Prime is running victory laps at this point. Entire cast and crew killed it.
Yup, invincible, fallout and maybe the boys next season, would make amazon the streaming service of the year.
Yep fantastic series!! 👍👍
Fallout games are getting crazy traction thanks to the show as well. Fallout 4 is buzzing
Cool as we say goodbye to our future, have you checked the global sea surface temperature yet dummy?
@@choonblazeEspecially considering they announced a new update for Fallout 4 recently too
Walton nailed it. Both characters are utterly compelling.
As our future evaporates before our eyes
I hope he gets recognition for this role. Dude was great
After his epic performance as Shane Vendrell in the epic hit show The Shield, less couldn't be expected.
❤Boyd crowder in Justified
By both you mean Coop and Ghoul?
The Ghoul was such a scene stealer
He really was
this man always does that in every goddamn show hes in
I told my buddy that this is probably his break out role. I know Goggins has been around forever but his performance displays real leading-act energy. If he doesn't have film deals in the works from this, I would consider that to be criminal. He deserves it.
@@mstrfstr310this!
I agree and a lot
"Thou shalt get sidetracked by bullshit every goddamn time"
- The Ghoul
Those settlements aren't gonna save themselves
That's one im using from now on lmao
I love those subtle nods to what it's like to play a Fallout game.
@@Greene-li9oc The fact that Lucy, Maximus, and The Ghoul also all have clearly unique builds is awesome. Maximus seems to have a luck build, Lucy Charisma, and the Ghoul has an Assassin build. That along with the set building and in game nods to events like hacking. Idk how you do a video game any more justice tbh. It feels like you are watching a run through of a game in some aspects with how the side characters really have that NPC vibe and interactions.
@@Caboozel 100%. It gets it all right top to bottom and often in wonderfully understated ways. I genuinely couldn't be happier with it.
I loved that Cooper Howard, a good man, broken by 200 years of witnessing the worst in humanity and himself, only needed one person to show him mercy, to rekindle that humanity he had forgotten about.
You know, I didn't even think about that. Bravo, that's spot on.
We’re still not entirely sure he gonna be the good guy in s2 but he is listed as “protagonist” in the wiki
@@ryanrich7133 Oh, I think he will live by that FEO FUERTE FORMAL.
He has been living as an animal for the past 200 years, I think Lucy made him realize that there is more to life than surviving.
He'll definitely not be a "good" karma character, but he won't be mindlessly cruel and disregarding of human life.
That's what I think at least.
Walton was perfect, He fits so well in the universe
Your flesh will rot, soulless netwalker
His character as the ghoul was absolutely badass, and his pre-war history made him 100% relatable… take notes out there😊
Honestly, cannot wait for season 2. I’m about to rewatch the first season again because it was just that good
Yeah, I am too. I am glad we finally get a Fallout TV series!
I'm on my 4th time watching it
@@Historybuff_769 Me too 😂
Bro! This show is easily! The best tv series in 2024. Hands down!🙏👍alongside shows like shogun. and sci fi movies like Dune.
@@ukrainefighter2456 how is shogun? I havent seen it yet but it looks pretty decent
Walton Goggins is fantastic in anything he’s in.
Boyd crowder was the bad guy you loved to pull for
His performance in this show as The Ghoul/Cooper Howard truly blew me away and it really opened my eyes to how much of an underrated and underappreciated actor he truly is
He's the kind of actor Hollywood never appreciates because he doesn't look handsome enough.
For all the talk and preaching about "Looks aren't everything", we still live in a world where talented individuals like Walton Goggins are sidelined in favor of models with zero acting experience.
You should check him out in Justified! The first season starts off a little slow, but every episode with him in it is made so much better for it. By season two, they realized that, and he basically became a dual protagonist to the main character, constantly circling each other in a modern western game of cat & mouse.
@@Kncperseus you are right...
But as a straifht man i think he is a handsome dude.
But i guess he doesnt fit the criteria for hollywood looks
He’s been crushing it for decades, was amazing in the shield 2 decades ago and has just continue showing up in great shows. One of the best in the business right now
@@Kncperseus I don't know why Hollywood doesn't appreciate him as much but it definitely isn't because of his looks
Plus he is Vault Boy! That right there is some crazy cool lore for longtime fans, even new.
