obviously he tried to talk to her, didn't you watch any scence with vi when ekko said he can't help her because he did try to help but only remain is jinx. And jinx did knowing ekko, ekko always put on mask to doing some "working", if this is the first time jinx saw ekko, she would not mocking him.
That’s because his arc hasn’t come full circle yet. The main characters arcs are dignified by there eye color. Grey means not fully developed and blue means fully developed. His remain Grey with a green undertone during the finale of the season which means he’s probably gonna be more prominent is season 2
tbh jinx is a bad person and there's no denying that, but i kinda thank silco for accepting her for who she is when nobody else did. he constantly told her she was perfect. those were even his last words.
Ekko definitely had a hard time. He lost everything too. Benzo, Vander, all his friends and his best friend. He probably would have preferred Powder to actually die instead of seeing her become Jinx instead, a corrupted person who he could have loved in a better life.
Yeah they didn't focus on him, but he lost everything that day too. Poor kid was left completely alone and traumatized, and probably didn't know even jinx was alive for a long time. it's no wonder he grew up to be as tough as he is
@@eggu-eggu Oh I never said I disagreed with the way they chose to tell the story. I love Jinx to death and going too deep into even more stories would have felt really crammed. I was just pointing out that it seems to be overlooked by viewers sometimes, the things we don't see on screen. He does have parents, but viewers who haven't gone and read the lore separately don't know that. He spends all his time with the characters we see, and then loses them all in a day. I do hope he gets more screen time next season though, even if that means it's a longer season or smth!
@@ProjectExMachina True, knowing Ekko, he probably tried several times and Jinx always refused. He probably drew the line when she went ape shit and killed his other friends.
I also want to point out. I don't think Powder became like that because she lost everything, she became Jinx because it was because of HER that she lost everything. That's why she has a mental breakdown, unlike Ekko
Keep in mind that Arcane (currently) is NOT CANON. Ekko lost a lot less in the actual lore... One of his stories is the most wholesome thing in all of League; he goes home to his parents (who are both alive and well in canon) and sits down to a nice family dinner, he then rewinds time just so he can have more time with them all being together.
I mean, one of the in-game LoL Ekko lines to Jinx is "I used to have a crush on you until you started talking to your gun" as the title implies so like - isn't that surprising
I fully believe Jinx wanted to die on that bridge as Powder, not Jinx with Ekko. Singed brought Jinx back not Powder. The bridge to Jinx is what the River is to Silco.
You're 100% right about that. Powder has always been classified with grey eyes, Jinx has blue and later pinkish-purple eyes. At the start of the fight, when Jinx chuckles sardonically like she can't believe Ekko wants to relive a childhood game, slipping into standing position and cocking her gun, her eyes are very obviously blue. But when we go into the flash-back/foresight sequence, and come out of it with Ekko bashing Jinx to the ground, Powder's eyes are clearly grey, even when she unlatches the grenade. That's why Ekko hesitated. He _saw_ Powder.
Jinx actually let Ecco live. Her grenades are able to attach on to clothing, but instead she kind of warned him by rolling it on the ground. Ecco didn’t want Jinx to die either, so during the scene when Ecco is running away you hear a click or ding. This indicates that Ecco kicked the grenade away from jinx which is probably the only reason she’s alive. That and dRuGs lol
Ekko and the Firelights didn’t just run into Jinx for the first time in Ep4. Ekko has grown up watching Jinx’s descent. He had given up because of the many terrible things she had done and the inability to get through to her. That’s why she calls him the boy saviour as he is the main opposition to Silco. But, for that one moment on the bridge, her eyes turned from blue, back to grey, like when she was a kid. For a moment he found Powder again and that’s why he couldn’t finish her. I think, in that moment, she realised how far she had fallen and wanted to end it all.
It really hits hard because I just KNOW how hard Ekko tried to get through to Jinx. They were 10-11 years old in Act I, and by Act II they look to be 18 or 19. That means they've spent nearly a _decade_ watching each other grow up on the opposite side, into someone they can no longer reach. Ekko says with absolute certainty that Jinx is too far gone. Without a doubt he's tried talking it out and doing everything he can to get Powder back, but nothing worked. That fight reminded both of them of who they used to be. For Ekko, that reminder resulted in a costly moment of hesitation where he couldn't bring himself to harm his old friend. And for Jinx, that reminder showed her how much they've changed, and how far she'd fallen: in that moment, she really wanted to die.
