Very sad to learn of Stewpot's sudden death on January 9th. Although I lost touch with him in recent years, I gather he continued to be what he always was, a lovely man. RIP Ed.

The Who i can see for miles came out in December 1967 so was released three months after the demise of Radio London, came from the who sell out and so does the jingle that proceeds it

BE AWARE THAT THIS IS NOT A GENUINE PIECE OF RADIO ONODN FROM 1967!
It was recorded in the Studios of Radio Hallam in Sheffield in 1978 with DJ Ed Stewart, trying to recreate the sound of the original 1960s offshore station.

I have this LP from the 70's or early 80's when I bought this I knew straight away that this is a recreation not an orginal broadcast from the 1960's not a bad effort but not the real thing.

THIS IS NOT A GENIUNE RECORDING OF RADIO LONDON!! It's a reconstruction recorded at Radio Hallam's studios in Sheffield, about 1977, especially for the LP release. So was the other side, a reconstruction of a Radio Caroline show featuring Tony Blackburn.
