Your story of romanticizing your life reminded me of an elderly woman who came to my work today and she was wearing all lapis lazuli blue. Right down to her earrings and the string that held her glasses! I made a comment about how sweet she looked with all her matching colors and she exclaimed "yes but my socks are yellow!" with glee. She then said, "It's important to always take an opportunity to be creative." It was such a lovely moment. She said she was a water color artist. I plan to take her advice to heart, and yours. Thank you.
What a lovely story!! It put a smile on my face and in my heart ... It is beautiful to think about how little it takes to make changes that mean a lot to people. I mean, that lady's choice of colors and her charming attitude, now brings joy to others ... She created ripples of joyous energy, that will now spread ... Thank you for spreading seeds of joy!!
Just remember that "elderly" refers to people who are geriatric, 80 plus, the last chapters of life. Often not even then. I know an 80 year old friend who still roofs her own greenhouse and planted there dozen apple trees by hand and shovel last month, so, SHE certainly is not yet anywhere near "elderly." Be VERY CAREFUL of using that phrase. As a woman over 55, I see that people over 55 are thought of as "sweet" or "cute" and adressed that way. BE VERY CAREFUL. In Native culture, one would never say things like that, it can be demeaning. Older people are not children.
Oh my gosh. This makes me weep in the best way My soul speaks to me through this post and video I need to express my creative side more… it has been contained for too long Let us have dreams as said… they have enormous power to unlock our potential Let us be the artist of our own lives I appreciate the videos and posts With a grateful heart, Me
I am 75 and have had a magical dream fantasy life. I’ve laid on the ground to capture the picture of some amazing flower, mushroom, or moss. BTW that form of viewing is called “belly-button-botany”. Recently I was cleaning a window in the upstairs guest room and watched as a red-tailed hawk feather floated down in front of my eyes. I immediately retrieved it and took it as a special sign sent just to me. I cannot imagine a world where there is not magic and wonder. Keep dancing the dance - you are not alone.
That is awesome. You are awesome. Sounds like you're living the kind of beautiful life of simply "noticing with wonder" that I hope to be living when I'm 75. Thanks for sharing that viewing phrase- its SO cute!
Belly button botany” … I love that, now I know what I’ve been doing I can tell the people who look at me strangely when I’m in the New Forest filming! 😁🇬🇧
I think it’s amazing that you still love life this way. A lot of older people in my life kind of look on The darker side of things on how the world has become. And as do I. I wish you the best and the most happiness even when we are nothing but stars among the cosmos.
I live in the inner city St Louis, Missouri where there is a lot of gunfire and crime. When you mentioned what your apartment life used to be like years ago and how tough that was but how you could still be a dreamer in the midst of all that...well it gives me hope to keep on dreaming and finding beauty in every butterfly and hummingbird that comes to my back yard during the end of summer! Your videos bring such joy and peace and are a gift in my life . Thank you!
It’s so hard in an environment like that, I remember so many sleepless nights with my head stuffed between pillows trying to drown out sirens and screaming! It was hard, I had a little star projector that I’d turn on and block out the windows, put on headphones and pretend I was floating through a galaxy 🌌 it might seem silly but it helped. Wishing you the very best, sending hugs❤️
Susan, why do you stay? Our wonderful country offers so much beauty, safety and joy. Start a new path in a place that offers you these blessings. I will keep you in my prayers.
I might sound dumb but putting up some glow in the dark stars on your ceiling could improve your quality of life Beautification of the home can keep a free imagination quite happy I heard of this 1 woman caught in war Everything outside all destroyed But once you entered her house it was a completely different place Magical and homely It was like an escape from the outsides horrors It could be worth it Anyway I wish you luck and happiness
Paola, I am so hoping that you are going to write a children's book. With your storytelling and your beautiful artwork, I am sure it would be wonderful!
Paola, listen to this advice you could potentially make millions. Maybe that's not your thing material wealth but it will set you up for the future. It's possible!
"Perhaps healthy forms of escapism isn't escaping at all, but simply broadening the spectrum of a life experience. Perhaps it's simply a question of embracing what you love, and not where, but how you want to live." I want to remember that. Beautifully said.