@@jchen8902 and for every1 who has played the game , its hinted that ekko is a heartbroken hero from his first trailer and his interactions with jinx in game, thats why this episode hits alot harder for those who play the game and read up on the lore
you actually see this in episode 4, though we don't realize it yet. Jinx killed multiple of Ekko's friends defending that cargo, to the point where he tried fighting her with anger, even when time was almost up for the crystals. He's seen firsthand, the death that Jinx has caused, willingly. He can't bear that this used to be his friend.
she realized how far she had fallen? ehhh did u not watch the series???? she was on board 110%..... realize how far she has fallen lol, it looks like she is just getting started...
I am pretty sure it's from LoR, not LoL. Edit: When I typed this, I assumed he was referring to "Powder, I... I missed you so much." quote in the video, which is from LoR. My bad.
It's interesting to realize that Jinx is doing everything she can to not be Powder anymore. Deep inside she wants nothing more than to be the Powder that Vi and the others loved, but that Powder is the person that got her friends and father killed; she can't go back to that, because the guilt will destroy her completely. That's why the only road she can take is to completely give in to the persona she's created for herself; be it as a punishment and agreeing with Milo and Vi calling her a jinx, or as an escape from the suffering that rots inside the real her.
Also to further reinforce this she has the tattoos of the blue cloud of the explosion to further prove her guilt of killing them and remembering it, she also built the clag and mylo dolls i feel like she did this to remind her of her guilt to not let powder out
Deep inside, Ekko knows everything started from him tipping his friends about Jayce's apartment. Had Ekko not done that, he could have had a longer time with them.
Well this is what i believe to be jinx actually acting. SPOILERRR!!! Jinx does this again in the last episode with caitlyn, she tricks people with her natural submissive eyes and distracts them.
@@milowisgrosstm9290 you can say that prior to her being saved by Singed, Powder still has slight control over her real self. Her face being bashed in with a fist in that scene would definitely show her true vulnerable self and that grenade was her last ditch effort to stop the punching which she can definitely blame Jinx with. The situation with Caitlyn is now abusing Powder's vulnerability for Jinx's benefit. The true self has shifted roles and is now used as manipulation compared to before when she would use her Jinx personality as a shield to hide her real self from others.
I think it was more a case of the violence specifically coming from her childhood friend. If it was anyone else then Jinx could take it, recall the first scene of her standing off against Sevika. I don't like talking as though Powder and Jinx are different people, but for the sake of clarity I think what happened here is the small amount of Powder remaining in Jinx came out and she was afraid of what she was and of who was hurting her, then smiled at Ekko pleased to see him again, as though nothing changed from ep 3. The reason I say she might be afraid of what she was is because of the arguable suicide attempt immediately after this. This backfires on her though when she's made more of a monster through the shimmer treatment that saved her life.
@@handsomemac1621 I like this take because of Jinx’s innate self loathing. That’s what the whole dinner scene was about, which part of her needed to go and which should stay. In Jinxs eyes Silco loved her more than Vi did which is why she remains as Jinx. Afterall his last words were “you’re perfect” that cleared up any misconceptions of if she needed to change.
@@MykeThaOrphan0209 Tbh they could just catch her, give her a shitload of amnestics and when she wakes up, everyone is like "Silco who? Jinx what? You're Powder" and it's GG.
I questioned why he had a mural of her on the wall when it's already established Jinx was with Silco, then the fight scene came. He was in love with her and still was. I'm just glad the show creators didn't do the cliche of Jinx faking being 'nice/vulnerable' to win the fight. She may be insane, but she isn't an asshole.
She absolutely is an asshole and she did the exact thing you just described to lure the enforcers into her trap She knows the enforcers aren't bad people, else she wouldn't try to lure them to their death by making them try to save a little girl She kills innocents and allies indiscriminately and her methods never factor in the safety of bystanders who have nothing to do with her quarrels Plus she keeps calling the guy Chuck even though he said that's not his name... If you think Jinx is not an asshole then who is?
@@icarusmustfly Jinx is a victim of all the brutality she experienced during her childhood. Enforcers may not be the bad people, but they are working for bad and ignorant people who neglected everyone who lived in the underworld as if they were not worth anything at all, including powder. They brought it upon themselves really. And I'm not saying Jink isn't wrong for doing all she did you know, cause she is, she killed innocent people like you said. What I'm trying to say is that she's not the origin of all these problems. She is also a victim is my eyes.
