The Super Mario Bros. Movie is getting a SEQUEL!

Hello everybody, and today we have a very exciting topic to cover today! Yesterday, Nintendo released a video for Mar10 Day, and confirmed that a SEQUEL to The Super Mario Bros. Movie is in the works and will be coming out in April of 2026! In this video, I talk about what might possibly be in this supposed sequel, and what I think it might potentially be about! I’m hoping peach is damsel in distress in the sequel cause I don’t like Luigi taking her role in the first movie.

I’m hoping the sequel will be really good and (finger crossed) kinda better than the first movie by expanding on the world of Mario and expanding the characters and giving them arcs. I’m betting we’re gonna see more Luigi since we’re getting Yoshi and we barely saw Luigi in the movie. But I hope for the sequel, and I’m hoping it’ll do good. We can still keep the references going and nods to the other games because that’s what we always love to see. I do have hope for the sequel and that they’ll do a good job and they have a lot of room to grow. But yeah, I have hope they can do it.
