EARL GRANT - MALCOLM X'S TOP AIDE PASSES

  • Mr. Earl Grant one of Malcolm's top lieutenants has joined the ancestors in April of 2019. Rest In Power Brother Earl and please greet Malcolm and Robert L. Haggins in our behalf. I can tell you Earl, Robert and I were tight, and this assassination ripped Earls soul out. I did my best to ease his mind, he would come visit me or I would visit him and we would sometimes talk, sometimes just play some Jazz. He knew the enormity of Malcolm's loss and kept the horror of it all in his head until the day he died. I pray his soul is at rest now. Earl has taught me has he taught all of us that we are truly in trouble now. Malcolm was our last hope. I know you may challenge me on saying that, but it's the truth. I'll make it more plain, our asses are grass and this racist power structure is a giant lawnmower. We can tell Mommy bye-bye. Robert L. Haggins and Earl Grant have throughly convinced me.

Brother Earl spoke more on the most intimate details of his walks with Malcolm than Betty and all of her children did. No type of top secret files, documentaries or other outside sources ever had any negative things to say about Mr. Grant as to his loyalty to Brother Malcolm. He told us about the brief convo with Malcolm and Bumpy and he told us that it was he that advised and trained Malcolm to use pictures and recording devices to use against the "Enemy". Thank you Brother Earl for all of the information even Malcolm's family wouldn't talk about!! A true Afro-American follower of Malcolm from the NOI all the way to the OAAU!! And thank you Brother Omar for keeping Malcolm's legacy alive!! I love you dearly my brother!! Keep it up!!

His memorial service in Watts yesterday was honorable. His daughter, Jamilah, was in attendance, as well as two of his grandchildren. Four of us read his written words, "The Last Days of Malcolm X". There was poetry, reflections, drumming, a call in from A. Peter Bailey and his remains were enshrined within two Kemetic Urns. He is an ancestor now, and a powerful one. I will miss him greatly. He has been a wonderful elder and teacher for the past 19 years for me and my entire family. I have great memories of many times spent with him. I was also his notary public, and proudly served him whenever I was called on.

It hurt my heart to hear Grant say that he failed Malcolm. He was the main reason Malcolm survived for as long as he did. Grant talked to Black journalist Gil Noble about confronting NOI members who were stalking Malcolm.
Grant walked up to the car full of goons and told them, "Make sure you get a good look!" He added, "Sometimes you have to let people know that you will scramble their eggs if you have to."
I love the end of the Grant tribute video, depicting him and Malcolm embracing in the afterlife. Well done.

This was an extraordinary interview, the assassination of the messiah malcolm x was a tremendous loss to the blackman of America, our beacon of hope, hope that turned into a physical phenomenon, I was a small child upon his assassination, but when I reached my age of knowledge and understanding, I studied malcolm x life like I was there,I placed myself mentally in his time and felt his pain,a great man we lost,I can understand these two brothers heavy emotions for him,I love what he did and his legacy is still doing,we as black people, the so called American negro must respect ourselves, be ourselves and learn of our history.

I don't think people realize how important what Brother Grant said at 32:09 really is. The first time I heard it I was blown away and it really changed my thinking on a lot of things. It's basically the same thing as in the book "The Spook Who Sat By The Door," when Freeman tells Willie: "...don't give whitey any stature by screaming what a big drag he is. Put him down and you build him up..."
That's going to go miles over the heads of 95 percent of the people who call themselves "woke" or "activists."

Very touching tribute to Mr. Grant. Now Mr. Grant's spirit is free and soaring high like Malcolm's with Our Heavenly Father in Heaven. God bless this true soldier who stood by our Brother Malcolm...His works as well as being pure in heart will continually be rewarded for being A faithful soldier to the end as well as beyond.
    Matthew 5:1-12 (NIV)
Introduction to the Sermon on the Mount
5 Now when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him, 2 and he began to teach them.
    The Beatitudes
    He said:
3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 Blessed are those who mourn,
    for they will be comforted.
    5 Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth.
6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
    for they will be filled.
    7 Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
8 Blessed are the pure in heart,
    for they will see God.
    9 Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God.
10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

With that material we could easily discover who betrayed Malcolm, just by merely studying those phone calls!!!