@@MySer18 Jinx was created because of the incident at the warehouse. What broke her mind was the tragedy and trauma of her unintentionally killing her friends, followed by her sister seemingly abandoning her. Then she was raised by an extremely sinister man in Silco who clearly did nothing to stop her descent into madness. Jinx is a victim, but making her murderous nature into a product of a corrupt system ignores the very personal psychological trauma that pushed Powder's mind into insanity. Regardless the show does not try to justify Jinx's actions, only explain the reasoning for them. It clearly does not take the side of Jinx being some righteous fighter battling the unjust system. In fact I would say none of the characters are motivated by such noble purpose, except maybe Ekko, and perhaps Mel by the end.
look i love jinx and i believe she's a victim of her circumstances, but she is an asshole, no doubt. very complex character that still manages to pull at our heartstrings
The "i missed you so much" quote gives me so much hope 🥺, since LoR it's the most canon for the LoL lore and this quote comes from there, it makes me think there is a point where Ekko could say that to Powder in the future of Arcane, cuz rn as we know there is no way Ekko would say that to Jinx.
he does gains sudo-time travel so they could just pull a cope out and have him have a chat with powder in the past. or for a really fun story moment, have someone eventually create an anti-shimmer drug which temporality clears her mind of the madness and we get that interating. but also going from the context of LOR, it is more like him saying how he misses powder while watching the madness of jinx.
@@spinozilla2421 hence the statment "sudo-time travel" most of the wierd what-ifs were not things that he can do normally and would have to be whole event in of themselves.

This show was an absolute masterpiece, through and through. Ep 9 was really something. Goodbye, Arcane; thanks for giving me the opportunity to experience you.
In Legends of Runaterra (the card game). The line Ekko says when Jinx enters as an ally is one that he answers after she enters saying: - Just you ´n me, fishbones! Ugh... and them. To which Ekko responds: - Man, I miss you so much... It does reinforce the original quote from Ekko about the crush since he mentions that she, not only became crazy (stated by the talking to the guns thingy), but actually forgot about him and probably others.
Initially, I was thinking like you but I played Jinx in LoR. And I saw that this is her default voice line, meaning that she can say it when she's summoned.
@@recep36 UA-cam won´t let me add links, but I am sure I can just explain it (...) While it is true that the "Just you ´n me, fishbones...!" is one of her 4 generic quotes, remember how dialogues work in LOR. If a certain character is already present on the board, Jinx will say one of the lines that have an interaction with. A nice example is seen from Discard aggro (Jinx+Draven). When Jinx enters she says: "Rules are made to be broken... like buildings! Or people!" to which Draven responds: "You should try blinking sometime." If there are multiple interactions, it depends on whether it is an allied or enemy champion involved. That being said, characters tend to :respond: to the lines; Another example is that Zoe has the generic line of: "Reality is just your mind crumbling under what it doesn't understand, silly!" when summoned, but Viktor responds: "Impossible, years of empirical evidence." Even though Zoe has like a 100 different lines from most Targon units already on board. So just because it is her generic line, it doesn´t take away the value of the answers given by the champions who answer since they do respond to the message at hand, it´s not a response just made for the sakes of adding it.
I'm honestly curious were Powder would've ended up she stayed in the bar. Like would she be a firelight, bar tender, shimmer addicted? Hell she still could've become Jinx just with more fucked up visions tbh since she'd probably carry guilt from not going.
@@ebrxh2721 They were about the warehouse but the kid that was infected was still good. He could've still chased them. Would they have all died? Probably not but I'm almost positive They would've got one of them.
@@ebrxh2721 And they were going to just run away after a four-story drop? Even if they did, Vander and Silco both surviving was the worst case scenario. There would be civil war in the lanes with enforcers there to beat down and haul off the remaining combattants to Stillwater.
The powder he knew was nearly gone since to her it seemed like no one wanted her, so she became a former shell of herself and to an extent lost herself in insanity
Honestly Echo is one of the most interesting characters in Arcane, and with so little screen time. He is literally the paralleled to Jinx. They're bother tinkers, they both lost their father figures that night as well as the rest of the family, as a consequence from their actions (so there is a level a guilt in both of them). Echo more so than Jinx, because Jinx saw the death happened but Echo was the one left behind to find the remaining bodies and piece together the carnage. While Jinx is helping Silco expand the underground, Echo (despite being the youngest), created a whole society where the outcast can find hope again. And its so impressive and sad to think he had to do all of this on his own. Fend for himself as he sees his home slowly decaying with the effects of shimmer and as he sees his only childhood friend become a psychopath. And not just fend, but thrive- create- and share the compassion. So awesome Edit: for yall coming for me over writing his name wrong, i was using speech-to-text but fuck yall im not correcting it now 😂 peace ✌️
@@askthySev in Arcane, Ekko does witness the carnage and death of his father figure. When he unlocks Vi from the door in the room Vander puts her in, Ekko is in shock until he hugs her and breaks down into tears saying "I saw everything."
