I love this idea of the self as a "spectrum" of many different bodies and perceptions. The occult opens the doors to greater perception, largely through consciousness. The materialist and the dogmatic religionist reduces, categorizes and ultimately isolates and confines the borders of experience.

    I’m excited to see this!
Haven’t listened to this yet, but I read “spirit and the sword” when it came out, and read an article about Thibault by Greer in “Gnosis” magazine years ago.

I'm an occult practitioner, historian, translator of Spanish renaissance fencing books and also instruct this specific system if you ever want to get deeper into it

I was interested to hear what John Michael Greer said re: the sacred geometry of swordsmanship - "the abstract patterns allow spiritual forces to be embodied in the material world...by way of movement, position, by way of the sword." This is totally a new concept for me... I would love it if you had Greer back or even another guest to explore this idea related to sacred geometry. How would this embodiment play out in sacred geometry in art, architecture, and other areas where sacred geometry is used. Interesting podcast....you do a great job!! just finding you.

I think that is why older religious cathedrals are so spectacular to be in. If you ever visited some of these sites and enter there is a specific vibe in my experience. I felt my mind easier to clear. People also report similar effects around SHIVA lingas (sacred India geometric statues) that are consecrated.

Can you do a series on "Death and the afterlife"?
You could get NT Wright on to talk about his book Surprised by Hope. Bart Ehrman has some books on Christianity and the afterlife too.
Then maybe get Damo Mitchell on to talk about Taoism and the afterlife. The aim of Taoist internal alchemy is to create a transcendent yang spirit that survives bodily death. You could get him to talk about the process of creating the yang spirit too.
Damo has a yt channel. He teaches Chinese meditation techniques, Taoist internal alchemy mainly but I guess there's also some Chan Buddhism as well. A recent video of his worth watching is - Bhutan Vajrayana Conference Talk - Damo Mitchell.
Then for Tibetan Buddhism you could get Glenn Mullin or Andrew Holecek. Holecek wrote a book called Preparing to Die that's worth reading whether you get him on the show or not. I'd get him on to talk about death and get Mullin on a separate episode to talk about his books on The Six Yogas of Naropa.
You can look up Glenn Mullin if you search "guru viking glenn mullin".
Damo was on the Guru Viking podcast too and briefly mentions how from a Buddhist perspective Taoists cling on to a sense of self.
Also if you're ever looking for guests you could try Gilbert Gutierrez (I recommend watching his videos on the "Shurangama Sutra - The Fifty Skandha Demon States"). He's from the Empty Cloud/Xu Yun lineage. Lots of people coming out of that lineage develop extraordinary supernormal abilities, like Catholic saints.
Gutierrez's teacher has lots of really high quality videos posted on yt. He's called Master Sheng Yen. Actually I remember there's a video on God and the Buddha... "The difference between Buddha and God(GDD-124, Master Sheng Yen)".

There's Dean Radin too. Some of his books were uploaded here last I checked. The first one being Entangled Mind. Which is worth listening to.
Also Dobbs is best when he's interpreting and explaining things. Personally I would try asking him to do 3 episodes. One on Baudrillard, one on Arthur Kroker and one on McLuhan that leads into into Baudrillard. Baudrillard expands on McLuhan's work and Kroker expands Baudrillard's work.
Kroker's writings from the 90s have been compared to Land's work from the 90s. If you search "Arthur Kroker Nick Land" there are some posts on the socialecologies blog. Dobbs mentioned Kroker right at the end of your first interview.
On Damo Mitchell if you decide to ask him on the show. You could ask him to do a quick run through the stages that lead to becoming a Taoist Immortal and ask him to tell you about the different kinds of immortality as well. I think the lowest level is "ghost immortal".

The odd smugness of this guy really broke the episode for me.
