Their limbs were elastic and allowed you to do jumping jacks and dances. From what I remember, each of them came with a DVD of different exercise routines. I still own my elephant Stretchkin from when I was a kid :)

In Mexico there have been a series of Hello Kitty colaborations with a specific period pads brand over the years (probably more than a decade by now); it's kinda cute how they decorate the pads envelopes with all sorts of hello kitty themed patterns. I believe there were also some Aggretsuko, Gudetama and other Sanrio characters editions. Sometimes the pads come in bigger boxes that would include a little prize according to the current pad theme. Which vary to litterally anything, from coffe mugs to boxes to store the pads and the list goes on. I think it's pretty fun!

Infodumping isn't exclusive to neurodivergent people either. That being said, if you feel like it resonates with you and you want to look into it more, go for it! I think a lot of people exist under the neurodivergent umbrella without realizing it, and even if you aren't struggling, it can be comforting to have a name to put to certain feelings.

Edit: I found it! It's called Hello Kitty Hello Everything and was a celebration of Hello Kitty's first 25 years. It came out in 2001, I was born in late 1998 so the time lines up that I would only be looking at pictures. The cover is a collage of different products from a bumper car to a guitar to a keychain. It features even crazier stuff like a car and there's a page for the video game stuff like the Dreamcast and little Game and Watch-like games. Also a phone where her head is connected to the receiver so you decapitate her to make calls. I don't know if I still have the book myself (probably not) but there's even a page through of it on UA-cam. I'm looking at it now and being hit with nostalgia for stuff I can't believe I forgot like the Hello Kitty dollhouse set where the characters look like erasers and the mermaid Kitty. I wanted both of those so bad as a child. Looking through now I don't see the ring I thought I remembered, but it's so nice to have a name to the book now. I used to have a book that was pretty much an encyclopedia for all sorts of Hello Kitty products, I looked through it all the time since I was a huge Hello Kitty fan but this was before I could even read so I don't remember it super well. It actually helped teach me how to recognize dates and years. Notably, there's a blue-green one by Janome called "Sewing Pretty with Hello Kitty" that's very popular right now among the lolita fashion community (for those unfamiliar, an alternative fashion from Japan that takes inspiration from things like rococo, vintage dolls, princesses, etc). I've been told it's actually a pretty good machine, albeit a bit small. Personally, I believe that sewing pretty with Hello Kitty is not a product but rather a state of being, so I just put a bunch of the Hello Kitty x Pusheen stickers on my otherwise normal sewing machine (whose name is Kevin).
I went to a hello kitty exhibit quite a few years ago with my mom (She’s a a HUGE fan) and the only thing I remember from that was a Hello Kitty Headstone…. Admittedly ChocoCat is my actual favorite Sanrio character, but Hello Kitty is my second favorite. I have a Nintendo DS that is fully tripped out with the Hello Kitty gear. One of the physician's assistants at my pain management doctor has an office that is entirely done in pink Hello Kitty gear and decorations. I love that you can be an adult, professional; and it is totally okay to have Hello Kitty and other Sanrio characters on your work attire and office. I didn't know about the Hello Kitty/ One Piece crossover, and I'm going to have to check into that. Hello Kitty and Chopper and easily a perfect crossover combination, and I am going to have to find something with them on it. I can always find a use for more pouches, and Sanrio is my favorite theme for them. ^_^ I always thought that the weirdest and most problematic Hello Kitty product was the fact that they released an officially licensed Hello Kitty vibrator. Sanrio has said that it was intended for things like massaging your sore neck, but it is clearly shaped for other purposes (but technically you could use it on your neck, so they aren't lying....).

This has been happening to many people over the past few months. The only reason it keeps happening is that everyone passes it off as just sleep paralysis. No one has been able to properly see the creature, as it has always disappeared by the time they turn any lights on. I see it. The long arms of the tall monster at the end of my bed. I reach for the flashlight I left on my bedside table, and point it at the raspy monster. As I look up the body I see the long legs run up and up, as the arms follow with it. The torso is quite small for the creature, and it wears strange red trousers. As I go up to the face and head, it blocks the light from it's eyes, screeching loudly. As it's eyes adjust to the lights, it uncovers it's face, letting it's lanky limbs down. I see it's true identity. The red Bow on its head, the cat ears atop, and... It's just Hello Kitty?
I think the KFC-Hello Kitty Christmas thing comes from the fact KFC has been a big thing around Christmas time in Japan for years, so adding a beloved cartoon cat into the mix would probably be pretty successful

A former roommate of mine was super SUPER into Hello Kitty/Sanrio and actually got her hands on some of the kitchen appliances because she worked at Target and there was a brief period of time where they were being sold there. I know for sure she had the white and pink rounded toaster, the *microwave* (wtf why), the waffle maker and I think there was a little water dispenser, too. It was wild to see them in action. They worked well enough but no better than something that was probably half the price. Also the microwave was *tiny*. Most standard plates couldn't fit inside it.