I allude often to seeing life as a set of ‘chapters’ to a storybook, but I wanted to unpack that a bit more in this video. I am a lover of fantasy and fairytales, of movies and books and music that transport me to other worlds or enhance my own… of romanticizing aspects of daily life. This is an open discussion on how those things can be potentially very healthy outlets for those who enjoy them. Obviously, this topic isn’t about romanticizing unhealthy or unsafe situations or using escapism as a crutch (I hope that goes without saying, as I find it ineffective to fill each video with many disclaimers - I wouldn’t have room for anything else if I did!). It’s about finding balance and enjoying art and imagination to the fullest and letting it imbue your world with magic ✨✨
Love all your videos which part of the world you are living?Such a serene and dream place to live. I wish oneday I could live there. How much to buy a small land or a small cottage there?
Previously, I was a bit scared and embarrassed by my personality. Personally I also like things like fantasy and romanticizing every aspect of my life. I was afraid being weird in people's eyes. But after seeing your videos, my fear is slowly lessened. And so I thought, "I'm not weird, my personality is a beautiful gift." Thinking like that calms me down. Thank you so much for making this video. ❤️
Your comment made me cry ... Why? Well, partly because I feel moved by another soul's personal growth and partly because I recognize myself in your description of yourself ... Take care!!
Being different is not being weird, people who tell me to change I tell them why you don't change so I like you? Do I have to change to please others? No way...Be what you like to be and feel comfortable and happy, and all those that want you to change erase them from your life, best of luck
I often read 'children's books' as they seem to have a magic in them, especially those fairy stories and beautifully illustrated books. I collect children's books and read them when I want to go somewhere else. I really hope you write a book filled with fantasy, dreams and inspirational thoughts of another world filled with love, peace and your artwork to add that extra uniqueness just like your art prints.
'' ... to find people who value the act of dreaming together...'' For some reasons those words made me cry. Soothing my life, healing my soul. Thank you so much.
What you have created - are creating - here is timeless. You are bringing encouragement through beauty and peace to many hearts around the world that so needed at this time. Thank you, Paola. ♥ ann
I’m so delighted to find people like you in this big old world. Such a joy and treat to watch your videos. I’m so pleased you can breathe fresh air again now too.
It’s difficult I’m in the chapter of living authenticity, needing my medication and finding worth within myself without others seeing me as worthy or a creative. It’s very hard but I’m trying. Thank you for opening up dialogue and sharing your journey with us. This is a little piece of heaven for me.
Stay strong and in authenticity. Hear that inner voice you have and live intensely your feelings. Remember we are all new to this life and everyone is trying as best as they can.
At every moment in our lives, we have a choice. We can focus on the negative, maybe relive a painful memory, focus on what we don't have. Or, we can focus on the positive, see the blessings, see the beauty. And what we think about is what we propagate because we create our worlds with our thoughts. Some years ago, i chose to keep focusing on the good, on the lovely, on the beautiful....and my life changed from being a hellish existence to a beautiful world. Thank you, Paola, for sharing how you created this beautiful world for yourself and for sharing it with us, teaching us how we can do it, too.
There's something so wonderful about going to your own garden, picking food you grew and eating it. It always inspired me as a child to see people do that. Being in tune with nature is so joyful, better than the soulless emptiness of buying something out of season in a supermarket.
Hey Poala, I'm bedridden for couple of days with high fever and runny nose and worst part is I can't even sleep due to this pain, but like a miracle your video just pop out and it was a 9 minutes of healing therapy for me, watching your video I finally fall asleep. Thank you, all love from Nagaland, India.
As a young girl, I imagined travelling the world and having wonderful experiences. Sadly, life had other plans. But things are better now and I live in a lush, green area of the UK. I guess it's been a different kind of adventure and as the saying goes, 'You're never too old.'
At times when I feel stuck in my tiny corner of this big world, I remember all the adventures I've had inside the infinite worlds I have built in my mind. I am as much a part of this world as I am of the endless worlds in my mind.
Maybe I am a little late here but I just wanted to say how relieved watching this video made me feel. I spend my days working in an office, I love my job but when I get out I need to also give voice to my more creative side. I often live in my reveries of a future life in my own little wooden cottage, of building my house myself, of doing art and having long walks in the woods. Sometimes it's very hard to be brought back to reality by more "practical" people but knowing I have this place where I can feel accepted is just so encouraging!
