Unfortunately this is what an attempted nest takeover looks like. I watched Alex from the Louisiana nests go through this after he lost Andria. An adult eagle came to the nest during the night trying to destroy the eggs. It’s pretty scary to watch. Thank God f23 is fierce and M showed up when he did!
I'm thinking this is an Offspring of M15 and Harriet...This is the same Sub Adult that spent the night in the tree F23 didn't like it but it was no threat and left the next day...I'm hoping this one doesn't mean harm but he chose the wrong Nest to mess with if that is the case ..
this one was a bit older than the others that have tried roosting in the tree prior. This one is atleast 4 years old and is almost fully mature (probably looking for a mate and territory now) while the other ones had only a small amount of white on head, and look to be 2-3 years old (I do believe it’s possible one of the younger ones could possibly be one of M’s).
Noticed sub flinched every time F23 even moved before that impressive expert eviction by F ! Doubt any ' intended' threat only natural sub curiosity :) Bravo F23 & Mighty M ! . Superb video as always..Thank you LadyHawk!
Sub adult might be one of Harriet and M15 offspring coming home to nest. Right place but Wrong time! F23 was having none of it. Mama took care of things Talons Out!🦅💪 Way to go Mama👏 Too close to hatching 🐣🐣 Thanks Lady Hawk for this edge of my seat drama!❤
No one messes with F23's clutch! She's a badass mama protecting her eggs and defending her nest. I love how she went up onto the attic branch, because she knew she needed leverage, before coming down and pouncing on the intruder. Seems to be a time of year when all the juveniles and subadults are looking for a home. And this pasture and pond are a prime Florida nesting site.
That’s my F 23 fierce mama she did her job! And went right back to her babies I love it. I love these two.❤️! she’s always been smart and strong. M 15 has the perfect mate or pick the perfect mate. She takes care of business and I love that M 15 showed up to be on guard. They are awesome.!
Just so impressed with how brilliant F23 was when she evicted the intruder. She carefully got up off the eggs and elevated herself on a branch so she could go at it from the same angle. Looked like she went talons first, she was serious! And the eggs were unharmed in the process ❤ Thank you Lady Hawk!
Incredible fierce protection. What great views at all angles. It looked like the sub saw the eviction coming. It seems that of the 4 or so nests i watch on a regular basis, this one has the most action with intruders, whether other eagles or owls. Beautiful closeups of F23 at the end. Well done 23 ❤ and 15
M15 and F23 are the most conscientious and committed parents. F23 was amazing in her defense of the eggs. M15 has a mate that matches his love of their unhatched eaglets!!!❤
F 23 knew she had to risk leaving her eggs for a moment to get turned around to face off with intruder. That was sneaky of intruder to land behind her like that!! WOW... smart Momma!!
Poor momma got so stressed out protecting her precious eggies! And what a brave momma she is: kicked that intruder's tail like nobody's business. I can only imagine she gave M15 quite a piece of her mind afterwards for missing the whole "show".
I was thinking the same thing. She was chewing M out, saying….”they flew over like this and I took him out, not once, but two times. Now, I have to do double duty”
Well executed plan. Got the point across. Scary how F23 got up and exposed the eggs but it all worked out. Amazing Thank you to the Pritchetts and Lady Hawk for another documentary series.
F23 is an alpha female. FAFO! The way she defended her nest so delicate and secure for the eggs while aggressive and determined towards the SA is admirable! Thanks for working overtime Lady Hawk!
Looked like the sub adult had at least some white on it's head. Boy that sub adult had some nerve landing on the rails of the nest. Good for F23 defending the nest!
Wowwww...so scary!!! God bless Mama who was ferociously protecting her eggs!!! That was hard to watch. 😮 She was awesome and Daddy coming as reinforcement. ❤❤❤❤
