@@RecordingStudioRockstars jesus! "serious home" will never spend 17k unless rich. Not as an intelligent marketing strategy as I would have expected to wait this time from u :(. Unless there were lots of "serious dudes" with that amount of cash Im sure not everyone will be spending that, until it decreases on price in the next 3 or 4 years... Im sure things like X-desk suits more this "project studio" tendency (whether pro or not) this days u know (no offence). Anyways, amazing product API. Would so much love to produce amazing things with you one day. God bless
@@b.f.m.1906 This is a great product and I understand the price but it might indeed be a bit much for "the little home/project studio" :P Even an SSL X-desk is more than what most get. On the other hand, I've read that The Box sold quite well which allowed them to make this improved version.

You actually can use the summing inputs 1-16 to track through. External pre or DI into a sum input and use the insert send as an output to DAW.
Really ? So I can in essence add 16 mono channels of mic pre’s on the summing channels ?
@@HyruleDude yes. Using the insert send as a direct output to interface doesn’t give you fader control obv but if you set the preamp gain correctly it shouldn’t be an issue.
@@heartpath1 awesome! Thank you! One more question, what if I wanted to use a Different master buss compressor , can that be routed to the program master as opposed to using the onboard compressor for the master channel ?
@@HyruleDude yup - just patch it into the program insert. The onboard comps are great for tracking and mixing but I rarely use as a master comp.

Does it have recall?
t nossis I don’t believe it does. But it’s such a small console that it would be easy to take photos with an iPhone for recall.
The automation package alone on a 1608 adds an additional 12K to the price.
