We've seen it happen all over the world now that we have youtube. Scientists has become interested in many videos. Our estimation of animals IQ has changed completely. Nearly all the animals are heightening their IQ. they understand humans and what we can do for them. Thousand of videos on youtube shows animals asking for help. A stray dogs fetch people to dig out her puppies. Ducks asks people to help them when their ducklings has fallen into some drain. All type of whales, seals, beavers asks for help. I've seen a raven ask people for water. A Cockatoo sitting at a small water fountain for drinking water. She sat there waiting and some person walked straight up to her an put the water. The parrot drank a lot. Afterwards she stayed nearly saying thanks. I've seen a beaver jumping onto a motorboat to escape a shark. It refused to get off the bout and hitch-hiked all the way to the harbour. 20 years ago scientists said that no animals can understand pictures or Tv, they could not understand two-dimensional pictures. Today we have seen it so many times, dogs, cats, monkeys, parrots and many bird species understand both flat pictures and Tv.
Cats can imitate human speech and they know what the words mean or the context of them. Dogs understand both pictures and Tv, the knowledge of words is about 1000 probably more. They understand nouns but also verbs and they can interpretate the tone. You can tell them things in future tense.
They do see colours. 20 years ago they said they where colourblind, also cats where colourblind. A reasonabel human being should have realised 20 years ago that it was madness. Both dogs and cats are predators, who on earth came up with a theory that a predator couldn't see colours???
Parrots: Cockatoos especially understand what they are saying, they aren't just imitating. They can create sentences with the right grammatics and you can have a conversation with them. Okay
Animals are incredible and they can communicate with humans, they know a lot about our language but we have trouble understanding them.

Double-standard hypocritical Westerners. If you people don't interfere with other cultures for eating dogs, I won't condemn you hypocrites. Don't you eat animals?
Dogs are cute and Man's best friends so you can eat them. But pigs, chickens, cows, sheep and turkeys are not cute and not Man's best friends so you can eat them. All Westerners rejoiced when they saw some ducklings were rescued. But they don't condemn Western hunters who shoot wild ducks, deer and bears for leisure. Eating shark's fins is cruel? PETA has been repeatedly showed you the inhumane way farm animals are bred and reared in factory farms and slaughtered in the most cruel way. All animals, like these ducklings, have the right to live a full lifespan and they feel pain and fear death too. Their mothers suffered emotional pain when their chicks, cubs and piglets are snatched away from them.

What has the turkey got to thank for?

    • @dianem6951

      Huh?
You don’t understand how this works.
These ducks were not harvested for thanksgiving day food.
Unless you subscribe to the NGD. Then in that area ALL ducks would have been extinct. The humans would have HAD to kill them to live under the NGD. Fact!
We have living proof. Under socialism you eat straight out of garbage trucks. I’m pretty sure the ducks are gone by then. If you care you would oppose the GND!
Don’t worry you’re not all going to die in 12 years because of climate change.
      However, you might...will die in
      12 years under Communism.

      pigglet and pooh bear
Acts like this show our true human nature.
It’s extremely important for us to do these things.
I sat at an intersection of a 6 lane intersection, from both sides, during rush hour. ALL traffic stopped so that the mother with her ducklings were able to cross the road.
In all the ‘hustle, and bustle’ of every day life, these acts are a benefit to society.
      We care. We do care.
Normal people aren’t going to casually walk by a life in need.
They need our help. We need them to remind us of how vulnerable life can be. Even in the most prosperous environment of our time.

I love animals with all of my heart, but yes it does. Who in their right mind would choose rescuing a duck they didn't know over a person they didn't know? There's a reason why people feel 1000 times as guilty when they kill a person whether it's by mistake or not.

BeadedMarshmallows That's due to social conditioning, it's not a feature of humans as a species. You're grossed out by the thought of eating someone, right? In some cultures they revere and remember their dead by eating them, it's considered an honour.

Unfortunately farm animals raised for food have no such heros to rescue them from certain and immanent death as well. 😕
For that reason I feel we need more advocacy for the humane treatment of animals raised for food.
Pigs, cows, and chickens need love too.
Buying only organic pasture raised meat is the least a person can do. Paying an extra few bucks at least ensures the animals can spend half their life outdoors before slaughter.

I find it very irritating whenever people utter this cliché not really reflecting their state of mind. So, before this, you'd no faith in humanity? You had no faith in the house the builders had built and you worried that it might collapse anytime? You had no faith in the drivers that operated the bus, train and cab that you rode that they might crash? You had no faith in the food you bought from the supermarket, restaurant, café, etc. that you might get food poisoning? You had no faith in the doctors who treated you? You had no faith in the police who maintained law and order? You had no faith in ...

Thanks for posting this video! I love firemen! They do awesome, hard work in our communities! They put their lives on the line for fellow man--and take time rescue baby ducks!
In my town, where I live, I can see the local fire department and police department. I pray for them every day. Whenever I hear sirens I pray for those men and women. Having worked in Emergency Medicine for 17 years--I got to the point where I could identify by sound, whether it was fire, police or ambulance responding. Now as a disabled person, in my hospital bed at night, when I hear a siren--I know if it is police, fire or ambulance responding, and I pray accordingly. I had friends who worked in all three services.
I heard about all the near misses from those working in these services. I heard about people in cars who do not stop for them at intersections! I also had friends who were in MVA's because people did not give right of way. To my horror one night, our ER staff witnessed such an incident via radio as one of our ambulance paramedics was radioing in that they had a patient for our ER. We heard the terrible crash over the radio, then dead silence. They were only a few blocks away--our ER Doc, called dispatch himself--calling in the accident. We heard multiple sirens--soon those very paramedics were our patients too. I never forgot that accident--nor our tears as we lost one of our own that day.
From then on, I formed the habit of praying for every single paramedic, fire personnel, and police officer for protection, wisdom, and guidance in performance of their duties. I pray for our military too.
I just love these video's because it shows the public the tenderness of these brave people--and the love and respect they have for life. Thanks again for posting this, and remember, that there are many of us good and kind civilians out there that love YOU guys and gals who do this hard work. Please know that we pray for you too. Know that God loves you and we appreciate you too. I know it can be a thankless job. I say thanks from all of us who do not get a chance too. Hugs and love from Oregon!!