Cant imagine this character being played by anyone else, both Pre-War and Ghoul versions are just full of heart and soul
While I mostly agree, I think Javier Bardem would do really well, too.
He is so fun in this series and i love that they have no hesitation in blood and gore at all very much befitting his character.
That wš genuinly suprising to me😂😂😂😂 the gore. And they realky went all out with that
One thing I ntoiced thay Goggins got spot on was the little side smile the "Trust Me" smile you'd see in old movies form the 50s.
Both characters do it for vastly differnt reasons. Its like a little bridge between Howard and the Ghoul that shows he is the same person but very changed.
Cooper Howard easily could be a MC of a fallout game
Easily, especially because he is the “vault boy” lol
I really do wish we got to play as Cooper instead of Nate in fallout 4. But I get it; west side of U.S, Hollywood cowboy actor, it’s the perfect set up.
If only Bethesda let us become a fucking ghoul just once.
@@victorpleitez768fallout 4 is trash in the story. Only way to enjoy fallout 4 is to ignore the story, take amphetamines, and focus on the gun mechanics.
@@The-Deaditeghouls were made during the bombs dropping. You can’t just breed them.
Ghouls are impossible. It’s not a choice you can make, and forcing a character to be a ghoul would ruin the RPG aspect of the game. Fallout 3/4 already restrict role playing. Forcing you to be a ghoul would be ruining the role playing.
Only game you could role play that much would be New Vegas. Since the Courier is the only protag character that has a completely blank slate. Even FO1 makes you a vault dweller to start. It’s impossible to implement a Ghoul in the games logic.
Binge watched on Sunday. Season 2 better happen. This was amazing. Great cast.
Already been confirmed!
I was completely entranced every time Cooper/Ghoul was on the screen. Phenomenal job, brother. Can't wait to see more of this character in S2.
Walton Goggins has that effect. Search for Boyd Crowder from Justified to see more of him being an outlaw.
Gotta love how much this show had Walton stretch his acting muscles for this one character
Fun Fact: Walton Goggins is HIM.
This might be my favorite tv show of all time
ITS RARE for a MOVIE in Hollywood to be good! let alone a movie or TV show thats a game adaptation to be good. Like one in a million type of rare.
Gee i wonder what most Hollywood studios think of this show? they must be mesmerized. One guy said on youtube, a tv show adaptation that is good is more rare than a solar eclipse. 🙏👍
This show was amazing and Walton Goggins was the peak of every episode, that character is fucking amazing and is going to be immortalized through this show.
All the characters in this series are awesome, but Walton Goggins is a gift to the big screen and has created one of those iconic character in this Series that will be remembered and has the depth and intrigue that could carry this series for a full string of 10 seasons and BOY do I hope that happens.
That first scene as the ghoul gave me chills. I loved him in Justified, but MAN he’s amazing in this role.
I remember Walton from Sons of Anarchy and others, He's very flexible and adaptive in these different roles
@Jabbles22Don't forget about Vice Principals!
Boyd Crowder from Justified.
The hateful 8 is the best
Community.
Also, sperm.
The Shield
Ella and him are terrific. Solid performances.
Boyd Crowder in Justified, Shane Vendrell in The Shield, Venus Van Damm in Sons of Anarchy, and now The Ghoul/Cooper Howard in Fallout. He’s worked with the likes of Quentin Tarantino, and he’s worked with the likes of Steven Spielberg. I truly believe that Walton Goggins is one of the most versatile actors working today. Be it television or film, he’s usually the best part of whatever he’s in and every project he’s attached to is that much better for it. I’ve been a fan of his work for years, glad to see him getting his flowers now. He never gives a bad performance.
Let's not forget Righteous Gemstones and Vice Principals. This guy better win an emmy this year. Heck, the whole cast needs to win emmys. This show is a true diamond in the rough.
I gotta give props to everyone who worked on Goggins' makeup. I was genuinely impressed with how good it looked in the show.