TY LH. Pretty Brazen of the Subadult - I wonder what his/her plan was landing on the nest rails when clearly momma wasn’t having it. Taking the high ground and then attack from above is pretty awesome and brilliant. Risky but brilliant warrior move. Gosh that was intense for this morning’s awakening. Appreciate the various camera angles. Thanks again LH you’re the best. 🤗😎🎄🦅👍
Great footage, intense moments, happy ending. THIS is cinema! Glad the eggs are okay. Hopefully F23 is able to rest at some point, I know this had her heart pumping!
Oh no 😮😢 It was really dangerous and poor F23 could break up the eggs unintentionally while defending 😮 But I am in awe how fearsome F23 is and how smart tactic she have chosen 😊 Kudos beloved F23 you couldn't have done it better 💐💪👌❤ What a nerve racking incubation season we have this year in SWFL 😢 I hope it finally stops 🙏 Be blessed awe-inspiring F23 and magnificent M15 🙏❤️ 🦅🦅🌲😍 Tysm dear Lady Hawk for perfect footage showing us this action from different angles of all cams 💐🍓💗🍫🐝🤗
😟 My heart felt like it was in my throat as I watched and listened to this! I always worry that the eggs could accidently be harmed when something like this happens. F23 is amazing! That is one brazen subadult!
wow 😮 so glad all is ok. this was very dangerous happening. that young eagle was determined & this could have been tragic. M15 needs to stay in nest tree with F23.
Wow that Sub Adult is getting Very Bold! Truly makes you wonder if it's a offspring. However, As nice as that would be, Now isn't the time for it to be around with it being so close to their eggs hatching as it's causing extra Stress for F23 and M15. Hope they move on. Worried when either comes in with food for the eaglets that they're going to have problems.
Oh my, that was intense - whew, glad F23 got the intruder to leave & that M15 arrived to stand guard. Thank you LH - glad I caught this before going to bed. Hugs & goodnight! 🤗❤
This is puzzling. Eagles aren't usually roaming about at night due to their poor night vision. That sub adult must be really hungry and was aiming for the eggs. I can't think of any other reason why it would be there and be that aggressive, again, especially at night. F23 did her job beautifully! And I was very glad to hear M15 arrive! Thanks for the great footage, LH. ❤
@@WildWestGall think this sub adult was looking for a place to rest or maybe even wanted to look for nestovers and was not wanting the eggs. Eggs are not a part of their dietary makeup. Had it wanted the eggs it would have attacked them as soon as F23 left them open when she moved to the branch to remove the sub-adult. Just my opinion.
Wow so close ro the eggs hatching and F23 having to deal with this. Cant believe the intruder had the audacity to land on the nest rails! Thank goodness M15 flew in to provide backup 🦅🦅🦅💜💙
I can’t believe that bird dropped down next to her in the nest! Sorry Charlie No home invasion here Mama’s got her guns blazing..out you go Birdie! Hit the Road Jack and don’t come back no more! I’m relieved she’s ok and caught herself with her eggs. I like the look she’s got staring into the camera at 13:45 😂 M15 you better stay put for the rest of the night!
TYSM for such a thorough video recap of this rather shocking an scary event! What a brazen young eagle! 😲 Wrong nest buddy 🦶🦅 WTG F23 smart & fierce indeed!! 👏 🦅💪💗 Oh how we look forward to meeting the chicks❣️❣️🐣🐣
Wow what a brave sub. Way to go F23 and M15. 🦅🦅Fierce indeed you two defending your eggs 🥚🥚. Thanks LH for always keeping us updated with the latest happenings.
Oh my goodness - how scary ! Our F23 is just formidable and thank God M15 was not too far away to hear her calls. Love the way she looked up at him. PEACE!
@Lady Hawk it certainly is “egg-citing”. God bless this eagle couple. F23 has some professional insights and instincts. M15 has already proven that he is Number 1. Much love to you and many thanks for everything. I agree, I'm glad the drama is over.
They sure are good parents. I haven’t seen any owls, they must’ve found a nest way far away, fantastic! Thank you for sharing your videos ,you do a great job.
I was just thinking/wondering the same thing about the owls. All of these rude intruders. What are they thinking... all of these sub adults... kinda funny timing. Especially if they are M's/Harriet's offspring. Time to come home to where their lives began. Who knows. ❤ I do love the thought.

