Wow that pisses me off. Can’t believe people can’t just watch and understand a movie instead of trying to make up conspiracies. And wtf why do people hate the police so much.
I believe in a total breakdown in the police system. I don’t want to abolish the police but there’s definitely a lot of work to be done. The Batman did a great job at commenting the amount of corruption in the system but this ending is hope, some will fight and rise to the overwhelming forces that choose money and power over the sworn duty to the people they once said they would serve and protect. The Batman was phenomenal. I might even put it above The Dark Knight which is saying something. I feel like Heath Ledger was so amazing that it elevates that film by a wide margin but The Batman was just firing on all cylinders. It’s definitely neck and neck for me
@@jeffreyliu2289 well for starters I’m not saying we should abolish police entirely. I’m talking about serious reform to the system that is in place. Anyone who wants to become a police officer should have to undergo at least a couple years of education in regards to mental health, how poverty leads people to commit crimes along with mental health issues including drug addiction. 6 months of training and boom you’re out patrolling the streets just isn’t cutting it, it’s ridiculous to be honest. Even after or while they’re completing whatever college courses required to help them understand who they are dealing , they should be provided with mentorship. They should have all the tools necessary to deescalate situations if at all possible without using force. Whoever completes said courses should be heavily evaluated. Only the best of the best should make the cut. People who choose to serve their community for the right reasons , individuals with high morals, empathetic men and women. When it comes to their budget, I believe some of it should be transferred over to a few different social programs, especially for the youth and especially in low income communities. We all were kids once, every criminal started off as an innocent child. What led them down that road ? We need to do whatever we can to help guide kids who come from broken homes. Education is key basically. You can just pull out a weed and expect it to be done with if you don’t completely unroot said weeds. I’m not saying what I’m presenting will completely abolish all crime but it has to be a start. I also believe the war on drugs has caused more harm than not. Drugs should be taxed, they should be like provided like any other good we have , but at least it will be regulated. People are going to get drugs one way or another, look at what with the opioid epidemic. The pills where flowing like water, then the DEA cracked down hard and now people are buying oxycodone pills that are manufactured by some unregulated cook in the Mexican desert and it’s cut with fentanyl. They created a whole other beast. These are just my thoughts / opinions but I am open to having a conversation with anyone whom has a different take, but I don’t think what I’m presenting is totally outrageous, the only thing I can understand people having a hard time wrapping their minds around is my take on drugs but if alchohol and tobacco can be picked up around any corner store after you turn 21 why shouldn’t other drugs be the same. Tax it and regulate it. Boost the economy and also provide free healthcare systems revolving around drug addiction for those who are sick of relying on drugs to help get them through their stressful lives.
In this movie. not all cops work for falcone. only the higher rank ones. juniors like martinez and other low level cops we’ve seen who waiting outside while falcone being arrested are uncorrupted. this allows gcpd to show they still running their job & duties, but also hide their other faces who work in the darkside.
@@jeffreyliu2289 I’m happy to hear it. Again I’m open to dialogue but these conversations have to be had. If not for our sake then for the next generation

Why are you people at the States so insane that can come up with a term like "police propaganda"?😂😂 are you all out of your mind there? Not even people that live where there are really corrupt and bad law enforcement think like you do😂😂😂, you'll talk about "privilege" but can't even be grateful for the country you live in even when its better than most if not all other nations
@@joelmontero9439 Because we're the most powerful most wealthy country on earth and we should have a good police system? Like this is really basic stuff.
It’s definitely neck and neck for me
What do you think should replace the police in preventing and deterring crime?
Yknow what, I think I agree.
@@jeffreyliu2289 I’m happy to hear it. Again I’m open to dialogue but these conversations have to be had. If not for our sake then for the next generation

People thought this was propaganda? Reaching....
Can we just enjoy the movie?