Goggins carried this series in an already stellar cast.
What an utterly devastating backstory
This is your Stranger Things Amazon Prime! Good job with nailing this to perfection and binge watching is BACK!
Hope its follow up seasons are better than the later seasons for Stranger Things, but I am excited for the future!
I know Walton has been in sooo many projects but I really feel like this one could put his career onto the next level.
He was put on the planet for this role. This show was incredible. Nicely done Amazon.
This character is such a badass and he has a strong heart. We need more shows that filmed like this and not putting too many CG effects on.
every time when his character on screen, his looks enhanced by CG.
I would guess there are very few shots in the show which don't used some form of CGi vfx. Hollywood just likes to,pretend at the moment they're not being used as much. They're being used more.
@@gordonrobb doesn't mean it's bad to use cgi.
@@Hjartulv sorry my reply was to the first guy. I think VFX is vital and shows like this are doing them so well folk don’t even realise how much vfx work there is.
Wrong. They literally cut his nose off for the role. What an actor!
Walton is the GOAT of the show! In-depth performance pre-war and such badass as the Goul.
dude has never missed. I love him in everything he does (especially as baby billy). Glad he's getting his flowers. Fallout was incredible.
I've always liked Walton Walton Goggins, I'm really happy that he got to work on this show.
It's pretty challenging stuff he's working with, but he's perfect and I'm glad he's getting this moment to shine.
He’s one of my all time favorite actors. Watching a father race away from a mushroom cloud with his daughter in his arms on horseback gave a genuine sinking feeling. That scene stuck with me.
Walton goggins is one of the best actors of our era..
Walton is such a perfect actor for the role.
I was so pleased to see Walton goggins play a cowboy/ghoul. It always takes me back to his amazing roles in those Tarantino films, especially ones like The Hateful 8 and Django Unchained. He's such an incredible actor, super happy to see him taking this on.
Boyd Crowder, Shane Vendrell, Chris Mannix, The Ghoul and lets not forget Venus Van Dam...amazing in all of those roles and many more! One of my favorite actors working today!
Goggins has always been one of my favorite actors. I think he killed it in Justified. Always plays the crazy guy so I was stoked when he did the Unicorn as he got to showcase other chops. Then I was super excited when I heard he was in Fallout. Really wishing the best for his future
Easily became my favorite character. Honest man betrayed, scarred by time, on a mission to seek revenge. Classic storyline being done incredibly well
Man Walton Goggins absolutely nailed the performance of the Ghoul, scene stealing performance, such a emphatic, nuanced deep performance from him. Stole the show. Fallout on Prime was simply phenomenal , captured the vibe and feel of the games perfectly 👏👏👏👏
Let's admit, Walton Goggins stole the show with each appareance.
And he did it awesomely
Walton you did a great job. Congratulations for the whole team for making such a good show and not messing it up
The Ghoul Stole The Show And Goggins deserves a Emmy Nomination. Can't wait for more of him and Lucy Together In Season 2.
Walton is an actor who deserves all his fucking flowers .
Goggins in Fallout is one of those times where you can tell in 30 seconds that a character is going to be the best thing about the entire series. 😄
I went in with no expectations and ended up binging the show. Walton is an easy fav, his presence and delivery are amazing and the series is fantastic.
Prime will have my attention for years if they keep these two shows going, Fallout and Outer Range.
Walton is the fuckin man, Nolan and Co really hit a home run with this show, some great characters and actors and really captured the spirit of fallout. Can’t wait for more
Dang glad that they cast him. Always been a fan kf him especially since the hateful eight. This just put the chery on top for one of my favorite actors.
Someone give this man an Emmy or Oscar, or whatever. He is Legend
The whole cast are great but he is my personal favourite from the show
He nailed both roles … the cast was very strong in this show but he was a step above his colleagues …
My man Walton playing the same character but different personality. Give this man a big leading roles pls.
Once I seen who the actor was I just knew it was golden. Knocked it out the park times 10. Everything about this series from the casting to the lighting to the setting the little details was amazing. I can see 5 seasons easily with the concept.
