Stock sub woofer is plug and play. Your stock woofer, (same as mine) runs to a built in amp. That amp is then ran to the factory harness. The factory harness for the amp and sub are plug and play. You do not need a separate RCA plug, everything will go into the respective positions

Also can not get wireless android auto to connect, regular android auto connects and the stereo says it is activated but i never received an activation code in the box like the company said. Hmm the RCA thing seems to be a common issue:/ I also have not yet located a dark mode, just the auto brightness mode. If I find anything I’ll re-comment and let you know:) haven’t looked for it much so I’ll start to dig around more. The line doesn't light up and the buttons also don't light up. Is this simply a setting i need to change in the head unit? My previous head unit screen would dim when I turn the headlights on (so I know there is a factory illumination wire in the harness to the radio plug). This one does nothing.

Yes it is. Canadian product, assembled in China, for sale pretty much everywhere. Stock is for American vehicles. Can be altered and programmed for right hand drive as well
@Only4Jeeps how long did it take for you to get it in the mail? I ordered mine about 8 days ago just curious as to how long it would take to get to me.
They ship through DHL. And right now they are only allowed to send a few at a time due to the volume of orders, and no staffing from the shipping company. Took me about a week but I was also one of the first to order. I had a few people tell me they were going to cancel their orders. Then two days later it showed up! Give it another week or so!
Just installed mine the other day. My antenna is infront of the review mirror. My radio is very spotty. The radio music will go into low volume and sometimes get fuzzy. Would u know a remedy to this? Do you think loose cable? Or something else?
Like I said in the video, I’m having a custom bracket made for my spare tire carrier to mount the camera to. However, the wire to the camera can be disconnected if you wish to leave it on the hard top, and then it can be removed
I do not have a secondary sub so I did not need that wire, and I have not messed with the RDS yet. I will try to look at it again, however the 8878 code is what allows you to change settings from the back end. I would guess try splicing the sub wire with the correct gauge and run the adapter

Also can not get wireless android auto to connect, regular android auto connects and the stereo says it is activated but i never received an activation code in the box like the company said. Any pointers? Thanks for the help.
Hmm the RCA thing seems to be a common issue:/ I also have not yet located a dark mode, just the auto brightness mode. If I find anything I’ll re-comment and let you know:) haven’t looked for it much so I’ll start to dig around more. For the activation code, for wireless CarPlay, I had to message them via Instagram and email to get the code. Sometimes it can take a bit for a response but mine did not come with a code either
Hey! How did you got the little Split that good? Saw others, with a much bigger split there.
The split? On the multi screen, or the dash tray/unit?
Dash tray/Unit
@@larsschweda3549 I think it’s just taking your time with the instal. I noticed mine didn’t fit as good at first. So I took it apart and the issue was, one of the tabs was not in all the way! They’re a lot tighter than oem
I'm liking my system so far except for a couple of issues I've had to sort. My problem at the moment is not being able to talk using the Bluetooth. It connects and dials fine but I cannot hear anything
Hmm I haven’t had that problem. You had the Uconnect before correct?
@@only4jeeps571 yes, that's a reason I switched the unit, I hated uconnect
@@xaviermejia3362 I guess I would check wiring. If not, could always try and external mic 😬 you’re the first person to tell me about this I’ll try to dig more
@@only4jeeps571 well the thing is when I dial it kicks in and I can hear fine for a couple of seconds then the volume drops so I don't know if it might be an output setting on the phone
@@xaviermejia3362 could be. Everything with it takes some getting use to
Hi, I just installed the j-pro along with the k1.
I only have 1 issue.
My k1 back lighting (illumination when headlights on) doesn't work at all. The line doesn't light up and the buttons also don't light up. Is this simply a setting i need to change in the head unit? My previous head unit screen would dim when I turn the headlights on (so I know there is a factory illumination wire in the harness to the radio plug). This one does nothing.
That sounds like a defect to me :/ I would double check all of your plugs and what not. There are settings for brightness under the display settings. Could mess with that too. Otherwise you may need to exchange it. I’m sorry to hear that mate:(
I've emailed them, and sent them a message via their Facebook page but unfortunately they haven't replied and its been a few days.
@@aussiecorvettec8 I have not heard from them in a few weeks either. Not sure what’s going on, could be backed up due to high order volumes
@@only4jeeps571 yes maybe, I'll give them some time as its not a big deal. If they don't get back to me in a week or two I will put in a PayPal claim then they will need to address it or I will get a refund. Other than that, its a great product.
Could be better, in terms of the navigation, entertainment tabs of the j-pro not displaying in conjunction with the k1 when using those functions. But they might work with future updates.
@@aussiecorvettec8 I agree!! I think that’s an appropriate move to make. I hope it all works out for you man
Is this product compatible with US Jeep Wranglers? I noticed its a Canadian product and wasnt sure. Probably a dumb question buy figured I'd ask
Yes it is. Canadian product, assembled in China, for sale pretty much everywhere. Stock is for American vehicles. Can be altered and programmed for right hand drive as well
How’s the sound system, is it loud with the stock Alpine speakers, sound bar and sub?
Yes night and day difference. Plus a 30 band EQ
Alright thank you 👍🏼
Just installed mine the other day. My antenna is infront of the review mirror. My radio is very spotty. The radio music will go into low volume and sometimes get fuzzy. Would u know a remedy to this? Do you think loose cable? Or something else?
I would check all plugs, could be a wire or antenna issue. I personally have not had that issue:/ if I can think of a fix I will re-comment !
Do you know if they will be making this for the 4xe model wranglers ?
Last I heard they will have a jl model sometime next year

