That's a very impressive induction setup. The filter has so much relative surface area, any restriction should be next to nothing.

You know it was fully pro stuff by the way the block was mounted to the engine stand.
I might have noticed, but would never mention, the excessive amounts of rust in the water pump mounting cavity.
Oh......wait.....
The cylinder head looked nice for a lawn mower.....but not something you want to last more than 50 hours.

Ive had 3 astras all with the 8v. 14nz x2 and a mk4 z16se.
They simply do not brake. Only issue is they tad thirsty on fuel this day n age 😎 ive turnt to pd's very similar in layout yet with boost as standard