Great actor. From the shield to justified and now to fallout, always play a unique character.
This guy is really a legend man. 🤘🏻When he takes roles he really owns them imo. We all can never forget one of them being Venus Van Damme ☠️☠️💀
Walton Goggins is 100% the reason why I watched this show. He was fanatastic in Fallout!
this show is SOOO GOOD!
I KNOW RIGHT ☝️😎🔥🔥
I knew it was the same actor, but my first watch through, did not realize they were the same character in two different eras. After realizing it, The Ghoul became even more of a badass to me. Mr. Goggins was an excellent choice.
Best ghoul ever :)
Deserves an Emmy nod
Season 2 announcement lets go!
As much as I loved the Ghoul, I think I liked the pre-war stuff more. I didn't expect to be as engrossed in the Vault-Tec / family drama as I was. Hope we see more pre-war Cooper in season 2.
I love all those 50s sound track.
Loved the way it played out. Using scenes from both stories in time was awesome
Acting 10/10 , stole the spotlight IMO as the most interesting and badass character in the show, never could have imagined it being a ghoul.
This show is 🔥
perfect characters for this show
True man...
This man should have been a star much earlier, some actors are given importance sometimes late... I think he will receive many offers as a leading actor after this series. Unfortunately, I only remember him from the movie Shanghai Knights, I would like to remember him in many more movies... I hope he will have more chances from now on.
The Ghoul is what keeps the show together. He is the character with most dramatic power and interest.
Mr. Goggins is a fine actor and it was a pleasure to watch him perform.
Walton would make a good Robocop, he's got a Petter Weller vibe.
We're in April, and I'm 100% convinced this is gonna be my first or second favorite show of the year. God dang what a great show. Nothing but top notch performances.
The Ghoul is a MASTERPIECE...
I just love this guy. He could literally become anyone.
Never played Fallout but this show was awesome on every level - Goggins killing it as the Ghoul
I cannot wait for season 2. Season 1 was incredible with incredible characters, namely the Ghoul. He stole every single scene he was in.
THE BEST THAT I WATCH FOR THIS YEAR
He and the one who plays his kid sold the opening for me. I thought I would be desensitized by the nuclear explosion, but their acting relay the fear and hopelessness masterfully that I genuinely feel the dread and of course sad for them.
the goul is my new fav character in a show
I've heard a lot of good things about Walton Goggins but this is the first time I've seen him in action, and wow, I'll definitely be checking out the rest of his filmography
I hope Amazon puts just as much resources into Season 2 as 1. Don't go down on quality now.
petition for a prequel/spin-off showing what happens to Cooper Howard from the end of the world up to the point where he becomes The Ghoul.
THE BEST TV SERIES I'VE EVER WATCHED
Honestly, I adore him in both "forms" as part of Fallout. He just fits.
Loved Jake Garber’s work on The Walking Dead. I enjoyed his cameo as chicken farmer.
Great series and good story lines. Great job Prime.
love the show. and Goggins was amazing in it. well done Amazon.
I love that they gave him that Boyd Crowder persona. Absolutely perfect
Well done on this series.
ONE OF THE GREATEST TV SHOW CHARACTERS I HAVE EVER SEEN ISTG WALTON IS HIM
The Ghoul is such a great character. Honestly, all three leads are really great and have great chemistry… REALLY excited to see what’s in store for season 2!!!
i’m so in love with walton it’s crazy. AND COOPER?????? I CANT EVEN FUNCTION WHEN HIM OR THE GHOUL IS ON SCREEN. SO IN LOVE
this show is absolutely insane. all the cast and people behind the scenes are 10/10
I am old enough (barely) to remember the tail end of The Cold War. The opening scene when the bombs are going off brought back some extremely unpleasant memories for me. It was terrifying in a way I thought I had forgotten.
Give this man all the awards
They couldn’t have picked a better person to portray a “outlaw” style character for such a show like this.
Best Waltons performance by far - he's magnetic in this!!!
Walton is amazing! It took me a while to realize Cooper was the ghoul!
Thats just how good of an actor he is. He is by far my favorite actor in the series because he really puts soul into the characters!