Ekko saw the death of his father, Powder caused her father's death. One has guilt and the other had helplessness. I think that helplessness is what inspired Ekko to become the hero and leader he did, whereas Jynx became cruel so she wouldn't be questioned and could avoid her guilt and trauma. Thing is, her whole life ended up revolving around it, aswell as exposing her to more triggers. It's never said outright, but it's implied that Ekko actually worked through his trauma.
@@orbismworldbuilding8428 The guilt on Jinx definitely carries over to haunt her and impacts heavily on her decision making since she hallucinates her friends/"brothers": Mylo and Claggor, more so than for Vander. She doesn't have a good way to cope with their passings since Silco was there to immediately pick her up. I feel like Silco "replaced" himself as Vander for Jinx as the missing father figure, but no one else was there to "replace" Mylo, Claggor, or Vi for Jinx.
I just realized what the crow signifies. I have watched these clips over again more then 200 times. And i never understood why Ekko was a beatle and Jinx was a Crow. Crows are known for bad luck... and the one scene in ep 4 where she shot one in her old hangout place...that was her shooting who she truly is. Fighting what she was for one last second to go back in time and remincise.
Thats not true. Crows Stand for Transformation and Change, her transformation to Jinx. When she Shot the Crow she wasnt ready to become fully Jinx, but in that Ekko fight scene, she accepted her Transformation and didnt fought against it anymore. Thats btw why the crow is only seen when they are kids. Cause they changed.
@@Aetherpeter in the Ekko fight scene she was still powder lmao, if anything she was the most powder. 0:40 The way this particular scene conveys the ugliness of fighting amongst old friends and seeing the panic in Powder's eyes as she's getting her face beaten to death by her old friend is just so heartbreaking. The way it was all animated and the facial expressions these two both give off makes the scene feel so realistic. I can honestly see faces like that being made by real-life couples/siblings physically fighting each other.

I hope that his crush on powder is explored in arcane. I really want there to be a moment where he tells vi how painful it was to see powder turn into jinx. I actually hope that in arcane jinx gets a redemption arc. I haven't played league of legends, but I wonder if arcane will be written differently
I think redemption is in order . and everybodies shes a "massmurderer statement " is kinda bland like conan, soloman kane and xena the warrior princess were heroes or anti heroes but i dont see anybody giving them flack about that stuff. Mine you they fight alot morally questionable people
If you don't want to ruin your hopes about the "jinx redemption arc" I recommend you not reading further but.............. Jinx probably will never have one, and if something good will happen to her it would only be some moments of clarity. She is in the game, suggesting she is alive (since her lore doesnt say she's dead too) but she is also the crazy person in arcane, if not worse. You can watch "get jinxed", its basically a cinematic abt her doing some crazy stuff to piltover and the one scene is basically the ending scene from arcane but a bit more extra. Anyway, it shows that she does way more things other than """only""" blow up the council. She continues to cause havoc over piltover which you can read in her lore (even tho it doesnt talk about explosions and stuff neccessarily) and yeah, is ingame also the crazy person, if not worse, we know from arcane.
@@CrunchCrunchCrunchyCrunch arcane is also seperated from the main game lore put into its own continuity so they dont have to fuck with the game lore too btw. So they could technically do what they want with it too.
@@blackouthorus1519 Possible spoilers OP: How is it seperated from the main game lore? I get more the feeling they're working on things which arent in the little stories they give for each champion, and will give a more in depth background story. And I feel like they're changing up some parts of the lore or uptade some stories since a lot of the champs in arcane are pretty old by now. Like yeah, caitlyns story is pretty different but keep in mind, she was just uptaded a few months ago, and the small story doesnt give any idea about her backstory. And if they would change a lot it would be shitty, lets be honest. Viktors could be something, even tho I get the feeling it would be pretty cool to see more in depth why he is the way he is now/in the game. Not everyone needs a redemption arc and Jinx is one of them. A few moments of clarity, I could see that. But a whole redemption arc? I cannot see that with who she is. She did to much already, probably killing the cauncil in the last episode as example. Would be pretty lazy to just forgive her just because she is traumatized and is mentally just completey gone. If I could see something it would be her death, but they would need to make it that it's a few years into the future from when the games play. (like yeah, obviously its probably a thing which just continues otherwise things like the ruined event wouldnt make sense like that. ok the whole event doesnt make sense kinda, somehow) + I don't believe anyway that they'll change a lot, since as far as I know basically the same people working on arcane are the ones working on the world from runeterra and all the characters lore, so it wouldnt necessarily make sense for them to just change everything without something lore wise uptading in the future
@@CrunchCrunchCrunchyCrunch ya know how tv shows never stick too the lore like one of the champions is dead and founder of the piltover academy jayce and viktor go too.