F23 is brave and bold. She protects her eggs. Poor girl. M15 must be near. Their babies can appear now. It was difficult night. Thanks a lot for your video and your information. ❤

Brawa dla F23 .Trzymam kciuki za bezpieczenstwo tego gniazda.Czy jajeczka sa bezpieczne i nie ulegly uszkodzeniu.?Pan M15 przybyl niczym batman i pogonil intruza.Pozdrawiam Lady Hawk 😊
wow F23 is a POWERHOUSE!! Took care of biz in nothing flat and gave that darn intruder a whopping. She is picking up where Harriett left off. I think that intruder is probably a eaglet from the nest. I notice that dang big carwash over there gives this nest waaayyy too much light. It's easy for stuff to fly in now
Holy •••• ! What a Ballzy Sub-adult coming outta nowhere. Get ur own Nest Pest... F23 don't put up with that nonsense...Hoping everyone is good...🙏🦅🥚🥚🦅💖
Strange to see an eagle out and about at night... Even with F23 alerts and warnings that sub adult didn't budge until she jumped on him and pushed him off the rails... M needs to stay in the nest tree... But happy he heard her distress call and came in like a wrecking ball...
I'm wondering why the sub adult dropped down to the nest rails after hearing she was alerting it. Is it wanting to help incubate, hurt the eggs, look for food, since it's dark for a place to roost or just being curious? Idk, but it seems like it has no fear. Hopefully, now it knows not this tree or territory for that matter
💞💞 Oh dear!! This was very intense and I almost had a heart attack watching it live!! Our smart Mighty Fience Mama F23 masterfully protected and defended her precious eggs and pushed this unwelcome intruder off the nest. 💞💪🦅💞 Bravo my dearest F23!! 👏👏 I'm so proud of you!! 🥰🥰 Bless her heart. 🙌🦅🙌 Oh yeah!! It was truly a relief to see Mighty M15 landing on the treetop and this intruder flying to the west.💞💞 I had the impression that this unwelcome intruder was going to land on the nest tree again if M15 hadn't arrived. 🤔🤔 Bravo Mighty Super Daddy M15. 💞🦅💞 After he arrived, F23 finally calmed down and continued incubating her precious egg peacefully. 💞🥚🦅🥚💞 And she went back to sleep sweetly, snuggled up on the eggs. 💞💤🦅💞 Stay safe under divine protection and sleep peacefully, my dear loves F and M. 🙏🦅💤🦅🙏 May God bless and protect them always. 🙏💞🙏 Thank you so much for this coverage, dear Lady Hawk. 💙💙 Take care and be blessed. 💐💙🥰🥰💞✨🌴🪹🦅🥚💘🥚🦅🌌💞🙏
I hope M15 stayed on the tree the rest of the night. Other times, F23 has alerted and M15 never came, but I'm thinking he can see the nest regardless and knew this sub adult dropped onto the rail. The other times he didn't come like when a sub adult slept on the nest tree for 11 hours right after the eggs were laid, M15 flushed it out in the AM but F23 was not happy all night and got zero sleep
Yeah I remember that...I'm pretty sure this is an Offspring of Harriet and M15 but F23 wants no part of it...Too bad the second nest blew away Sub Adult could live there...Well unless the Owls were there...I'm glad they are gone.
That sub adult has a lot of nerve. If it’s looking for the comforts of home, it’s got the wrong house! What a fierce mama F23. ❤️🇨🇦
Unfortunately this is what an attempted nest takeover looks like. I watched Alex from the Louisiana nests go through this after he lost Andria. Holy smokes! Isn’t this unusual for an eagle to be out at dark like this? Really some nerve on that SA. F23 is a beast! ❤❤
6:20 The sound the Sub Adult made, that was so CUTE!!
Noticed sub flinched every time F23 even moved before that impressive expert eviction by F ! Doubt any ' intended' threat only natural sub curiosity :) Bravo F23 & Mighty M ! . Superb video as always..Thank you LadyHawk!

Mama goes full beast mode. Even steps up higher to get a tactical advantage of diving down on intruder.
Nice move Mama Maybelline! 😉🥊💪🏆🎉💖

I loved her strategy, too. She knew exactly what to do to keep the eggs out of danger.
Oh my, hope eggs r safe what a mom she is...I wish cam ops would let us name them both. They r best parents ever

Spicy mama f23. Love how she got higher to put the drop on the intruder. She meant to knock that Birdie out of her nest.
That was a very bold SubAdult. Good for Mom to get it off the nest. I'm happy M15 got there to back her up. thanks Lady Hawk.
Wow do not mess with mama! Defending her eggs and nest unfearfully.
Great job F23!
Thank you for sharing, Lady Hawk!
Incredible fierce protection. What great views at all angles. It looked like the sub saw the eviction coming. It seems that of the 4 or so nests i watch on a regular basis, this one has the most action with intruders, whether other eagles or owls. Beautiful closeups of F23 at the end. Well done 23 ❤ and 15
Claws out! No mercy! "Get out" - helicopter scene. So stressful for her to endue though. Thanks for sharing.
M15 and F23 are the most conscientious and committed parents. F23 was amazing in her defense of the eggs. M15 has a mate that matches his love of their unhatched eaglets!!!❤
Oh my word! Now that was one fierce boot out of her nest! On to your post of her pipping egg next. Wondering if this may have accelerated the process?
F 23 knew she had to risk leaving her eggs for a moment to get turned around to face off with intruder. That was sneaky of intruder to land behind her like that!! WOW... smart Momma!!
Brave F23! Thank God she took charge of her situation and M15 returned. These gorgeous creatures have a lot to deal with!
Very tense moments! She is fierce. And she gives her mate a strong talking to when he finally shows up.
Harriet would be so proud... ❣
Don't make F angry you wouldn't like her if she's angry 😤🦅💪
Some sub adults r so clueless. I’d think it got the message once fierce F23 booted it out of nest. Scary stuff for sure. Thanks LH❤️🦅❤️
She takes names and kicks ass!
Good job, F23. I'm glad M15 showed up. Great job, M15
Very intense moment but m15 and f23 prevail and nothing is welcomed here awesome parents and protectors🦅♥️
That F in F-23 stands for fierce23.no doubt about it.great job F23.protect our bobbleheads.thanks for the exciting video Lady Hawk.❤❤
Fierce 23 and Michael15 🦅🤎🦅