My daughter and I spend time together enjoying these videos, THANK YOU for helping me to share with her this quiet mindset that I cherish..gentle listening to beauty and imagination seems to give way to the truest path.
I remember a conversation with my neighbour (a friend of my mum) who told me "Why do you like fantasy? It isn't possible that those mages and beings exist." With a mild smile, I replied "And that's what makes them so truly magic. I dont' want to concentrate on real facts and what's acually possible only, because those non-existing worlds are my own place of refuge." As a writer of Dark/Classic/High Fantasy, I can proudly call myself a dreamer. I'm currently working on my first novel and this work is like the portal to another world I invented myself. It's one of the most wondrous and beautiful feelings I could ever experience.
I have traveled the world and had amazing adventures but have never left home! I too use fantasy and imagination to enhance my life especially when I am stressed. Books were my best friends in my childhood. Lisa Bunn
You are found a nitch that people are longing for. Simplicity, beauty, nature, story telling, fantasy, romance. The gentler, kinder aspects of our world. We crave peace and you have shown us a window into that world. Thank you.
You've really helped me appreciate the smaller things in life over the past few months and I've become a lot happier since. Thank you for making these videos! Love from Tokyo :)
Just had an insight - Through your camera’s POV, we *viewers* become the gnomes, fairies, nymphs of your story, seeing the world from all those surprising places. That’s where a lot of the magic of your work appears 🙏🏾🙏🏿🙏🏽
This is beautiful.. like you I get on the level of what I’m looking at. I love to look at the details of flowers, bees, etc. I’ve often been concerned for your safety being alone in the mountains. I have older friends that have picked apples commercially on the slopes of the mountains of Washington talk about bears coming near their work areas. I’m comforted when you post your brother is with you. Each chapter of our life builds us for the next chapter. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and life. Hugs from Arkansas.
Dear Paola, I'm only a 17-year-old girl who is still searching for herself. This year has been pretty stressful for me. I have spent a lot of time learning so that I would be able to get into college. I haven't had time to be creative or imaginative. I found your wonderful channel before the exam and I am so thankful for that. Paola your video help me to keep my artistic spirit alive. Next week, I am stepping into a new chapter of my life and I am super nervous. I don't know what my medical school experience would be like. I am a pretty sensitive spirit and find it hard to connect with other people. But when everything feels uncertain, I imagine that I have a little house next to your cottage, with a beautiful garden and scrumptious flowers. That I have a lot of free time to walk Into the woods, paint whenever I want to, read my favorite books, and never worry about my scores and exams. I know, it sounds weird and stupid but it is the only thing I can do when anxiety hits my body so badly. Thank you my friend for helping me, even though you don't even know me. Best regards, Mari PS I am sorry for my English.
Just like you, these videos are also mine little breaks from realities. They give me hope that there is a world of flowers, bees, Brooks and stories that are waiting to be lived. I may live them in parts in form of short vacations, pro bono work in hinterlands but I definitely would live those stories. Thank you for inspiring.
In a world that constantly feels like it's trying to break me down, your videos give me hope. I feel like myself when I watch your videos. Thank you so much for being who you are!
Thank you for this. I love what you said about Unicorns. My 8 year old loves dragons and with ever cell in her body she wants them to be real. I always tell her it is very possible they are real, because just because you cannot see something, doesn’t mean they do not exist. I try to fill her world with magic so I can include it in my life too. Thank you for the inspiration to think about being in one’s own storybook story. It is such a git to share this idea with people. I almost feel like a veil lifted. Also, I’m also in WA and live in a small rural area, we have many of the same wild flowers I see in your videos. I find it so comforting to see you enjoying the meadows in ways that never occurred to me. Thank you.
It’s truly incredible how much effect this can have on „real life“. I started to allow this part of myself to be actively open, just since a few months, and this was absolutely inspired by your channel. Not only has it changed how I feel here and now, but it’s already changed my future. It actually works like magic, when you allow magic into your life! Btw, the fairies are here, in my forest... They look like fireflies to us.
