Brian I've just come back with some footage off my gimbal on a glorious day in the UK !!! Just NW of London ,my local area the green stretching as far as the eyes can see !! Can't wait to load it up to you tube for you to see ! Total respect to you riding with all this stuff hanging off you, especially on all those crazy trails you've ridden .
Have you thought about adding some vlog style vibe to the videos? Like you preparing for rides, hanging out at local places, traveling etc. I think that'd be dope!
What an awesome place to ride! Epic scenery thru the forest! I was surprised as well when you hopped up on the log, really shows how much your confidence has improved from your earlier videos. Looking forward to when you start hitting some more of those jumps we see on the trails. BTW, your plan is working... I am officially motivated to go out and hit some of the different trails around my area... doubt I'll make it Down Under, but definitely going to hit The Grudge and Mt. Wilson...
Exams have me stuck inside all day. Thanks BKXC for content good enough to pretend I'm on the trail with you. It keeps me from having severe cabin fever.
Gorgeous out there. I'm getting tired of hitting my local trail over and over. Its just been hard with all the rain and snow melt. Trails are shot right now. Until then I will live vicariously through you..
Sweet ride. I took a spill the other day myself. Got distracted... Hit a large root, instant face plant.... Good news, I had a good helmet on. Bad news, I had to order a new helmet.. lol Thanks for another awesome video.
Wow no way, I went the same day to blue derby as you, lucky for me my grandparents live near there so whenever we visit them I get to ride blue derby and it's amazing
Lol case and point!!!!! 😂😂😂😂 I was just thinking the same thing as you did that!!! Did not think you were gonna take that line. Looked like an Indiana jones ride through the temple of doom landscape!!!
Man, that was a beautiful trail! I like how they put up some small rock walls in places and armored creek crossings and some berms with flat rocks. Would that more trails were like that instead of the narrow rutted out rock gardens due to no maintance.
My idea for a youtube channel is something like BKXC but interviewing the best trail designers in the world and showcasing their work. Maybe someday I'll figure out a way to make that viable.
OK, BKXC. Just started mtbing. Was on a 30k. and 20k into it. I fell, damaging some ribs. Am on po Percocet 5mg. Finished the 30 on endorphins and adrenaline. Percocet is good, because it targets the bone. Thanks for an incredible ride. Dave
i was am so suprised that you came to tassie and yes derby is awsome but if you can come to tasmainia again come down to clarence mtb park/meehan range in hobart tasmainia its great and its my local trails so if you come you might see me
What an awesome trail! Keep it up brother!! I watch your videos and get inspired to ride more. Have you ridden any trails in Hurricane, Utah? I'd love to see you do Gooseberry Mesa or Little Creek. Keep it up!
Holy shit! You rode a long ass log like a pro, well done ! Is it my imagination or did some of that trail look like Rotorua? I'll email you a photo of my new bike Brian, it's your fault I got it! 👍🏻👍🏻
be careful packing your hub, if you put too much or too viscous of a grease in there it will cause alot of drag on the star ratchets and slow you down. I use a mixture of mineral oil and some star ratchet specific grease for the perfect sound deadening and viscosity.
Hey man I'm on a high school MTB team in north California and we are all fans of your videos and this summer we are planning a week long trip to downie ville area and we're wondering if you knew any sweat trails that we have to do before going back. We are used to technical shit so don't hold back!
Hey Brian, another fantastic video! I really enjoy watching your skills progress. I got stoked when you did that quick log ride because that's not the typical line that you choose; super cool! How are the new grips treating you? Do you miss the fat paws?
+BKXC I definitely related to your bike rack fiasco. One time my friends snowboard roof rack failed on the highway and both of our boards were destroyed; bindings and all. I'm glad you only had to replace your cockpit.
Don't worry man if you crash they can get to you pretty quick with meds, don't try and get yourself out, you will just cause more damage and insurance will cover it. the one thing I do carry is an EPIRB if I am going somewhere with bad phone reception. I go out alone heaps, The week I bought it I slipped and cut my calf open on the chain ring, was not serious enough to use it but justified the money.
That long log that just went over shows how much more confident you have become, nice vid like always
Thanks Sam!
Nice one Brian, I was shocked when you rode the skinny, Seth would be proud :)
Hahaha yeah!
Very beautiful, love the trees flowing over head, encapsulating the spirit of of nature and a beautiful trail!

