They should have requested manna dey ji to sing LAGA CHUNRI PE DAAR or JHANAK JHANAK TORE BAJE PAYALIYA. That would have really been very nice to listen because manna dey ji is master of classical singing.
Am from Chennai and understand that Dey ji had learnt shashtriya music too. Has given a full classical concert too - away from film music? Friends may throw light.