Oh, Paola....I will come back to this often as a reminder to always hold on to my imagination. I am just about to start college, and I'm afraid I'll be too busy worrying about how other people see me that I'll forget what I really love for a while. Thank for creating this beautiful, personal video; I love how sincere you are with everything you say, and I hope to follow your example. I wouldn't call what you do romanticizing so much as just appreciating beauty in your life, because why romanticize something that's already so beautiful?
I think as adults we often forget that it's okay (and good!) to have an imagination and see the world through a more whimsical eye. I still believe in faeries.
Paola, ALL of your videos are wonderful, yet this one touched me in an extra deep way. Seeing the world from a slightly different angle, focus on details and beauty that surrounds us no matter where we live, and keeping hopefulness in the heart - these are what your art, in all its forms, bring. After watching and listening, my world becomes fuller and richer, and my heart lighter. Thank you for pointing out that your life does not always look the way it looks in your films. Thank you from the depths of my being.
Call me crazy if you like, but I haven't been able to sleep all night, because I've been so excited and eager for your video to come up ... (I live in Europe, so it is early morning now) But it was worth staying awake for! ... This fairytalish video waters my heart, so that it can bloom more freely ... For me, this video is a heart-shaped treasure! ... I have always lived a lot in my imagination, for it has helped me to get through physical pain. I have always dreamed of connecting with other dreamers... People who both daydream and value their nightly dreams ... Even though the people gathered here on this channel are not my close friends in real life, we can still be friends in spirit and it feels like a dream come true to find Thecottagefairy's channel ... Thank you for awakening hope, dear Paola!!
@Little fairy Annika To Little Fairy Annika: Oh, now I went into my email and noticed that you had written to me here. (I first saw your comment on my own channel) I live in Sweden, but I guess you already know that by now, since you've seen my fairytale video. I am glad to be connected with you!! You have an inspiring username!!
Your videos are always so uplifting, and it makes me desperately want to learn to see all the beauty and light rather than dwelling on the darker sides of life. You are inspiring and you make me wish to do more. I can't wait to hear more of your fairytales.
This is absolutely beautiful, Ive been called a daydreamer my whole life and that I should get my head out of the clouds but honestly I would rather keep my head full of wonder and stories while searching for the right path:) Your channel is so calming and when I am stressed it never fails to make me feel calm once more. Thankyou so much for bringing your art into the world and inspiring others
I'm a dreamer and an idealist too and I sure wouldn't want to be anything else either. I've be loving mini worlds since I was a child, fairies, little creatures, flowers, mashrooms. I guess, that's why I adore making miniatures. Blessings dear from Kalamata, Greece.Yiota.🌱🍀🌳🌺🌻🍄
This is another peaceful journey along your path. I always love the feeling of peace that I get from watching you go about your activities and listening to your story. Have a wonderful week!
What you saying about "We have to know how to dream, to imagine a better world, to seek out the good. In order to build the peace. To nurture our own dream when others doubt themselves. Maybe I'm a idealist , but I don't want to be anything else." It's totally speaking my inner voice. Thank you to be you and showing it how.
thank you, paola, for your beautiful videos every week. not only do they showcase the wonders of the simple things in life, they calm me. i look forward to watching them as a way to help me de-stress in the middle of the week, and i just enjoy them wholly. so thank you again and i wish you a lovely day or night. sending my love 🥰❤️
Days of conflict really show you who you are and what you’re made of. Because of my difficulties I’ve made it this far stronger. I’m embracing who I am more and more each day and loving it.
I adore sunflowers, so I thought I’d share a brief version of my favorite Greek myth here because I think the people watching this would appreciate it: Clytie loved Helios, God of the Sun. One day, she walked into a field, knelt in the grass, and watched as he pulled the sun across the sky. When the sun was gone, she longed for another glimpse of him, so she stayed kneeling in that field and staring into the sky until he came back again. She did see him again, but he never noticed her. She stayed like this for 9 long days, living only on the dew and her own tears, because she never was able to have him. Eventually, her feet and legs became rooted into the field, and she became a beautiful sunflower - always looking toward the sun. ☀️🌻
Lovely ... Thank you for writing down this beautiful story ... Sad, but there is still a glimpse of hope in it... Perhaps life as a sunflower isn't so bad ... This story reminds me of Stevie Wonder's song: Come back as a flower, that his wife sang.