Hey Brian, keep the Aussie vids coming. I broke my collar bone last week hitting a tree and your videos are the only thing keeping me sane!
Ahhh brutal, dude! So sorry
Nice ride. I think it's so cool that you get to travel and show us some cool places to ride. Great job, dude. Keep livin' the life.
So grateful to do it, dude!!
Have you thought about adding some vlog style vibe to the videos? Like you preparing for rides, hanging out at local places, traveling etc. I think that'd be dope!
Hahaha, like the first Derby video?!?!? Definitely something I'm going to do more of
BKXC please do this , it would be amazing. Also some bike park trips with Alex if he is around would be cool!
What an awesome place to ride! Epic scenery thru the forest! I was surprised as well when you hopped up on the log, really shows how much your confidence has improved from your earlier videos. Thanks so much!! I hope you get to all of them!
Booked a Trip to Derby for next weekend. Wife watched your video and was sold! Thanks Brian =)
Hell yes!
4 days in Derby because of your video Brian! was amazing! thanks
Trail building is one of the awesomest things to do! It truly is an Art!
Man, it really is!!
That is my kind of trail open flow with just enough technical suprises along the way. that lunch sure does look good.
Yeah it was a fun fast ride!
Great video brother.... Both the trail and the terrain.
Thanks my man!
What a trail, nice and smooth, and the burger of-course
Hahaha, of course!
Exams have me stuck inside all day. Thanks BKXC for content good enough to pretend I'm on the trail with you. It keeps me from having severe cabin fever.
Time for a nice little break!!
Gorgeous out there. I'm getting tired of hitting my local trail over and over. Its just been hard with all the rain and snow melt. Trails are shot right now. Until then I will live vicariously through you..
Happy to provide a little escapism!!
Gorgeous giant ferns! Great job on that skinny, Brian!
Thanks dude!
Sweet ride. I took a spill the other day myself. Got distracted... Hit a large root, instant face plant.... Good news, I had a good helmet on. Bad news, I had to order a new helmet.. lol Thanks for another awesome video.
Oh wow!! Helmet doing the work! Glad you enjoyed the vid
Those trails look amazing and I'm really loving the trees!
They are so neat! Prehistoric!
Amazing trail, can't wait to visit this one! Keep up the great videos
Thanks man!!
Awesome video Brian as always!
Thanks bud!!
Wow no way, I went the same day to blue derby as you, lucky for me my grandparents live near there so whenever we visit them I get to ride blue derby and it's amazing
I can't wait to go back!!
Cool little ledge to ride up on, not a bad trail.
Pretty fun stuff!
Great video mate. Good to see a different perspective.
Thanks !!
That's possibly the coolest looking trail i've ever seen.
It's a really great one!
That looked so chill and flowy
Definitely a good way to describe it!
7.00 was sick !, nice trails too, so jelly ...
Thanks so much!
"man look at this mushroom...i am not touching that." oh man laughed so hard. Keep up the great work!!
Hahaha! Thanks Paul
What a beautiful trail thank you for sharing

Tassie is quickly becoming the mountain bike Mecca of Australia. nice vid dude🤘
Definitely! Up and coming!
These trails just look awesome! It's a location I really want to get to someday.
Yeah man, I hope you get there!
these trails are amazing, nice video. Greetings from Spain
Gracias amigo! Me alegra que lo hayas disfrutado
I do the same thing everytime i get to the bit where you went "this doesn't look like the trail"
That orange fungus may have had the pain relieving qualities you're looking for. Nice ride!
Hahaha, the mystical ways of the forest!
Wow...endless flow! Not the most techy trail but it sure did look fun as hell.
Yeah it was a little too smooth for my liking but still good!
The hardest thing about watching your videos is waiting until I can ride the trails myself!
Hahaha, that means I'm doing my job!
Sweet ride dude, keep up the work and keep on inspiring people! :)
Thanks so much!!
BKXC, no problem! :)
If your still in Tassie, you should also go ride the north south track as well as the Meehan range. Yeiw Tassie 🤙🏼
Next time!
Awesome ride! Great job on the skinny dude! Unfortunately there is not a pain pill that will last that long; legal one anyway. Beautiful country!
Thanks bud! It was so beautiful
So sick man! I'm from down south of Tassise (Hobart). And man, you need to check out the trails down here!
Awesome, always love hearing about new places!
BKXC 100% worth a visit if you come back!
Rode this on Saturday and it was great! Then it pissed down all Sunday for EWS!
Hahah, yep, looked pretty bad!!
that place is gorgeous
Lol case and point!!!!! 😂😂😂😂 I was just thinking the same thing as you did that!!! Did not think you were gonna take that line. Looked like an Indiana jones ride through the temple of doom landscape!!!
Hahahaha! Love it. Definitely a jungle adventure, luckily didn't need a gun!
Man, that was a beautiful trail! I like how they put up some small rock walls in places and armored creek crossings and some berms with flat rocks. Would that more trails were like that instead of the narrow rutted out rock gardens due to no maintance.
Definitely a well built piece of art!
It would have been interesting if you interviewed the World Trail guys and asked them about the trail construction, etc.
Definitely, didn't work out for timing!
My idea for a youtube channel is something like BKXC but interviewing the best trail designers in the world and showcasing their work. Maybe someday I'll figure out a way to make that viable.
Great trail, great ride bro. nice!!
Thanks Ainsley!
Nice job on the log!
Thanks!!