Wow !! F-23 is fearless .... protect Her egg's at all costs !! 🥚🥚 and She did !! M helped too : ) Teamwork ♥ Thanks, Lady Hawk ... waiting for a pip 🙏

Somewhat surprising the sub adult would be flying around at night since Bald Eagles don't have good night vision.
M15 was also very vocal.
Wowwww...so scary!!! God bless Mama who was ferociously protecting her eggs!!! That was hard to watch. 😮 She was awesome and Daddy coming as reinforcement. ❤❤❤❤

Great footage, intense moments, happy ending. THIS is cinema! Glad the eggs are okay. Hopefully F23 is able to rest at some point, I know this had her heart pumping!
F23 is a courageous defender of her eggs and nest. Thank you, Lady Hawk! Too many intruders around this year.
Now that was intense! She is quite the fighter. A good mom. Thanks Lady..
That was one curious visitor.

We have ‘mysterious’ drones and they have intruders. The fun never ends. 😮
Yes
A little nerve racking. Good job F23!
You go Mama tell him about whose nest it is!
Oh my goodness - how scary ! Our F23 is just formidable and thank God M15 was not too far away to hear her calls. Love the way she looked up at him. PEACE!
Great job, F23! Send it packing!! Ty for sharing 😊
What a mama!! ❤❤❤
That close up of the face at the end of the video, AWESOME! They are so beautiful and majestic!
Thank you for another great video and update!❤
Yeah, she looked mad. Not happy at all.
@Lady Hawk it certainly is “egg-citing”. God bless this eagle couple. F23 has some professional insights and instincts. M15 has already proven that he is Number 1. Much love to you and many thanks for everything. I agree, I'm glad the drama is over.
There have never been this many eagles on cam in past years. Ugh 😢 They just keep coming.
Scary!
I can’t look- just grateful everyone’s ok!! ❤️❤️❤️
Cheers to you F23, fight to keep your babies safe. 🦅 🎄 👍
Wow😮

Don’t MESS WITH MAMA!!!! They make a great team. It would have been very easy for a stray talon to damage the eggs (like last year). Phew ❤️🦅🦅🇦🇺🥚🇦🇺
❤❤❤❤ Thanks Lady Hawk for info and video.
OMG what a night! 😮
Blessed to the precious family eagles 🙏🥚🙏🥚❤️🦅❤️🦅🌹💐great job mom and dad 🙏🦅🙏🦅♥️♥️
F23 is brave and bold. She protects her eggs. Poor girl.
M15 must be near. Their babies can appear now. It was difficult night. Thanks a lot for your video and your information. ❤
Bless F23🙏❤️intense
I love watching M15/F23🤓 thanks again Lady Hawk, good job capturing this!😘

Isn't she though! In reference to comments about both F23 💪🦅💗 & Lady Hawk❣️🎁💝 💯
I never realized eagles flew in the dark!
It’s scary when an intruder actually gettin in the nest. Probably looking for food. Which is a threat to the eggs.
Sweet and lovely mom 💕💐🙏🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Wowwwwww what drama for our mama. WTH man 🥺
😮 Well done Mama ❤ 🦅 🥰

An audacity intruder to the nest rail! 🥶
But mom is strong with using smart technics. 🤧😍
I'm guessing that this sub could be one from a previous hatch returning to nest tree. Because they're not banded we'll never know
Poor mom 🦅💕💐🌹🙏
They sometimes allow sub adults to stay but once there are eggs and chicks, stay away
Don’t mess with mom!!
wow F23 is a POWERHOUSE!! Took care of biz in nothing flat and gave that darn intruder a whopping. She is picking up where Harriett left off. I think that intruder is probably a eaglet from the nest. I hope the Eagles get the intruders to stay away ❤
Was that Sub-adult really gonna go back to the tree before it saw M15?
Interesting trying to interpret why these sub adults would want to disturb the nest? Seems they would instinctively know things will not go well.