Seriously, Paola, I would probably tie myself to one of those trees and NEVER leave! Such breathtaking beauty!! And that river GORGEOUS! Your video came out great! That waterfall reminds me of one I was climbing in Puerto Rico many years ago when I didn't have a weak left hip! I was told by a local that it can be dangerous since a torrent of river water (from rainfall) can come down unexpectedly and that would be the end of me and maybe anyone swimming below. I learned something that I didn't know, but I really enjoyed climbing those boulders!! As a child I loved coming across mushrooms on the ground. They are so soft, round, pretty and so intricate in their design. I have to admit as a child, I couldn't resist crushing them with my hands!! Sorry pretty mushrooms! 🤭 You have sunflowers and poppies in your garden...how wonderful!! But it made me sad when you cut off the sunflower head, but relieved that it was for the birds...how kind. 🙃 What a fruitful gardener you are!! Potatoes and onions! You and Luke will never starve!! Cheers! 😊
I’ve been a dreamer as far back as I can remember. Over the years I was told to snap out of it. Thankfully , I didn’t! Your videos bring joy to my heart. Thank you ❤️
I just love the way you describe hard times with a smile on your lips. That little smile surely tells us silently how to deal with difficulties that we come across in our lives. I appreciate you, and to be honest, locking ourselves up in this time of corona, I envy the life you are living. So much of thanks, fairy, for making my day happy and peaceful, Love from Sri Lanka!
I'm still in my 20's and I just left school., right now I'm setting my own goals and building up my skills., I want to be the main character also of my story, its great that your content really help me to be more motivated to achieve things that seems to be impossible to me.. The love and passion for art, nature and peace really connects us.. keep safe always and continue sharing your stories.. Love ya.. I hope someday I will also inspire other people with the story that I'm creating right now.
I just wanted to say thank you for creating this channel. I only recently found your videos and not a moment too soon. I am a dreamer with a very, very vivid imagination. When I stepped into my lovely 9 to 5 I had to step away from my dreamer, my inner storyteller, my inner photographer. My inner child who wants nothing more than to just play outside, imagine and create. Your videos are helping me to re-embrace who I am and love life again.
This video...was my favorite of all! You made such an important point about dreams and reality. If we naturally dream in our sleep, that means dreaming is part of our nature. It makes sense to think that day dreaming is something natural too. Thank you sweetie, and God bless you!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for these videos. I rescue dogs from shelters and/or abusive situations. I always have meditations, soft nature music, Bob Ross, etc. on TV. Only peaceful sounds. I have a new rescue (10 days ago) and trying to help her relieve stress and anxiety. I have to keep her separated from my other rescues because she has been attacked by other dogs in her past. I love her. I love all my rescues. I stumbled on your videos and I cannot begin to tell you how I appreciate the peace they bring. My dogs love the soothing sounds and I love them too. We also love your black lab! ❤ Thank you for sharing with us. We are grateful for you.
I am always shocked by the unexpected beauty of a plant that looks rather uninteresting from the top view. I have found such beautiful small flowers because of looking at them from a different angle. It shows me how much beauty there can be in the mundane. ❤️🌸
I start my day here in India with your new videos, and it just always succeeds in getting me into the best mindset. I feel so calm and dreamy to get going with my schedule now. I’ve always had a similar attitude towards life as you describe here, of vivid imagination, appreciation of beauty and storytelling, which hasn’t been so good lately though, as i’vr struggled with being a new mom in a foreign country and missing my native country and family there for almost 2 years. But you always remind me of my innermost self. Now i want to even get back to my old dream of creating a fairytale book ❤️
Ah! I am honored to hear that - sending you hugs, while Puerto Rico is part of the US when my mother moved from there to New York it was a huge adjustment culturally (not to mention a language barrier). It took her a long time but she said myself and siblings helped it feel more like home. Wishing you the very best and please do write that fairytale book!
I love to rewind watching your videos in the morning before work. It gives me joy and strength before my bikeride to the hospital to work with patients lying before their death- talking- thinking about how fragil life is. Your words are an soothing inspiration in hard times. Thank you for a great channel.
