It was supposed to auto-eject from the receptacle on the truck when they started it, but they don’t always work. You don’t want to be standing behind when the auto eject spits out the cord and the air chuck.
Love the looks of the Oshkosh P15 and first generation Striker tenders. Do not care for the next generation Oshkosh Strikers with the Rosenbaur style cab fronts. Would love to restore an old P15 8x8 to OEM perfect condition as an antique fire truck so I can take it on an antique fire truck hot rod cruising and meet. Those old P15 8x8 were probably the world's largest fire trucks ever built.
Nope :( I'm sad, my neighboring city has 2 older fire trucks from 1996 that both have 8V92s for their power plants. They are both being phased out. One is sitting at the DPW outside, and the sister truck is in reserve until next year. I'm hoping I get a chance to see them before they sell them!@@Busdude97
Rosenbauers are garbage fire trucks, probably the only product to come out of Europe that’s trash. It’s an emergency vehicle, saving lives is priority 1 not the environment, Oshkosh even made a mild hybrid version of the newer truck to keep tree huggers like you happy
Someone forgot to unplug the block heater cord before heading out 😂

air line to have the air brakes ready to go at all times. It is set up that way to come off as they pull away.
Professional bunch. Started getting ready before the alarm. 5 out of 5 good job Paraguay Fire.

Hate to say it, but there weren't any p-15s in this lineup. I agree tho, I love the look of the p-15!
It was an Oshkosh T-1500.
Truck 1 forgot to drop the shoreline!
Truck 1 is very old too lol

What were they responding to? I can see the smoke in the background.
Damn! that P15 is putting off more smoke then the fire they are going to! Must be running off road diesel in it
It’s a two stroke Detroit Diesel so emissions = yes
Oh believe me I know, it’s a super charged 8v92 but they don’t smoke that much unless they turned up the injectors and or running the red diesel fuel.
Not to be "that guy", but I believe thats a T-1500. The P-15 is an 8x8 truck.
@@Tkmined you are correct.
🤣🤣right? They all just start spraying the oshkosh🔥
Nice smokey two stroke! 🤟🏻
LoL, frickin Detroits! Forget cummins, duramax, etc. That's how chooch!
That's what I'm talkin' bout lol, Detroits for life!!!
Detroits are always better than the Duramax, including Caterpillar and Cummins.
Now, that's what I call response time!
Does anyone have the full story about what happened?
Lol, so much for the shorepower
Reminds me of my days in the SAAF, that how we responded
Im not sure which had more smoke coming out....the plane/incident or truck #1 jesus christ
Tell me again how exactly VW diesel were a pollution problem?
Was there actually a crash or was this just a drill?
Josh Burger judging by the smoke, something BAD happened.
You can here volunter fire dept being alerted too
0:27 have that vehicle roll up next to a Prius "Happy Earth Day!!!!" roflmao