Police propaganda? Sounds like something Ben Shapiro would say
You mean pink haired aardvark?
@@RyanG0899 bruh
Nope, looks like something Ben Shapiro would make a video about after a leftist said this.
@@milanmohan7731 "After a leftist said it"

That scene just proves not everyone is corruptible. That there are actually good, pure people out there (not many).
"Corruption" ignores the fact that police systems protecting the powerful from the poor are functioning exactly how they were designed to.
Have society really become so against all police in the past 2 years that now MOVIES can't show them in any sort of positive light
You really think anything from Hollywood would have police propaganda in it? Lol
Batman was more than willing to throw down with any cop that wasn’t Gordon. If anything the movie was anti-cop given how Batman views them
Just because one black woman on twitter thought something idiotic and decided to write it down doesn't mean (people) are criticizing it
Even if it was police propaganda, so?
Some movies nowadays have Chinese propaganda, but you don't see anyone calling those out. Double standard at its best.
"This the batman scene is not propaganda" ?
Headass you didn't even show the scene either.
He showed the scene twice.
For real, I’ve even heard people say this movie is woke but yet they have a black conservative woman governor win
Every cop in Gotham that isn't there in that scene should have been fired.
What if they were on a different call
People shove politics into everything now days…It’s infuriating
"police good" as a moment of hope IS police propaganda
This is Gotham. Not real life.
Gotham is a rotten festering cesspool with no hope. A tiny bit of hope is what keeps the people of Gotham going including Batman.
Showing that there is non corrupt police within the masses of corruption in Gotham's entirety doesn't mean "police good".
It's hope for change.
Being a cop these days is like being a soldier right after Vietnam
It dismantled everything they said all at once. It calls to action by saying “The cops are structurally corrupt” but then this shot ambiguously just says “Oh, cops weren’t ALL bad.” It’s a not a real fix to the issue planted.
The fact somone think this scene is propaganda is insane
*press "x" to doubt*
It's a movie set in a fictional city! WTF you talking about!?!
Most Hollywood movies make police seem like angels from heaven who we need and shows them breaking laws all the time lol . I love how this movie is so truthful .
Can you tell me the names of some of those movies.
@@azure4277 all the bad boys movies show them breaking into people homes without a warrant and kicking peoples asses for fun . Also all movies and shows with interrogation scenes are full of lies .
@@itscesarbtch3451 how is that police propaganda do they say anything about how their right or is the fact that they’re cops just an excuse for a good buddy cop film.
Almost every Batman story Gordon has a group of cops he trusts and becomes his special tasks force also.
The Penguin also tried to kill Falcone because he Snitched
The only scene that would be even close to propaganda would be when cat woman said “those white privileged assholes”. I facepalmed when I saw that scene it seemed super unnecessary
How can people have a problem with NOT EVERY SINGLE COP IN GOTHAM BEING CORRUPT. The whole movie was exposing corruption but the one scene where they show the few good people and that’s seen as propaganda. By sheer statistical probability there had to be a few good cops left.
Remember when we just enjoyed movies and didn’t shove mindless political discussions/ controversies into them? Pepperidge Farms Remembers. And Pepperidge Farms would very much like to go back to that.
Police propaganda??? People are really stupid. What you said is what I got from the scene; I even feel Gordon sent out a amber alert to cops who wanted to be there.
Sure that's propaganda, yet Zoë's Catwoman saying, "white, privileged a**holes" is a tip of the hat.
I think people don’t seem to understand the concept of stereotypes
"Its not police propaganda" *proceeds to explain why the movie thinks police can still be good*
Better than BLM propaganda
Wow a racist how pathetic
In one of my Discord groups someone went to see this movie but said they didn’t like it because “the whole movie is copaganda”. Like, did we watch the same movie?
Why are you people at the States so insane that can even come up with a term like "copaganda" or "police propaganda"? Are you all out of your minds there or something?😂😂😂 what's next "plumbers propaganda" or "cashiers propaganda"?😂😂😂
@@joelmontero9439 That's the thing, I'm Canadian! Haha!
Imagine living in a country where the police are so untrusted that seeing them do their job at the most basic level in a silly comic book movie feels like propaganda.
Maybe that's because you people at the States are just insane 😂😂😂
I’m surprised this scene was in the movie at all considering how woke it was
How was it woke? Just because it had black people in it?
Eh?
I can see why they would have that read. Copaganda is a real thing. They'll have a cop shake some black guy's hand on video and be like "SEE NOT ALL COPS ARE BAD" and just hand wave the cover ups, targeting and blatant abuse of authority.
EXACTLY THIS. Anytime you have a cop act like a good guy beyond the other cops, it's implying that it's just the individuals that are bad, that the system isn't inherently broken. Same cop that shakes that black guy's hand will be deployed to brutally repress him when he decides to advocate for his rights and the state doesn't like him.
wtf is "police propaganda" supposed to be? its a damn superhero movie