Jinx did that for herself. As every other time she attached or launched them at her opposition. She gave him the choice to avoid it, but I think she prefered if they both went. Considering they're the parallel to each other and experienced all the fall out. Plus her memory their time together was the only one not shown to be corrupted/warped by her current state.
I remember that one scene where Vi and Ekko were arguing with each other, Ekko looks like a legit gang leader but when Vi hugged him he showed us that the little boy we all remember is still there. That scene alone gave Ekko character, so excited for more Ekko screentime in season 2
@GraffitiTurtle Yeah but he didn’t stop hitting her because Jinx was a girl- just because he suddenly saw remnants of his old friend (Powder) and was reluctant to kill her
@@georgkroux8554 I think he meant that explicitly in this arcane artstyle she looks good and I agree. In the game she‘s just one of the many champs that need a splash art rework
I have a feeling that when Jinx says “I’m glad it’s you. Had to be you” in the Season 2 teaser, that she might actually be talking to Ekko. I think that Jinx will do a Darth Vader and, in some way, redeem herself before the ‘end’ when she totally loses her sanity. But I really hope that she, in some way, heals things with Ekko.

This is my favourite edit, ever, i come back to it every once in a while to feel safe again. With season 2's release, even more depth was added to these scenes. Thank you for pouring love on Ekko and Powder since they one, i always read them as endgame since the beginning but too few seemed to agree with that even with all the potential it already had. Thank you season 2 for bringing them to light, allow them to shine and have their sweet moments together.
I really wished Arcane explored a little bit more on their relationship. Ekko seeing the transformation of Powder to Jinx must have really affected him. Hope we see more in season 2
"I'm gonna pack my things and leave you behind, this feelings old and i know that i made up my mind, but i love you so." AAAAA ISNT THAT JINX AT THE END OF S2 ACT 3 (when she faked her death)
When you realize that Ekko was the one who tipped them off in episode one, only to discover the bodies caused by Silco. And then he sees his former friend work for Silco, and actually kill some of his Firelight friends in episode 4, which probably isn't the first time he's seen her do this. Hell, he lashed out and tried attacking her after that happened. He says that Jinx is all that's there. That Powder is gone, he's seen it firsthand throughout the years. But in the end, when the chips are down, he still can't bear to go for the final blow to his childhood friend.
The chemistry they both had in this one small scene - the frustration, anger, regret, sadness, wishfulness, loss, love, of two people who grew up together - arcane is such a work of art.
Ekko left a same but not so completely different universe where everyone who died is alive and doing well to save his own. Truly deserves "Boy Savior" title from his beloved
do you ever just think a show is just about the worst possible timeline and that everything would have been fine if just someone made one arbitrary decision differently. These kids, no this whole cast, deserve happiness and mental stability, my heart just breaks when I watch this.
I bet Ekko still likes powder, but he seperates Jinx and Powder more than necessary by saying "she's dead," "you can't bring her back" etc because Ekko doesn't want to accept that Jinx and Powder are the same person but Jinx uses a different name to dissociate from her issues instead of dealing with them the same way Ekko does. The true tragedy of Jinx and Ekko is that if Ekko had tried to save her from silco, or anything like that, she probably doesn't know and silco probably purposely said something like that she chose to be with him when he manipulated her into staying and wanted her to stay because he saw himself in her and Ekko only couldnt save her because of Silco. This show is such a mess but I fcking adore it
The true tragedy is that we now know, thanks to a scene that didn't make the final cut of episode 7 that he did try to save her and in the end for whatever reason, she chose silco over him. Ekko's anger and feelings of betrayal feel so much more real and are just as valid as jinxes now because he really did try instead of just writing her off at first.
