Nice Video. I know the heat of the day sucks physically, but for smallmouth it is hard to beat it for activity. The week in June that was crazy hot, I caught my best smallmout of the year between 3 and 4 in the afternoon, lost my bggest of the year during that time as well. Most on topwater, a few on square bills. .

I’m from Cincinnati, born and raised. I’ve had a kayak sitting in my garage goin on 4 years, never touched the water. I plan on finally getting out in the next couple weeks. Do I need to register it or anything like that, and if so do you know roughly the cost?
I forget the cost. it’s not that bad if you were just registering a kayak without a motor. I got my stuff from that office at East Fork Lake. I believe you can also register online, but you just have to wait to get your stuff in the mail. Sorry, I wish I could help. I bought a three or four year pass a while ago and don’t remember much of the process.
I just did my registration. $20 with no motor.
@@MattsFishinMission I built a rig that I can attach my small trolling motor to. It’s made from pvc and a 2x4 and just slides on and off.
@@CincyFishDudes ok. I believe you can do it at the BMV. We’re going camping at Cesar Creek next week and I’m deff ready to get this thing on the water.
