Hakka Style Stuffed Tofu

- Happy New Year! Do you love Chinese cuisine? In the first month of 2018, let’s celebrate the New Year with Hakka Style Stuffed Tofu, a traditional Chinese cuisine. When tofu’s smooth texture combines with juicy pork and other delicious stuffs, this must provide you with an unforgettable taste!
Hakka Style Stuffed Tofu
INGREDIENTS:
1 package Firm tofu
100g Ground pork
Dried shrimp, as needed
Chopped scallions, as needed
Marinade for pork:
White pepper powder, as needed
2 tsp Soy sauce
¼ tsp Cornstarch
Sesame oil, as needed
Sauce:
1 tbsp Oyster sauce
½ tsp Dark soy sauce
½ Sugar
¼ Cornstarch
100ml Water
White pepper powder, as needed
Sesame oil, as needed
PREPARATION:
1. Soften dried shrimp with hot water. Mince it.
2. Marinate the ground pork. Mix and stir the minced dried shrimp and pork until it forms paste. Marinate for another 15 minutes.
3. Extract excess water from tofu’s surface by using few sheets of kitchen towel. Cut it into squares and set aside.
4. Dig a shallow hole in the middle. Stuff the holes with the mixture. Press lightly to fill well.
5. Heat wok to medium at low heat with oil. Place the stuffed tofu onto the wok will filling side down.
6. Turn them around carefully and fry until four sides turn brown.
7. Mix the sauce and add it into the wok to bring to boil.
8. Turn heat to low. Simmer the stuffed tofu for 2 minutes.
9. Plate the tofu and pour the sauce over it. Garnish with the scallions.
10. Enjoy!

oh never mind, just read your list of ingredients. i will try this one, it looks delish!
