit should be 1600 iso

@@KaiCreative that's good, well, thanks, maybe one day I'll be able to upgrade ✨
MK2 came out 2022. For a sec there, i thought Canada got it years later after its release lol
Yes you’re 100% right no idea how this got through and I totally didn’t clock when I did the animation too 😱think I had the R6 in my mind
