- This week, "The Issue Is" hits the road, traveling on Air Force Two with the Vice President of the United States.
FOX 11's Elex Michaelson joined Kamala Harris in San Jose as she continues her "Reproductive Freedom Tour." The pair also sat down for an exclusive one-on-one interview.
The wide-ranging discussion began with a deep-dive on abortion rights in the aftermath of the Supreme Court's Dobbs decision. Harris also discussed the ongoing crisis at the Southern Border and the likely November rematch with Former President Trump. She also got personal, discussing lessons learned from her late mother, her love for the Super Bowl-bound 49ers, and a surprise trip taken with Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff.
While in San Jose, Michaelson also spoke with the man who replaced Harris in the Senate: Alex Padilla (D-CA).
Padilla was on hand to introduce Harris at the San Jose rally. Backstage, he and Michaelson talked the possibility of a national abortion ban, the Senate filibuster, the battle over an immigration deal, and much more.

Real hard hitting interviews Elex. Way to push back. This was just gross. How can you not know that Biden does not need a new law to secure the border? You need to take a shower. I can smell you from here.
Trump was taken to court when he tried to do executive orders to close the border. Presidents do not have the power to do this. It only got partially closed because of Covid, (Title 42), and Biden kept that in place for a long time until SCOTUS said it did not apply anymore if the "emergency" phase of Covid was over. There is a bipartisan deal that Biden is agreeing to that will anger Democrats because it is supposedly strict and inhumane in certain aspects. Republicans want to scare people with another "caravan" or "invasion" or something that they quit talking about the day after the election.
Madam VP Harris,
I am so sorry to have said such things.
Now, I know you a bit more now.

I appreciate you much, for you might climb the ladder up in the capacity of Vice President of the United States of America.
