1:51 there indeed is one in the Netherlands. It’s called ‘madurodam’ but it’s only about Dutch related things. Ig more countries have those kind of things.
thanks for checking out another map of mine! great guesses as always. I'm working on another one but it's a big project and will probably take months or years but I'll definitely be sending it to you when it's done. fun map selection for this video btw :)
The giant grasshopper is part of a really cool art installation called the enchanted highway! It’s a rural road near Theodore Roosevelt NP that has tons of giant statues of grasshoppers, deer, pheasants, geese in flight, etc. cool place to visit if you’re going to TRNP!
12:57 Ive been there! On a drive around southwestern north dakota, its just as it says on the tin. Giant grasshopper, i cant quite recall if thats on the enchanted highway or not, but its in that vain of "woah look at that"
8:41 As someone from England I also really did not expect that to be England. It was down South though to be fair so life is much better for them, hence why that location looked like the better country Denmark. You'd never see a location like that just outside Pontefract trust me
I honestly was waiting patiently for sussy Europe map. Honestly, there’s a multi-day roadtrip’s worth of sussy places just in the UK. I also enjoyed the The Big What map. I’m hoping there are plenty of Aussie places and ya just didn’t get any because holy moly did Aussieland go through a phase of every town wanting a giant fiberglass something or other there for a while.
Wow, the buildings in the first South Korean map you referred to were actually ones at my university at in Busan (Tongmyong University - I've been a professor there for over 7 years now). I've been to that UN Peace Park many times - I knew what it was right away before you turned around as I took a picture right there. It's cool to see it show up in one of the maps today!
It would be very easy to make a map with the same theme as the last one, but with UK locations only. There are so many rude place names here (I think my favourite is Cockermouth in Cumbria). 😄
magnetic hill is the lamest tourist attraction i've ever been to, you wait your turn to drive to the right spot on the hill and then put your car in neutral and it gets "pulled up the hill" in an apparently "magnetic" way. it's supposed to be an optical illusion that's a quirk of the geography, but it's barely noticeable, very unconvincing, AND you have to pay for it
For the curious, Horní Police means upper shelf in czech
That's where I keep my.... never mind
@@ChicagoGeographer🤨🤨🤨
@@ChicagoGeographer ...maps? :D :D :D
Police is most likely from the word pole meaning field, so correct translation would be probadly Upper Fields
@@Qhgkeksjcjs diminutive of pole is políčko, so that doesn't make sense
last round of the video was really hard
I’m still waiting for the next Bathrooms of Cameroon
I’m hard at work at Bathrooms of Burundi and Lavatories of Lesotho.
What does that mean lol bathrooms do u mean those misplaced locations in africa
@@josiahhager4046 lol
Restrooms of Rwanda? Facilities of Fiji? Water closets of Wisconsin?
@@dascraazyno, maps where every location is an actual bathroom
the look on his face at 14:46 😂

Condom? "I have heard of that. I don't know where it is".
That last map was definitely the best one
12:36 knew this one because of scott cramer's enchanted highway video lol
Same

Oh cool, I saw the geese when driving by there but didn't know there were more!
@@BeautifulxBeginnings yeah the geese are right along the main highway, and they’re the first along the enchanted highway. It heads south from there
15:11 My honest reaction when the Horni Police show up...

there is a map called 'A place name world' with 10000 right now. Working on it with multiple more people. If you want you can try it (:
Ye very fun
Not biased at all

That Ecuador on Mexico sees reminds me of that one Eadu C gane at the world cup

It’s called a golf bag 13:12. Looks like it’s supposed to be one of the old ones which were really heavy, but the new ones are a lot lighter.

you can kinda region guess mongolia.
if the roofrack is filled in (black) then you are west of ulaanbataar, if not then your east of it.
A tip for You are "The Grand Tour" season 1, episode 12 "Romantic Road". Have fun!

for mongolian landscape guessing: east is just green grasslands, west and north are mountains, and south is desert

Commenting for the algorithm. Also, congrats on 50k!
I am not good. Today I went Brazil, Tunisia and Greece twice on Turkey but then I did eventually click Turkey. It was France. 10/10 would play again.
