Love being able to build arround other/basic skills but core skills need some love. I mean they're 'core' skills afterall
In summary for you druids the only viable build for druid will be companions and you will constantly have 90% or more damage reduction
If they're moving it more and more into the direction of D3, they really, really need to increase the monster density..
Otherwise we'll have these little groups of monsters here and there and they've already been One-Shoots.
I mean, they also reduced the health of the 200 bosses at the ongoing Season, they'll be also One-Shots for now 😅
I just hope they're cooking for these upcoming issues 🙌🏼

necro needs defensive skills blizzard: okay here’s another blood skill affix that automatically casts blood mist so you can blood mist in the death screen
which build is best for barb on average you will be able to do every event?
I have a feeling some tempers might be getting scaled back looking at this new stuff
Crown of Lucion + Ring of Starless Sky combo looks pretty neat, at full stacks from both you will be left with 0 cost reduction and triple damage, I think 2 possible builds that can use it (together with resource+sec on both boots and chest, possibly GA):
- Chain Lighting Sorc, with new pants and mana on bounce on amulet that might be pretty good, stupid bonus to ranks and crazy multipliers;
- Flurry Rogue - with no basic and new aspect to pull enemies;
Another thing I want to try is I know they are about to nerf Victimize, but cold imbued Heartseeker might keep it as very strong build, I'd drop Accursed aspect as cold imbuement can apply vulnerable, Shako will buff chill effect really nicely
oooh i wonder how that aspect of the dark dance interacts with bone spirit
That winter touch aspect for sorc, depending on what the damage range ends up being on a decently geared character, could make frosty strides very good again right?
Aslong as the sorc can stay alive longer than 10 seconds after the flame shield nerfs, sure.
Do we know if uniques will be buffed, even old ones across the board or will we have to find them again?

I gotta agree it’s just companion aspects and I don’t like using them I just have to for damage in s4 s5 im taking them out and switching to other things and with the aspects it’s just companions such a let down… considering they know we had to use them and how we felt about it and that’s what they do? It’s just blah
@@Joker-uw2ul yep. The worst part is, druid companions need buffs to non-ability damage. Survivability was not the problem. They need a damage buff of about 10,000x before they even came close to competing so these are all just signs of wasted engineering resources at Blizzard.
druids get some good uniques though
If that staff replicates the cc and x30 crit of druid ultimate like it should then it's going to be insanely op
@@bungmonkey2295 the problem is that most druid builds are really bad against bosses and that staff only affects the target once for three seconds so it is actually does not address what druids struggle with. Particularly earth builds.

On paper yes but from what I saw it looks like they gutted victimize so doubt it will be what it was.
@@Sins13 It's not necessarly gutted, Vitimize itself has been nerfed probably by just 33% (no double dip but buffed base by 50%), still as someone who plays it I'd say you maintain Inner Sight for only about 30% of time - after it wears off there is about 4 seconds downtime when you can't fill the gauge, so I don't think it will work anyway
@@adamnowicki1425 The thing I am really curious about is with that new aspect where all basics have cold imbue. I wonder if there will be a HS build that forms from that. I am not familiar with how well cold gets scaled in the paragon but I would like to see it work with victimize and all the other bonus damage to chill/frozen stuff.
@@Sins13 I don't have much time mid week so I only did some very surface level test:
- HS has been nerfed harder than I thought, probably more than 20 Pit levels, on live I can speedfarm 80-85 and push to 105-ish, on test tier 61 felt slow, although there seems to be some bugs with Pit itslelf on PTR
- new aspect is pretty amazing IMO, I think it will be staple for many builds, on my HS I used accursed touch to maintain vulnerable after exploit glyph runs out, I swapped accursed for new aspect and I can easily have 100% time upkeep of vulnerable from cold imbuement (that's the only source of vulnerability)
- the only downside (although it's general issue with many Rogue builds) there is huge gap between regular vs staggered boss damage
@@adamnowicki1425 Yea I figured it would be worse because its double dipping got cut in half so you lose 50% base and 100% on stagger. Thats good news about the permanent vuln with cold. How well could you get it to scale tho? I have a feeling andy build will be the best build in S5. If only there was a way to make that in cold form but I have no idea. HS in S4 was my first rogue so I have no idea what options they have for it.

4:05 Every 2 sec distant ememies are pulled in to you and take +10%dmg for 3sec. So pulled enemies for every class :D That's awsome.
The grandpapi buff didn't actually make it to the current version of the PTR.
Rob, you got any idea if that will come later or has been retconned for some reason?
I've been looking forward to that, quite a lot.
(I crafted a papi from spark as well as found one from uber Zir, both of them "only" double the crit dmg.
Basic skill sorc should be pretty cool next season
Barb - The third Blade, even more buff Grandpapa, perma berserk, more DR.
Driud - uselss Basilisk staff, Grizzly Rage duration cannot go above 12 seconds, still no DMG from most skills (exeption AK47 Landslide, Wind Shear)
Hello, what will happen with the old items? Because some tempering will be on the another parts of the gear in S5.
For example flay duration, will not be on the weapons, but will be on the another parts of the armor. But when i have now there this tempering and masterworking also...
It will be another legacy after S4? Because for masterwork are required two temperings. So old gear maybe stay as is, or will be locked till player roll there any other temper?
Because i maybe will play Eternal like now in the Season4. There was no reason for leveling the char in S4.
Looks Like Lucion will make an appearance perhaps in the DLC?