You are like a Disney Princess , I'm so happy to seee your channel grow so much , I'm 14 and I'm learning so much from you and I think you and I have many things in common and your voice just soothes me soo much ❤️❤️❤️
The landscape around your cottage is absolutely amazing. Seeing the seasons change as you post through out the year is great! I live in an urban location but near the water along the Pacific Coast. Within and around this area there are pockets of natural beauty that I can escape to and connect with nature. Your message today was beautiful and we are all blessed to have a kindred spirit who is willing to share her thoughts and experiences in a place where we all can connect no matter who we are. Thank you.
I am aspiring at nearly 61 years of age to live my life in my body with acceptance and a love of beauty and romance around me. Creating your own reality is what life is. Your an inspiration.
During my break time as a JHS teacher, I always run in your UA-cam channel just to find calmness. Thank you for sharing to the world the other side of this beautiful creation in this chaotic world.
Paola, I love you and your brother…your music, photography, voice, and gentle presence is beyond any words I have at the moment. Just, thank you both. 🙏🏻 💗
I loved your perspective on dreaming during sleep. It's nice to think our reality is just as much our imagination, art, and stories. As I am old and my body failing, this realization lifts my spirits. Thank you for your wonderful videos!
I was so excited to hear you talk about this because I feel the exact same way. Cinematography is truly a creative process, it’s art. Everything you make is a little movie, you’re doing so good and inspire me🌸
A friend introduced me to your channel just yesterday and I'm so thankful for that. You remind me a lot of myself and it's helping me to just go ahead and embrace who I am. I thank you and I thank God. I've been telling Him lately how I'm struggling with insecurities again and I believe 'finding' your channel is one of His ways of telling me that I'm beautiful the way I am and that He created me like that for a reason. I like what you said about staying positive about the future while finding little ways to improve the present. Subscribed. Blessings from Canada.🌞
Another soothing, beautiful, & magical journey ❤️ In this world that we live in & having to "adult", it is wonderful to visit you & your fur babies for a little while. Thanks for reminding me that the magic of our imagination is still there we only need to tap into it...💕
My little girl’s teacher tried to use dragons to explain the difference between fiction and non-fiction; she got in a little trouble for refusing to accept that example. Thank you for another beautiful video.
I have been following you for a few months now. This one made me cry. Not sad tears, but happy ones. It took me back to my childhood and holding wild buttercups up under a friend's chin to be amazed by the yellow glow. Thank you for bringing me this long forgotten memory. God bless, keep and love you!
Dear Paola, watching your videos is filling my heart with peace and joy, so much beauty and gentleness I find there. Thank you for making them, keep doing it please, you are making this world a better place by doing so.
Honestly, your videos are so comforting. I watch them while preparing meals, before going to bed or when I'm relaxing, and they make my day so beautiful. Dreaming is something very important to me, and I could relate to this video so much. Greetings and love from Athens, Greece. 🌻
May I quote from a new mentor I found for my business - I am a singing teaching. "Empathize with your new student - Are they uncomfortable with the sound of their high notes? Would they like to make part of their voice stronger? Yes. Tell them “This can be done, this is a thing that I do, this is my job!” You, the singing teacher, are a Magical Alchemist Unicorn person, so you can figure out what is bothering this student the most!" I was so excited to hear her use those crazy words. Connecting with the dream life is part of some people's professions. And that's wonderful. You use it so well!
Dear Paola, we are all completely unique, and no two people experience reality in the same way. We create our own reality. That's universal law! Your videos are a bright shining light, and your light shines around the world. Thankyou! Love, light and blessings 🌎🙏💖
Paola, at the beginning of the year I found your channel. The peace I found from watching was so therapeutic. Although, I was living in a big city and was feeling very empty I was longing for ways to get to a small mtn town, to embrace my wanderlust at 47 years of age. During that time you mentioned in one of your videos that even though I was longing for the mtn I could still find a “reality” of peace where I was at. I embraced that until I moved! Now I am living in a small mtn town on the Western Slope of Colorado and my heart is so full of joy. Yes, there are days that are mundane and challenging but you helped me get here! I for one am extremely thankful for your channel and sharing your life with us! Thank you!
