Lovely interview. Andy Kershaw was the radio 1 DJ that I listened to in the mid 80's when I moved to Bristol. I remember a fantastic Richard Thompson session and of course the unique blend of world music and anything else he liked. Formative stuff for me.
Just finished his book, he’s a good man not sure the BBC agrees i would tell them this, “Andy filled my ears with fantastic music” very few of the latest ‘DJ’s’ come near the wealth of musical talent Andy has got, keep well old friend👍
