- Dinsmore Inc. utilizes SLA (Stereolithography) technology to 3D Print a patient specific bone using the patient's CT data. Recent advancements in speed and accuracy of 3D printing technologies have allowed surgeons to simulate procedures using life-size anatomical models that are created directly from a patient’s CT scan or MRI.

What a fantastic idea..imagine soon we can replicate bones to the fullest, then we can experiment with what more we can do to the human body

Why not print it with titanium and optimized topology? That way you get a stronger and lighter bone than the natural thing.
@@Danuxsy Could cause worry for necrosis. Would also have to “reteach” different bone cells to uptake and secrete titanium in order to keep in functioning, among many other processes.

Which material or filament did you guys used?
It seems to be a ceramic resin, i think so anyways. If you put a ceramic resin into a kiln you'll get a mostly ceramic part however it will shrink in size.

And did he needed a oven to dry the bone?
It's a UV cure box, when the part comes out of the printer the surface is not completely cured so it needs to be washed in a solvent (ie isopropyl alcohol), dried, and then post-cured in UV light. Often cure boxes are heated because some resins cure best at specific temperatures.
