@Angelic we know of none. But he said that he feels like you should keep working for as long as you can. And people have asked for a new Kid Icarus game for eternities now, so that'd be a possibility. Or he just does something completely new. Or something he doesn't publicly release or something. So in short: No, we have no clue, but not knowing of any plans doesn't mean he will work on Smash either. Because well... he's been doing so for way too long by now, I doubt he'll come back to it that quickly (would be happy if he did tho)

I worked at gamestop when joker got announced. There were people in the store yelling and screaming, one guy even tore his shirt off like hulk hogan and ran outside in the rain. It was really strange to see adults acting like that about a game.
Especially over a fictional character, like don't get me wrong there nothing wrong with getting excited for you're favorite character but is it really worth ripping you're shirt off and singing church music too? lol

The competitive scene is all about skill when playing, and as such it tries to remove anything that involves luck. Hero's main gimmick - randomized spells - are quite literally all luck
At least that's what I think it meant

I really love the passive aggressive Nintendo and Sega interaction.
I can't believe Terry actually made it, I was hoping for him and was hyped when he was actually announced.

I didn't expect him, and since I have ties to Fatal Fury 1 on the genesis when I was still pleb I wa sthe more excited, liek Sakurai himself, to see what he brings to the table, the music and details. I was happy for like Banjo and Hero too, but not on a personal level per se!

I want to see an animated series where there is tons of characters waiting in a lobby and auditions to be in the game. Then shows Sakurai's reasoning for picking that character.
The Terry and hero episodes would be the best.
Terry was picked because Sakurai loved KOF as a kid, and hero was for Iwata.

I especially love how Sakurai-san drinks Coke Zero. Ever since his interview with Harada-san at Harada's Bar, he's admitted that he never drinks water since he feels weird about it and doesn't drink alcohol, so he's always guzzling away with soda.
The moment when they both agreed that cilantro was awful was a beautiful moment. Even I, who doesn't mind the taste of cilantro, felt blessed anyway.

Well technically, Sans stole Terry's hype for the most part. The rest of the video was pretty good though.

Actually it’s a ironic twisted version of those scenes where the crazy one really is the main character, and the rest are the sensible ones
Gonna admit, I was laughing the whole time. I’ve enjoyed every dlc character so far and having been following the dlc train all these years this was a nice recap for the horizon of the final character.

I was hype for Three Houses and definitely wanted/expected a representative from it in smash. Byleth was the obvious choice and I'm glad they are in smash.
I actually wanted Ferdinand or Hubert. The former for memes and the latter because he would be a good echo for Robin.

Of all of the first DLC I was having least interest of is now one of my main (Byleth).
I haven't even played Fire Emblem series.
Same here lol. Kind of funny how salty everyone was about the characters addition but no one can deny it's a pretty fun character to play.

Just the opposite for me, I love fire emblem but I was sick of it polluting the character slots with unnecessary characters.
Literally 3 of them exist to promote a game ONCE (Roy, corrin, byleth) and three are from the SAME game (awakening trio)
Too many fe characters, they should cut the roster in half in keep it that way
@@africanamericanflash5147 Considering the work Sakurai and team have put into smash over the past 20 years they can put whoever they want in the game. That's why I didn't mind Byleth or Pyra/Mythra because I could tell during the presentations that Sakurai was very happy to have them in the game (especially Pyra and Mythra, he was geeking out during that presentation lol).

I wouldn’t say Sans stole Banjo’s hype. The internet blew up when he was announced at E3. When the costume was shown off, we already knew Banjo was in the game and was coming out soon

Just remembering January 2020 for Byleth trailer and how everyone was thinking that it was going to be Dante because DMC3 was being released for Switch those days. You don't know how hysterically I laughed seeing those idiots that think random tweets from strangers and 4chan posts as real facts that the characters said there were going to be the last character of the DLC Pack. Also to finish it all, later Nintendo released Fire Emblem 3 Houses DLC.
Those days I was enjoying them so much.
This is awesome, never have bot voices and some mild animating made me laugh so hard! This is one of those where the writing is just so good its holds up no matter what.