Ah! That warms my heart, I am so happy to hear that - I am facing the same situation, once I get married I am not sure where my life will take me, but plan to cultivate a place I love wherever that is ❤️ wishing you the very best
Hey Paola, Unicorns do exist, as you know yourself....only last week a 3 year old girl told me all about them at the museum I volunteer at...so told me this fascinating magical story that was amusing her parents to see her tell..... she was quite the personality for someone so very young and I hope she never looses that imagination. You are a superb story teller, Gentle Soul and an adventurous Child of Mother Nature .....Stay Safe Always 🧡
Your videos give me an inner peace like no other. Whenever I feel tired of everything, I come click one of your videos, and my mood and prospect of life changes in so many ways. Thank you for always inspiring. You are just amazing, Poala.
Absolutely ditto from me. What a soothing life you show and remind us with every video. I am a firm believer in the power of dreams, both waking and non-waking...thank you.🥰🙏💤
I'm a Searcher and when I first saw your videos, I thought you were a woman living alone in a cottage. I was so intrigued and you had me hooked. Doh! As I watched your beautiful videos, you talked about your brother, your boyfriend that you're living with, and your mother who lives close to you. My bad. I am glad you have all these people around you. I ❤ your voice. May you continue to have Beauty in your life.
Watching your videos is like a ceremony to me. For those minutes i forget everything and get immerse in the world where i draw my inspiration from. THANK YOU Paola. For making me realise that no matter what you are the driver of your dreams. It's just how you handle and drive yourself in those trying times. Sending you love and light❤. Aman (meaning Peace).
You my friend have tapped into our realm that not many people have accessed to! To understand and see beauty in the way you do it has made your heart come fully alive. I see it all over your videos!! So much like your creator. Sending love 💕
Your vlogs give me an peaceful feeling and how beautiful the place you live is really incredible which I admire it also the way you make videos with your life experiences and journey of your life. I really wanna live a beautiful yet peaceful life while being surrounded by nature someday when I will be independent. Maybe I don't know which attached me to you
Your story of romanticizing your life reminded me of an elderly woman who came to my work today and she was wearing all lapis lazuli blue. Thank you.
Love her way of looking at the world.
This comment makes me so happy.
Oh my gosh. This makes me weep in the best way
My soul speaks to me through this post and video
I need to express my creative side more… it has been contained for too long
Let us have dreams as said… they have enormous power to unlock our potential

Thank you, truly. I wish you the best.
This comment made me teary. I hope to live this kind of life.
I think it’s amazing that you still love life this way. A lot of older people in my life kind of look on The darker side of things on how the world has become. And as do I. I wish you the best and the most happiness even when we are nothing but stars among the cosmos.
"Healthy forms of escapism isn't escaping at all, but simply broadening the spectrum of the life experience" love that part...
Thank you!
Thank you for those words.
I Say a Pray for all those troubled souls who are trapped in that hell...wishing you find solstice and escape with- IN yourself where ever you are.
I might sound dumb but putting up some glow in the dark stars on your ceiling could improve your quality of life
Beautification of the home can keep a free imagination quite happy
I heard of this 1 woman caught in war
Everything outside all destroyed
But once you entered her house it was a completely different place
Magical and homely
It was like an escape from the outsides horrors
It could be worth it
Anyway
I wish you luck and happiness
Paola, I am so hoping that you are going to write a children's book. With your storytelling and your beautiful artwork, I am sure it would be wonderful!
Paola, listen to this advice you could potentially make millions. Maybe that's not your thing material wealth but it will set you up for the future. It's possible!
That would be amazing omg!
Именно чилдренз бук.
And her ability to illustrate. What a magical combination.
Agreed.
"Perhaps healthy forms of escapism isn't escaping at all, but simply broadening the spectrum of a life experience. Perhaps it's simply a question of embracing what you love, and not where, but how you want to live."
I want to remember that. Beautifully said.
Ah ❤️ thank you very much
❤️❤️❤️
I thought mat be it was just me who hung up on those lines- beautifully said like many more things simple, insightful, and soothing.
Jestem oczarowana. Piękne obrazy natury i duchowo dobrane do nich słowa.

I like your content so naturally
I can't stop it so beautiful. I really need this channel
💕 *What are some of your favorite movies?*
I needed this tonight...
Take care!!