Hi! Are you still able to take the top off your jeep with the camera wired to it? How does that work?
Like I said in the video, I’m having a custom bracket made for my spare tire carrier to mount the camera to. However, the wire to the camera can be disconnected if you wish to leave it on the hard top, and then it can be removed
@@only4jeeps571 thank you!
I want one for my 2010 JK. Don't think they have them though. 😭
No not yet:/
Is your secondary usb cable too short? How can i set radio app to show RDS?
I do not have a secondary sub so I did not need that wire, and I have not messed with the RDS yet. I will try to look at it again, however the 8878 code is what allows you to change settings from the back end. I would guess try splicing the sub wire with the correct gauge and run the adapter
go to Settings like shown and hit Radio settings. Activate the RDS option to "AF ON" done
i just cut the usb cable and extended it , works great
The 2nd USB Cable is mentioned to connect to the stock one in the arm rest of the Wrangler. If you dont have this one you wont need to cut anything 🤣 geht an mini USB Extension and Plug it in....
Thank you for you video, it helped me to get apple car play and change the wallpaper, do you know or to have the gps they show on the website? they says "can install Gothe, map of ovi" but impossible to find it, thank you
I will reach out to them and ask! I know that you need 4g in the sim slot for it to work with the built in google maps unless you run hot spot
@@only4jeeps571 hello, thank you for your answer, I did send them an email before, but it take months to get answers usually, and where I live I the sim card usually have no data most of the time, that’s why I was wondering about the gps they show on their website, working with the antenna

Can you post a video of you prottype of bracket
I will when I get it back! It’s currently at his work getting fitted. It is a basic back up camera mount, where he is matching the angle of the camera and fitting it so it can be adjusted for elevation. Should be good to go in the next week or two as he has other projects to address with his business first. I’ll try to demo a video on my Instagram when he sends me a pic of the cuts and folds
I setup the wireless AutoLink but oddly mine is saying that I need an activation code to use the service/app. I'm going to have to email Carobotor.
Correct. You need an activation code unique to your head unit.
@@only4jeeps571 thanks. I’ll email them and see if I can get it.

I got my package today and the led air vents were missing :/
I did not order them. I do know that they are delayed or Atleast they were delayed for many people
I got the Batman camera and I can’t get it to work
I connected the camera to the radio ,connected a wire to the reverse red wire coming out of the camera and connected that wire to my reverse light and the camera will not work
Did I screw up something ?
For mine I did not do anything with the red wire, nor did I have to tap into my reverse light. I did for my old camera though. All I had to do was plug it in according to the diagram

I do not but adventure dex does. Here is the link m.ua-cam.com/video/XrAIOyNz05Y/v-deo.html

Will the steering wheel controls work with this unit or is additional hardware needed?
Everything will work as it did with factory with better sound and OS
@@only4jeeps571 , mine does not, unable to remap the steering wheel controls. Center button on the back right side blows the horn.

Anyone know if they have a RHD model? Or is this univeral fit?
Yes there is rhd. I actually think it’s meant to be based on where volume controls are
Does it have the option to hook up subs to it
There is an option at check to select if you have factory subs or not. If you have separate subs I believe you would need to run a harness from your amp to the head unit itself
After looking again I do not see RCA on my exact model
Amazon offers rca adapters for radios without the options.

My question is how come this is so much cheaper than the Alpine systems?
Competitive market, different software and os, and not a major name brand is my guess

Does it have satellite radio in it
Unfortunately it does not appear so. Not sure if there is an app to download to mimic it
Just installed my K1, I'm pretty excited. Any idea how to change the date/time? Mine seems to be stuck on China time and its grayed out in the settings.

Love it. Finally a video that can convince me to buy one. BTW I have a few questions
1) I'm assuming gaiagps works as expected, live tracking etc etc
2) what's the storage capacity that comes with the unit, 64gb? And is it possible to expand it, like say with an sd card?
3) I know you're an iphone user but was wondering how Android auto works with this unit? Wireless? Or can you just download the app from the playstore and have it take over?
4) what's the current Android OS version? Have you looked into if it's possible to say update a newer version, cause Android 12 looks dope :)
5) curious to know your experience adding a sim card to the unit (if at all you did)
I know that's a lot of questions but would appreciate if you could share any info. Thanks again for the video and would love to see maybe a follow up video after using it a little more.
Hello! I’ll do my best to address these!
1. Yes the gps works. Mine is spotty as the antenna is in the glove box and I have no mounted it near a window yet. I only use CarPlay, but I’ll try to check it more soon. I don’t drive much in winter here in Wisconsin, plus I work 12s the next few weeks:( but will do my best.
2. I believe built in 64gb, and has a slot for an SD card. I’ll likely buy an SD card soon for music not available on Spotify.
3. I’m not sure how well android auto works. My friend has an android phone, and I’ll test it all out and post it to a story on my IG account.
4. It looks like you can download updates, I saw a tab for it when I first got it but I am not sure yet how to update it or if there is one available. If there’s any updates I’ll post those to my story as well.
5. No experience with a SIM card yet. I have unlimited data, and have no needed to purchase a separate data plan.
If you would like you can shoot me a PM on Instagram. You can video chat w me and I’ll show you whatever you want to see on the unit at a time that works for both of us. I hope that helps 😬
Watts ?
The after-sales service is a mess.I'm just making excuses for being busy.have no faith in
I took mine out. Terrible sound quality and lack of preamp’s for my amplifier. Great concept, poor execution. Ordered the alpine i509 restyle for the wrangler and put my i309 back in until it gets here.
No way am I cutting my dash.
To each their own. A new dash is $100, was worth it to me:)
Do I need an interface like maestro for this?
No sir all plug and play
I have the alpine backup camera does it work with it?
No idea, you’d have to try it out. From what I have learned, all camera will work if you tap into the appropriate wires!