Those basic skill uniques and aspects seem to way offset the bash temper nerf
Really excited about what builds our genius content creators will come up with... and until then I have no idea which character to play for S5 :D At the same time I am concerned seeing the power creep already getting completely out of control for some classes (cough Barb cough) but not for others.
They should change bash temper to basic skill temper, like why is it only bash? It should be a choice between the flavor of the basic skills!
Bash for the overpower
Lunge for the movement
frenzy for the atk speed/dmg reduction
flay for the bleed
This makes so much sense. Keep the nerfed numbers but open it up to all the basics. It's so weird that barb has no AOE basic skills 🤦

Bash temper got nerfed into the ground. This will kill most bash builds if it goes live.
Bash will still he doing more damage than the best druid build
@@antonriddoch8 druids were only 20 pit levels below the top meta builds. That's not nothing of course but if the best build is 140ish pit and the worst build is 120ish pit then the game is pretty close IMO as most people who play the game will never play at that level.
They're buffing druids and nerfing bash by 80%.

Bro i want to ask...for bash barb/frenzy barb is normal legendary aspect better or having starless sky better...meaning should i use 2 legendary aspect for ring or 1 legendary and 1 ring of starless
With the new unique that makes basic skill cost resource, yes you want starless, it's 50%x dmg more than any other ring/codex in the game.
@@iReapez 30x standing still , 20 x resource ,x 25 ground stomp, anything else viable ?.....x 80 adaptability already used so basically ross with its x50 is probably the best next thing

They have removed damage to close, damage to distant and crowd controlled from tempering.
Now it's critical strike damage, vulnerable damage, overpower damage and ultimate damage.

Blizzard should put ALL changes in their patchnotes. How hard is that? Upfront and honest that would speed along the play testing. Pretty sure GGG has a full time employee who mostly works on compiling changes and looking at them in game to make the patch notes.

@@dpolenz79 I have a fulltime job and I still think the game should provide content for everyone, including the blasters that play 15h a day. If tormented bosses can be killed 2 days into a season, I think that's lame. If you can't clear all the endgame content by playing 3 hours a week, that's your problem.

really hoping they buff enemies as well, allow World bosses to do more damage as well as survive atleast a few minutes. Make it a real challenge and a scary one for hardcore players. Also add more mechanics to bosses in general
Um wieviel Uhr started der ptr weiß man ja leider nicht, aber kann jemand eine einschätzung abgeben wenn er es liest und die vorherigeren ptrs zb. gezockt hat. Kommt der ptr erst gegen abend oder vielleicht schon um 8-9 Uhr morgens? Sonst geht nochmal penn bis abends. Btw, s4 hat mich geflasht, season 5 ist ja mal wow!
Bei Blizzard kannst Du immer von 7 Uhr Abends ausgehen

What is up with Blizzards focus on buffing basic skills so hard?
Because before people were begging for it, because well, they sucked. And well now they are very strong, and they probably worked on these items for a while already before it was obvious how strong basic skills are now, so instead of scrapping them they just release them anyways.

Bash cleave getting nerfed because of all the other MASSIVe buffs to it via uniques etc. Bash will probably be more broken next patch somehow
Moon rise and the basic attack sword just seem broken, bash barb is gonna be ridiculous
except bash tempering is now only 15-20 per weapon, instead of 82-105 like in season 4.

They should remove +damage from The Grandpapa, and put crit chance instead. It is a crit buffing sword after all!

man the numbers are massive. this is turning in to d3. i hope they will balance it well both in terms of power and fun. everything should have a purpose. also as a druid player, these items don't excite me because there is no slot to put them on. most of druid's aspects needs to be reworked in to skill tree and boon. exciting for barb because i will get couple of X dmg from every slot.
Those gloves actually have the same properties as in League of Legends Lmao like that they are just taking from everywhere they can see and put things inside the game
But with all this new power will mean normal content just becomes to easy and the only challenge will be the new endgame? They are falling into the D3 trap of just buffing everything.

As is typical for Blizzard. On the PTR you will be able to have fun and play enormously crazy builds. After the PTR, before everything goes live, everything will be hugely nerfed and the fun will fall by the wayside.

@@IKolpikov I feel like the bash temper nerf was done because of that sword specifically. But you could be right. Either way idc I went bash last season I don't want to go that again next season unless that sword just makes it way too busted lol

Barb thorns god has been dethroned. My necro is King of thorns, My Golem is doing 800K thorns I am doing half that, and we are both Immune.

im playing sorc to get first lvl 100 just for the speed of leveling and to unlock generic aspects tempers and such. For endgame pushing we'll see
Rogue will also be really good. Already is. Necro will be very mobile, damage wise not sure. Druid and Sorc...idk :)