I recently bought a small, hello kitty shaped cast iron frying pan. It's suprisingly high quality and really cute! It's even got indents so if you made pancakes in it you could have one side match the shape of her face! We had an almost full Hello Kitty kitchen at one point. Talking microwave, toaster, waffle maker, coffee machine, milkshake maker, cookie jars, plates, cups. My mom also has a Hello Kitty Christmas tree she’s been setting up for the last few years. Oh I also had the tv with flowers one it! I honestly really miss it, we also had this shower curtain for YEARS and she took it down when my brother got older :/

I was born in 1974, so Hello Kitty has been a part of my whole life; and I have always loved it so much. Admittedly ChocoCat is my actual favorite Sanrio character, but Hello Kitty is my second favorite. I have a Nintendo DS that is fully tripped out with the Hello Kitty gear. One of the physician's assistants at my pain management doctor has an office that is entirely done in pink Hello Kitty gear and decorations. I love that you can be an adult, professional; and it is totally okay to have Hello Kitty and other Sanrio characters on your work attire and office. I didn't know about the Hello Kitty/ One Piece crossover, and I'm going to have to check into that. Hello Kitty and Chopper and easily a perfect crossover combination, and I am going to have to find something with them on it. I can always find a use for more pouches, and Sanrio is my favorite theme for them. ^_^
I always thought that the weirdest and most problematic Hello Kitty product was the fact that they released an officially licensed Hello Kitty vibrator. Sanrio has said that it was intended for things like massaging your sore neck, but it is clearly shaped for other purposes (but technically you could use it on your neck, so they aren't lying....).

Honestly in the food section you should have had the Hello Kitty wine. There are several different versions of it, sparkling rose and Cabernet included. All the products you showed seemed for children but that one shows that there are very much adult fans too.
There are tons of adult fans. 😊 When the Hello Kitty cafe truck comes to Atlanta, the line for it starts a couple hours early and the line wraps around the block. That line is full of all ages but mainly college age and up and they’re buying for themselves. I’m mad because they released a new glass Hello Kitty icons mug after leaving my city and I wasn’t able to buy it this year. 😢

Hi polygen! The long hello kitty (as weird as it is), is actually from the toy brand Stretchkins, these wacky plushies were originally given extra long limbs with built in elastic to give them that extra stretch, hope this helps!

I'm 100% convinced that Long Hello Kitty is some kind of SCP. Imagine waking up one night to strange, raspy breathing and seeing that looming over the foot of your bed.
This has been happening to many people over the past few months. The only reason it keeps happening is that everyone passes it off as just sleep paralysis. I wake up in the middle of the night for seemingly no reason. I've been waiting for this. No one has been able to properly see the creature, as it has always disappeared by the time they turn any lights on. I see it. The long arms of the tall monster at the end of my bed. I reach for the flashlight I left on my bedside table, and point it at the raspy monster. As I look up the body I see the long legs run up and up, as the arms follow with it. The torso is quite small for the creature, and it wears strange red trousers. As I go up to the face and head, it blocks the light from it's eyes, screeching loudly. As it's eyes adjust to the lights, it uncovers it's face, letting it's lanky limbs down. I see it's true identity. The red Bow on its head, the cat ears atop, and... It's just Hello Kitty?

A former roommate of mine was super SUPER into Hello Kitty/Sanrio and actually got her hands on some of the kitchen appliances because she worked at Target and there was a brief period of time where they were being sold there. I know for sure she had the white and pink rounded toaster, the *microwave* (wtf why), the waffle maker and I think there was a little water dispenser, too. It was wild to see them in action. They worked well enough but no better than something that was probably half the price. Also the microwave was *tiny*. Most standard plates couldn't fit inside it.
Ima need to steal your roommate from you. I spent over a thousand dollars on Sanrio products! We would be unstoppable!

I had these horrifying soap bottles back in the day. Hello Kittys body was the actual bottle and her head was just a cheap plastic 'shell' on top of it. So in order to get any product, you always had to decapitate her!
Now it's time to info dump some random hello kitty items I think are cool. There was a child's play or "bride of Chucky" and "seed of Chucky" Collab. There some keychains, pins and most importantly two packs of plushies, there's a hello kitty themed Chucky, glen/Glenda, and Tiffany. The three pack is surprisingly rare while the two pack is more common. Some parts may be incorrect lol.

I recently bought a small, hello kitty shaped cast iron frying pan. It's suprisingly high quality and really cute! It's even got indents so if you made pancakes in it you could have one side match the shape of her face! I always loved Hello Kitty as a little kid so seeing these kinds of things make me pretty happy.

I actually know what the long Hello Kitty is! For a while it was somewhat common to see plush with long limbs and elastic straps on the feet so that you could slip your feet in the straps, hold their hands, and "dance" with them! I had one that looked like a rabbit growing up, lol.