I’d be hella fucking creepy if he still liked a version of Jinx that’s 9 years old. I think this is more about the general love and nostalgia you feel for lost childhood friends and the version of yourself you lost with them. They both still care about the person the other used to be but isn’t anymore. Jinx can never be Powder again and Ekko can never be a carefree boy again.
damn after seeing this, i really wish they showed ekko having a crush on powder before she turned. would be so much more impactful when they fight at the bridge.
Imagine instead of Silco finding powder, echo did. She probably would've became attached to Echo but since they are closer in age either a brother/sister thing or a Lover thing. She would've been an inventor for the firelights for sure. Maybe no missions though. Like a stay at home supporter. I feel echo would've helped with the trauma and maybe she would've been a den mother for the refugee kids. Just a thought.
@@bernardobastos5996 Don't think so, depends on how things worked on the Fireflight's side. Neither Vander nor Vi ever botheres actually training Powder, they just gave her motivational speeches and expected results. Ekko is a trinker, so is she. After ep 7 in season 2 Ekko realised that he still loved her even in the main timeline. He realised that Jinx and Powder are one and the same and he will care for her, no matter what. He gave up on her, and he couldn't believe it. The fact that he went straight to her hideout, saved her from her suicide attempt(s) and even gave her a purpose in life, says so much about how selfless his character is not only for her but for everyone he holds dear. Also since the Arcane artbook is from Jinxs perspective and technically canon and from her new lines from her new canon skin... Yeah she definitely loves him back as in romantically just like he does for her. I really hope for a spinoff show or some small episodes between these two, since she is definitely alive and them redeveloping their relationship, both platonically and romantically.
The fact that Jinx could have pulled the trigger when they were fighting but didn't and let Ekko beat her up instead just proves that she still cared for him. Arcane/ LoL, wtf....Why do you have to kill us this way??/ HUH!!??

The bridge to Jinx is what the River is to Silco.
omg u are so right!!!

You are right!!!
wow! i didn’t even think of that!! 😧

He did says "she's here" Ekko defintely has known Jinx for longer than was shown
It really hits hard because I just KNOW how hard Ekko tried to get through to Jinx.

Also to further reinforce this she has the tattoos of the blue cloud of the explosion to further prove her guilt of killing them and remembering it, she also built the clag and mylo dolls i feel like she did this to remind her of her guilt to not let powder out
that actually explains a lot of things
That's deep, and I also think it's true

In Legends of Runaterra (the card game). The line Ekko says when Jinx enters as an ally is one that he answers after she enters saying:
- Just you ´n me, fishbones! Ugh... and them.

@@davidgribble6313 I think she also has a line where she calls Caitlyn "cupcake."
When Jinx enters she says:
"Rules are made to be broken... like buildings! Or people!"
to which Draven responds:
"You should try blinking sometime."
If there are multiple interactions, it depends on whether it is an allied or enemy champion involved. That being said, characters tend to :respond: to the lines;
Another example is that Zoe has the generic line of:
"Reality is just your mind crumbling under what it doesn't understand, silly!" when summoned, but Viktor responds: "Impossible, years of empirical evidence."
Even though Zoe has like a 100 different lines from most Targon units already on board.
So just because it is her generic line, it doesn´t take away the value of the answers given by the champions who answer since they do respond to the message at hand, it´s not a response just made for the sakes of adding it.

@@CrunchCrunchCrunchyCrunch arcane is also seperated from the main game lore put into its own continuity so they dont have to fuck with the game lore too btw. So they could technically do what they want with it too.
@@blackouthorus1519 Possible spoilers OP:
How is it seperated from the main game lore?
(like yeah, obviously its probably a thing which just continues otherwise things like the ruined event wouldnt make sense like that. ok the whole event doesnt make sense kinda, somehow)
+ I don't believe anyway that they'll change a lot, since as far as I know basically the same people working on arcane are the ones working on the world from runeterra and all the characters lore, so it wouldnt necessarily make sense for them to just change everything without something lore wise uptading in the future
@@CrunchCrunchCrunchyCrunch ya know how tv shows never stick too the lore like one of the champions is dead and founder of the piltover academy jayce and viktor go too.
The way she looks at him at 0:46 kills me 😭 it turns into a small smile like she cares and loves him but has to do this
Bro for the sake of the rest of your movie/show viewing career, there is not an ounce of a smile in that last shot.
You must be blind but That’s your opinion. Either way for the sake of myself i’m blocking you. Have a good day, actually for the sake of everyone, don’t

I remember seeing someone insinuate that the grenade wasn't for Ekko- it was for her. I think I kinda believe that.
