Hello, everyone!!! Today I want to show you the process of restoring and customizing a ciocc frame. In the video you will see the entire restoration and painting process that this beautiful frame took me. Buenos días a tod@s!!! Hoy os quiero enseñar el proceso de restauracion y customizacion de un frame ciocc. En el video vereis todo el proceso de restauracion y pintura que me ha llevado este precioso frame. Every time I watch your videos I feel the urge to buy a sand blaster and a spray gun. Must resist.
Hahaha Hello, Robert!!! That's why you will need to buy them. I don't have sand and it would be a good investment for me. Lately sandblasting prices have been through the roof. Thank you friend for leaving me your comment ; )

Hola que tal. Que bien las restauración de esas bellezas. también tuve oportunidad de reparar varias bicicletas así. Un tiempo ejercí ese trabajo. Tuve una bici marca Francesco Moser. creo en México no se vendieron. la mía la trajeron de estados unidos. allá por el año 94. a ver si te toca restaurar una Moser. saludos desde Guanajuato México.

Es un verdadero deleite como poco a poco se va convirtiendo un hierro oxidado en una auténtica maravilla. Ahora solo faltaría, para que el éxtasis sea total, un vídeo con unos de esos montajes habituales de DAB.

Hi, friend!!! First of all, thank you for your comment. To your question about why I applied the white after varnishing. My answer is the following: "If you do it before when you have not yet applied the varnish, you may have problems if you apply it incorrectly and you get out of the pantograph, if you do it with the varnish already placed, you can always touch up if you go out of the lettering area" I hope my answer has been useful to you. Also to say that this is how it was done in the past. That's why I do it like that too. All the best ; )

Very nice. But why use 2k basecoats when you are finishing with a 2k clear?
Hi, friend!!! I'm glad you liked the video. To your question about why I put varnish at the end. This is because double-coat paint always has to have a varnish that prevents the paint from deteriorating over time and also because otherwise the paint would never have a shine. @@dabrestauracion7404 Hola, entiendo por qué usas una capa transparente para terminar. Lo que pregunto es por qué usas capas base con un catalizador, lo cual no es necesario porque tu capa transparente tiene un catalizador.
@@wayneluyt4089 no es catalizador, el un diluyente que se utiliza en la pintura bicapa😉

Hi, friend!!! Even though it looks like the chrome is in good condition, it wasn't. In any case, the client did not want to restore the chrome and wanted everything painted, so that the budget would not increase further. I understand why you painted the fork and chainstay….but, it is always a shame to lose the chrome on these classic frames!
