I found one holder in a second hand shop. Loved the size of the paper pad. I found them at a dollar type store. They are small enough to carry yet large enough to take notes at quilt meetings or a quilt class. I have toyed with the idea of making my own holder. This should be fun. Thanks
Love it, but question... When I saw this video your design/cover was already on.... Is there a link to start from the very beginning? Where and how you made the actual design?
Q: can a regular machine be used to sew through those chopping mat? I have an embroidery/sewing machine the “Dream”. I see you are sewing 🧵 with a heavy duty industrial machine
Keep the plastic away from the seam area Also keep double sided tape away from the seam allowance Its just a temporary holding tool Really not to be sewn through
Can you tell me what size sewing needle you used, the thread weight and the stitch length. I am new to sewing with vinyl and I am having trouble. Thanks Deb Schroeder
I love that you can use double sided tape with your Sailrite machine. My Sailrite gives me skipped stitches when I have tried it. Are you using a special nonstick needle? Or a particular brand of tape?
I do stabilize it if I use solid vinyl or smooth. But with buying textured there's no need. All of my textured vinyl comes from Stitch Don't Kill My Vibe ❤
Have the LSZ-1 here. What thread size are you using? Also are you using the sawtooth original feet set? Knurled? Smooth feet? Just curious if the sawtooth feet damage your vinyl.
Tex 80 from Wizardry Stitchery & I've got the original foot that came with the machine. (I really need to order others). The textured vinyl from SDKMV is high quality and I haven't had any issues with it damaging my vinyl. I do have the foot pressure set pretty low. I hope this helps 🤗
Great idea to use $Tree mats! Thanks. New subbie. 🌺
Ok i need to jump on this band wagon!!!
Mallrats!!! ❤ Thank you for the wonderful video!

Thanks Nancy for a great video.
I've made a couple , never thought of using that dollar store plastic!! So much cheaper than Decovil. I'll be going to the dollar store this weekend!
Absolutely, if they aren't local in your store you can also order them by the case online ;)
@@StitchDontKillMyVibe oh that's good to know! Thanks!
The stabilizer you used from Dollar Tree: are they domestic friendly?
Like how you take the time to pull your threads thru and tie off as opposed to just backstitching. Nice job!
Very nice, i like this version. TY
Thanks so much for showing this, I'm a visual learner!!
You are so welcome!
New to your channel and I love it. Thank you for making this look so easy.
Ugh, okay, that's it, I need to send you different wall art. That rainbow thing is wild, lmao! I love how easy you make this look.
But it is easy...I told you this ;p If you need help with any steps hit me up this week 🥰

I’ve just found you and loved this tutorial. Can I ask what thread you are using and if you think it’s suitable for a domestic machine? X
