    Legit Brent I'm going through a tough time in my life with from moving, finding a new job, to a huge culture shock, selling and renting a house, and dealing with alot of bills it's awesome to sit back and watch you do your magic. I'm a diesel technician at heart and just enjoy seeing someone make their project and life into a reality for people like me that need a distraction from our reality to watch! Looking foward to meeting you one day.

    I grew up working with my Grampa in his shop and actually built my first car when I was 15, 1968 Fury III 4 Door a Big Ugly Ass Puke Green Behemoth that was pushing a little over 500whp when we got done out of a 440 HiPo with 6 Pack on top. Had Hooker headers with old school cut outs using cabling and tractor flaps. Anyway reason I'm making this comment is I wanted to straight up thank you for something you did in the first few minutes. Grampa believed in if we could make why buy it unless it was for a customers car. One of the very first things he taught me was how to make a template for anything we needed to fab or for even cutting out own gaskets using the paper template trick you used and man the memories just started flooding in, so again thank you. He's been gone since 1985 now and I know longer turn wrenches and haven't for years, hate all the damn sensors makes no sense why I had to continually tell customers sorry but we have to start replacing sensors to find the bad one and a dozen or so later, $300+ we might have finally fixed the issue. Mind you this was back late 80's after I got home from the Navy.
    Anyway TLDR:
    Thanks again for triggering some of the best memories I have from being a young gear head and of my "Crampa" yes crampa who I miss to this day...

    Hey Brent I'm a long time supporter since the start of the boosted boiz channel. I've always admired your attitude towards just about everything but especially the car scene. I love seeing you work on your own projects like this, makes me feel like it's how pfi all came about. Gives me a throw back feeling to the times I never got to see and i appreciate that! Loving the content keep up the great work boys!

    Ahhhh of course Brent has one of the old mac impact guns. I swear, no other impact gun has quite the sound that gun carries. so loud, but such a satisfying hammering noise from those guns specifically

      @@pgmurray76 Yeah, I used to race my lil Honda at Etown. I won 1st place racing at the very last Honda Day. Right in the nick of time. I'm still highly upset about the closure of the dragstrip.

      @@ScorpioXXXL Dammit! You witnessed and raced the last Honda Day! I missed it (as a spectator). I went to a couple of VW Waterfest events too. At least Atco still exists.

      @@pgmurray76 Atco & Island just aren't the same to me. Nothing felt better than making a pass at good ole ETown. I went to a Ratchet Friday Event about 2 weeks ago (at Etown)& It sucks. They literally have the car show on the old dragstrip. That just pisses me off🤬

    • @pgmurray76
      @pgmurray76 4 роки тому

      @@ScorpioXXXL That is precisely why I don't bother anymore. The hell with all of them. Super true about ATCO. I never went there nor thought about it. It was and always will be low class and inferior compared to the old E-Town, but for drags in NJ it is the only place I know of.

    This explains my comment on the last bully video, I said when Brent talks about the bully it sounds like a love hate relationship. With all the variations of this car and I’m sure the countless $ you invested in it that you have some harsh memories of this beast! It’s awesome that us as fans can help motivate and empower you to get excited for this badass car again! The world needs a lot more people like Brent in it. FUCKING CISED TO SEE THIS THING RUMBLE!!