Jinx did that for herself. As every other time she attached or launched them at her opposition. She gave him the choice to avoid it, but I think she prefered if they both went. Considering they're the parallel to each other and experienced all the fall out. Plus her memory their time together was the only one not shown to be corrupted/warped by her current state.
i just started crying cause ekko had to grow up knowing powder was becoming jinx
Here after season 2. We saw them together finally, but at what cost...
It's is so sad that there are no scenes between powder and ekko in act 1
That’s why hy there were scenes in the enemy mv..
@@Tmtrnr22 that's no where near enough tho
@@osasob007 Yeah idk why they didn’t find time to include these scenes in the show would have made the fight more dramatic between jinx and ekko
@@Tmtrnr22 maybe its a build up for season 2 which is a great idea for the audience to look forward to
i dont remember any SPECIFIC scenes
but all i remember was that claggor mylo and vi were kinda mean to powder
but ekko was suppportive
in my opinion
vi and jinx meeting up again was cool and all
but ekko and jinx scene really made you remember how close they used to be
The most popular and beloved couple from the show!
I remember that one scene where Vi and Ekko were arguing with each other, Ekko looks like a legit gang leader but when Vi hugged him he showed us that the little boy we all remember is still there. That scene alone gave Ekko character, so excited for more Ekko screentime in season 2
Love Ekko for believing in gender equality when it comes to these hands
This game and show might be rated T for Teen, but these hands are E for Everyone
well he was always ready to kill the jinx but not the powder version
He punch her with stopwatch in hand damn, idk if it enchances power or not but still
@GraffitiTurtle Yeah but he didn’t stop hitting her because Jinx was a girl-
just because he suddenly saw remnants of his old friend (Powder) and was reluctant to kill her
i can feel the the great kazuma is please
Ekko is clearly the underlying hero in this. he’s a well developed leader for his age
Bro is a prophet
jinx is so sweet looking
She can go from insane smile to puppy face.. from Jinx to Powder
League of legends jinx splash art tho is just 2 much. The almost bold head of her and those purple eyes make me wanna puke
Good taste uh I mean good perspective.
i like the way she s tall and oretty cute looking when she plays it crazy
@@georgkroux8554 I think he meant that explicitly in this arcane artstyle she looks good and I agree. In the game she‘s just one of the many champs that need a splash art rework
I have a feeling that when Jinx says “I’m glad it’s you. Had to be you” in the Season 2 teaser, that she might actually be talking to Ekko.
I think that Jinx will do a Darth Vader and, in some way, redeem herself before the ‘end’ when she totally loses her sanity. But I really hope that she, in some way, heals things with Ekko.
It makes a lot more sense that she’d be talking to Vi, though
@@himothy-yojimothy if you look at the trailer they use a lot of ‘false leads’. Nothing they show in the trailers is quite like how it really is.
GAME SPOILERS!! if the show follows the game, then jinx stays jinx. powder never ends up returning. i dont think she has made any progress with ekko or vi either in the game
@@virargo Let them breathe the hopium.
I think she might be talking to Vander/Warwick, but-
even sadder after 2x7
i totally can believe Ekko thinks its his fault everything went down, had he not said anything about the apartment, nothing would have started. I feel so bad for that kid, the others i see grow up, Ekko looking at him, hes still that same sad lonely kid. It fucking sucks 😟
he wasn't sad and lonely though... at least originally he had his parents and he was an apprentice.
He ain't lonely, he got the firelight squad well until jinx killed most of them.
here ill reply to my own comment because im getting "Hes not lonely!" replys. Hes an orphan, who starts helping other family's and people to be safe in the under city. BRO IS FUCKING LONLEY 🤣 He has no family, as far as he knew, all his friends were dead until Vi showed up, and the only friend he knew was still alive was Jinx, who he doesn't even like by the time he meets up with Vi.... So yeah, EKKO BE A LONELY KID
@@hooddaddy7124 I am sure Ekko considers the Firelights and those people in the sanctuary he created as family/friends considering he's willing to put his life on the line for them.
@@manmanopoly8047 ye im sure too, but they are dead, when Vi shows up... so Ekkos alone ecpet the people he saved which im sure help him, but they aren't his friends, or his team. So hes alone
Ekko was ready to kill Jinx right there and then... but he wasn't prepared to kill Powder...
