I really like the zoom-in effect you use in your videos - my connection speed isn't the best so I tend to watch in 720p and an unzoomed full screen can be hard to read, even after finding exactly what is being manipulated somewhere among all the myriad options and features Godot offers.
I'm definitely super interested in the devlogs! only thing is, if you are doing them, I hope you'll go in depth into your code and how you're managing your project. I've seen too many devlogs where people gloss over the details and just talk about the main macroscopic features cause they think it's boring to talk about programming.
God your videos are such a fountain of knowledge and such high quality, gonna put my comment here because if you start doing full dev vlogs you'll be blowing up soon. Keep up the great work.
Hey Roman, thankyou! (Love your videos btw) Godot 4 let's you export dictionaries now which which didn't used to be possible, but I don't believe they're typed yet sadly 😭
@@BramwellWilliams Thanks mate! Coming from Unity having safe typing is an addiction :D Hopefully dictionaries will receive same love too in the future releases. 🙌
really good ideas on the tutorials, all around... I myself would like the transition tutorial...since I find the documentation lacking at times and end up doing more trial and error or looking at someone elses code(we all do it from time to time)to help guide me.
Many thanks for the great video! You should put a link in the description to your new course that you're developing. 'Liked' and you also have a new sub! :) Dave.
Thanks a bunch Dave! c: There is a link there just not with anything for sale yet, first bundle should release next monday ^^ (Maybe I should find a way to make the link more visible though 🤔
£24 for the first month in early access but it will rise as I reach content milestones - There will be a roadmap on the itch page to see what you're getting access to c:
I actually do have a bunch to show off! Since starting development I've spent about a year making educational content for GDQuest, And now Godot 4 has come out which is *mildly distracting* which all threw a spanner in the works. I do have a catch up video on the agenda for Hexcraft though c:
You were never able to type Arrays on Godot before Godot 4.0. The type you put on export, is for the UI, but the Array always had Variant.
I was always confused by the phrasing that makes a tonne of sense thanks!

That's great to hear thankyou! I've certainly been sad to see lots of devlogs lose their informative side over time
Yesss, the arrays alone will be so nice!!! Nice video and thumbnail. Keep up the great work.
Thanks a bunch! photoshop has been whooping me so hard on the thumbnail front 😭

thankyou so much! that's so lovely to hear c:
0:45 this was the first thing I tried in order to type an array in Godot 3. Good to see this
Devlogs would be great! Nice content!
Hell yeah, thankyou!
Fantastic video! Looking forward for more videos in the series. On the topic of typed arrays, are typed dictionaries supported too? Thanks!

Totally! I hope so too in Godot 4 the performance is way better if you strongly type everything too so it's definitely needed
OPERATOR OVERLOADING? That’s an awesome update 🎉
I know right?! Its so cool!
Nice edited video! If godot was more popular, you would get over 100k subs!
Thankyou so much!! c: One day, one day 😤