It was a good one!

You know it!!
OK, BKXC. Just started mtbing. Was on a 30k. and 20k into it. I fell, damaging some ribs. Am on po Percocet 5mg. Finished the 30 on endorphins and adrenaline. Percocet is good, because it targets the bone. Thanks for an incredible ride. Dave
Oh man!! Good stuff that it got you through the ride!
That trail looks like a strong contender for the Pyrenees! A photo finish maybe?
Ya know, it was a little too smooth for my taste. Lots of fun, but not technical enough for me to dream about.
Yeah I'm a fan of the natural trail ! What a great day at work TRAIL connoisseur 😎
Love it! We had to bring our bikes to a local bike shop because my dad sprayed the brakes with WD40.....
Can't wait to get back riding!
Haha, oh man!
dude, that trail is awesome!
It was a gem!
Awesome looking trail! 7:00, damn son! Did you scope out that log ride beforehand?
Just went for it! Wheeee
The vids are awesome. One thing I think you can work on is to do the jumps on the trails you ride.
Thanks dude!
Damnit that trail was fun to watch!!
Awesome, that's what I love to hear!
My trail recomondation: Come to Austria and shred the beautiful trails in Schladming! this would be awesome

That Orange mushroom was literally the only one in that shot that wouldn't kill you. Saffron Milk Cap.
Haha nice
i was am so suprised that you came to tassie and yes derby is awsome but if you can come to tasmainia again come down to clarence mtb park/meehan range in hobart tasmainia its great and its my local trails so if you come you might see me
What an awesome trail! Keep it up brother!! I watch your videos and get inspired to ride more. Have you ridden any trails in Hurricane, Utah? I'd love to see you do Gooseberry Mesa or Little Creek. Keep it up!
Thanks Dan! I'm going at the end of the month on a fan trip with Chasing Epic and can't wait!
Those look like some nice trails
They were!
Amazing ride!
😁👍
" channeling " Seth with that log - ride !
Haha love it
you should go to Maydena in Tasmania
Holy shit! You rode a long ass log like a pro, well done ! Is it my imagination or did some of that trail look like Rotorua? I'll email you a photo of my new bike Brian, it's your fault I got it! 👍🏻👍🏻
Yeah that log ride was sweet!! It definitely looked like Rotorua, just no redwoods in Derby.
BKXC I was going to say the same thing. That log was nuts, I kept waiting for you to biff it off the side! I'm jealous that you got to ride Derby.
I love your videos so much man
Awesome, dude! Thanks for the love
Looks fun! Bet the locals shred through that like pro's!
Definitely!!
Awesome trail!!
Thanks Ron!
Awesome as always fella. What's the name of that pub? Grub looked good!!
Thanks dude! It was the Weldborough Hotel
wow thats a beautiful place i like the woods looks like a movie place witches and goblins
Definitely! Like something will pop out around every corner
How are you liking those ODI grips? I rode those same ones for almost a decade and loved them!
Not too great! My calluses are definitely coming back. Gotta get back to the Fat Paws

Nice! I had a great time!
BKXC thats great to hear I'm hopefully heading to derby soon
What a ride!
😁👍

Interesting! Thanks for the tip!

Hey dude! I have only done the classic shuttle stuff, but I want to explore more this summer!
Hey Brian, another fantastic video! I really enjoy watching your skills progress. I got stoked when you did that quick log ride because that's not the typical line that you choose; super cool! How are the new grips treating you? Do you miss the fat paws?
Yeah I definitely miss the fat paws! New bar going on soon
+BKXC I definitely related to your bike rack fiasco. One time my friends snowboard roof rack failed on the highway and both of our boards were destroyed; bindings and all. I'm glad you only had to replace your cockpit.
Shweeeeetttt!!!!!!! That looks amazing🤙🤙🤙👌
Yeah buddy!!
You must be on cloud nine getting to ride some of these places.
It's pretty great!
Don't worry man if you crash they can get to you pretty quick with meds, don't try and get yourself out, you will just cause more damage and insurance will cover it. the one thing I do carry is an EPIRB if I am going somewhere with bad phone reception. They can definitely get me out quick in Derby, but not every ride will be so close to civilization. I have an InReach for emergencies as well.
One place to ride next time in tassie is Maydena bike park
Definitely!
Funny ...I noticed your hub being louder within the first few mins of your video. Time for a little TLC for the Bronson.
Yup!! Added some grease and it's back to normal now.