And if she hadn’t started talking to the gun, the crush would have continued.
what it could've been
I really wished Arcane explored a little bit more on their relationship. Ekko seeing the transformation of Powder to Jinx must have really affected him. Hope we see more in season 2
This became even better after act 3
"I'm gonna pack my things and leave you behind, this feelings old and i know that i made up my mind, but i love you so." AAAAA ISNT THAT JINX AT THE END OF S2 ACT 3 (when she faked her death)
damn it’s been over two years since this was originally recommended to me and it’s hits so much harder after act 3 😭 timebomb i love u so much
I came from the future and after I saw the arcane ending im depressed
now this hurts way more than before
i always felt like eeko had feelings for powder
he actually does, the video's title was his taunt to jinx in League of Legends, so after watching arcane, that explains alot.
..until she started talking to a gun
The only flaw in the show is we didn't get enough childhood scenes where they hung out.
Ekko realized that Jinx was just a scared little girl when he saw it in her eyes
Man that part always gets me
When you realize that Ekko was the one who tipped them off in episode one, only to discover the bodies caused by Silco.
The fact that they grew up together makes the cut that much deeper
The chemistry they both had in this one small scene - the frustration, anger, regret, sadness, wishfulness, loss, love, of two people who grew up together - arcane is such a work of art.
Jinx is beautiful girl with a Mind that is broken and beyond repair.
Arcane season 1: Ekko vs Jinx. After 3 years, Ekko and Powder.
Ekko left a same but not so completely different universe where everyone who died is alive and doing well to save his own.
Truly deserves "Boy Savior" title from his beloved
Here after the ending. This ship sank, all the crew members drowned and the wreckage was set on fire.
can we pretend like it's the first time?
do you ever just think a show is just about the worst possible timeline and that everything would have been fine if just someone made one arbitrary decision differently. These kids, no this whole cast, deserve happiness and mental stability, my heart just breaks when I watch this.
Rewatching all these clips after the season 2 is just such a trip
coming back to this after 2 years
times have changed now
I bet Ekko still likes powder, but he seperates Jinx and Powder more than necessary by saying "she's dead," "you can't bring her back" etc because Ekko doesn't want to accept that Jinx and Powder are the same person but Jinx uses a different name to dissociate from her issues instead of dealing with them the same way Ekko does.
Every freaking scene now has twice as much impact after season 2 holy 😢
Imagine instead of Silco finding powder, echo did. She probably would've became attached to Echo but since they are closer in age either a brother/sister thing or a Lover thing. She would've been an inventor for the firelights for sure. Maybe no missions though. Like a stay at home supporter. I feel echo would've helped with the trauma and maybe she would've been a den mother for the refugee kids. Just a thought.
All she would have done is mess things up and the Firelights would have ended up like Vander and the Crew lol.
@@bernardobastos5996 Bruh, Mylo, is that you?
@@bernardobastos5996 Don't think so, depends on how things worked on the Fireflight's side. Neither Vander nor Vi ever botheres actually training Powder, they just gave her motivational speeches and expected results.
Ekko is a trinker, so is she. She'd definitely learn a lot with Ekko, be it from him teaching her, or from her watching him. Plus, the age difference would make it easier, they'd understand eachother.
Seeing this after the S2 act 3 hits different
this hurts even worse after seeing what could've been
Ep7 Brought us all back here
This has a new meaning now ngl
Just finished the second season...... i wont recover from this series
bro you have no business breaking my heart to pieces with this masterpiece of edit, you really made the feels and lyrics hit harder when you muffled the song in the battle at the bridge and the perfect edit with the "powder I ..... Never mind Man I miss you so much " literally chef kiss to that . i kinda realized that Vi was at least a bit lucky being locked away while ekko has to witness everything fall apart and his best friend and crush slipping away wtf man im dont even have the slightest idea they could be shipped and now here i am in my 51st replay sinking with it
"Powder I- I miss you so much" Man that hurts 10x now after S02. Bring this king his queen back rn riot!!
That's the only time we've ever seen Jinx scared. She didn't think he'd actually hurt her probably.
coping so hard after the final
For reals 😢
what it could've been
This.. this video inspired me watching this series, here i am depressing how jinx ended on season 2
Anyone else like Ekko more than everybody else in the show even though he had no screen time compared to the others
At first after finishing Vi was my favorite but the more I thought about the show and ekko he climbed to 1, dude is amazing
After act 3 this fits so well oml
the music and visuals fit perfectly nice job
I love how u see eco the entire time with his face as hard as stone barley cracking but when he sees powder beer crying his face completely crumbles 😢
This hits way harder after Season 2 Episode 7...