@@nennepanrikefairytaleart4773 Oh, really? I'm so honored.. Your comment also give me some strength.. And, take care too❤️
To thine own self be true.
Thank you for this comment.
♥ ann
I am honored to hear that ❤️ thank you
Beautifully said, John Bible person. A beautiful comment, indeed. Thank you for sharing what so many of us feel too.
This is an astounding gift you are giving the world dear one.

Hello
It’s difficult I’m in the chapter of living authenticity, needing my medication and finding worth within myself without others seeing me as worthy or a creative. It’s very hard but I’m trying. Thank you for opening up dialogue and sharing your journey with us. This is a little piece of heaven for me.
wishing you the best and sending love ❤️ Proud of you for doing your best ❤️
Stay strong and in authenticity. Hear that inner voice you have and live intensely your feelings. Remember we are all new to this life and everyone is trying as best as they can.

@Little fairy Annika Same here beloved I make do with what I can on my good days ❤️
Oh! I hope you feel better ❤️ wishing you a full recovery soon, thank you very much
I almost cry with the beauty of this place. So peaceful, wish I could visit one day.
Winthrop, Washington
You have well over a half million of subscribers as well you should have. Your voice with the gentle cadence touches so many.
Dear Paola,
I'm only a 17-year-old girl who is still searching for herself.
Best regards,
Mari
PS I am sorry for my English.
Thank you.
Before I watch, I'm just so happy to dive into your world, just before bed time with my sweet little one. It's our weekly routine.
Same for me and my daughter!

Thanks for taking us along to see the beauty while looking for fairies😊
The lady bug taking flight was just awesome! I love this channel.
That little scene was wonderful. I loved seeing the ladybug open her wings and then lift off for a slow-motion flight toward the unknown.
Paola in wonderland, thank you for your fragility, artistry and beauty in your storytelling. Your hypersensitivty makes you such a natural healer.
It’s so refreshing to see a person connect and appreciate nature the way you do, God bless ❤️

I adore sunflowers, so I thought I’d share a brief version of my favorite Greek myth here because I think the people watching this would appreciate it:
Clytie loved Helios, God of the Sun.
Oh my God this is beautiful
Seriously, Paola, I would probably tie myself to one of those trees and NEVER leave! Such breathtaking beauty!! And that river GORGEOUS! Your video came out great!
That waterfall reminds me of one I was climbing in Puerto Rico many years ago when I didn't have a weak left hip! I was told by a local that it can be dangerous since a torrent of river water (from rainfall) can come down unexpectedly
and that would be the end of me and maybe anyone swimming below.
You have sunflowers and poppies in your garden...how wonderful!! But it made me sad when you cut off the sunflower head, but relieved that it was for the birds...how kind. 🙃
What a fruitful gardener you are!!
I want to tell you that this video is beautiful and also helpful because I'm trying to figure out who I am, and what to do in my life after a burnout.
You & Isobel Paige & my two favorites for what I consider to be a “genre” of YT channels. Really enjoyed your previous video, addressing addiction.
Try also the channel of Jonna Jinton.❤️
And also watch Leena Henningsen
This video resognates so much with me. I have chills. You are so wise beyond your years - you have no idea. Stay as true as you are to yourself.
I would say thecottagefairy's channel is the definition of fairyland✨❤️.
Your story telling is so therapeutic. You reduced the noise in my mind, I love you ❤
Absolutely ditto from me.
Photography is my ✨PASSION✨
It relaxes me while listening to rain pitter patter outside 🌧
I love your aesthetic 💚
'though our dreams don't exist in our reality, they are a part of it through art'

For making me realise that no matter what you are the driver of your dreams. It's just how you handle and drive yourself in those trying times. Sending you love and light❤.

I have had the hope that you will write and illustrate a children’s book imbued with your magic !!
You my friend have tapped into our realm that not many people have accessed to! To understand and see beauty in the way you do it has made your heart come fully alive. I see it all over your videos!! So much like your creator. Sending love 💕

I really wanna live a beautiful yet peaceful life while being surrounded by nature someday when I will be independent. Maybe I don't know which attached me to you
I swear her voice has the way of healing the soul. Could listen to her all day.
You are like the "mystical Unicorn" that we all desperately need in our harsh realities. A hope for beauty beyond.
